Bad behavior of students is one proof of educational failure, and the teacher is the person who most responsible. Therefore, the school must care about teacher performance, with all efforts and capital. This study aims to analyze teacher performance factors. Quantitative is used as a research method, the object of research is MTs Ma'arif Cipakem Kuningan, the study sample was 75 teachers, the sample technique using census, the research instrument is questionnaire, and linear regression is used as an analysis method. The results showed those professional competence and personality has significant effect on teacher performance. This finding confirms that performance is the result of intellectual and emotional ability, so the reflection is correct teaching

This paper discusses the implementation of language ability, culture and history as local content in schools curriculum in Bekasi. The educational development of local-content character often faces the polemics and the proper methods in implementating it. It also includes efforts to develop local content such as local history and culture of Bekasi. Therefore, it takes effort to make stages in implementing local-content curriculum systematically, starting from the problem identification, enrichment of local-content curriculum, until the mechanism of the right policy for the purpose to build generation with local and national content-character going hand in hand.

In the realm of Islam, the word library is known as ?maktabah? derived from ?kitab? means the book. In America and Europe, the word ?library? taken from the Latin ?liber? means the book. There is a similar term ?bibliography?, which is in the library called catalogue. In Bahasa, the word library (perpustakaan) is taken from the Sanskrit to refer to the book. Library has been part of human life. Therefore, the issue of library development is inseparable from commitment, facilities, collections, resources, budget and technology and government policy. Local library is often in a poor condition viewed as an object that is less liked by the students, especially by business people. As a result, it?s not surprising if students described library as a "spooky" or "haunted" place. Also, when students are asked how often they visit library in a month, the answer is ?sometimes or never at all?. The efforts to develop and improve the quality of local libraries in Bekasi, can not be separated from a shared commitment to both government and its officials, community and business / industry to build the whole person not just imposed on educational institutions

Upaya pengembangan dan pelestarian budaya dan bahasa merupakan paradigma yang perlu dikembangkan dalam proses pembangunan global saat ini. Dahulu budaya lokal seringkali dianggap sebagai penghambat pembangunan, tetapi kini budaya/bahasa lokal justru menjadi faktor utama dalam proses pembangunan. Berkaitan dengan budaya dan bahasa melayu dialek Betawi di Bekasi, Depok, dan Tangerang, perlu dilakukan kajian komprehensif. Hal ini tidak terlepas darikondisi historis perkembangan sejarah Jakarta (Batavia) dan sejarah wilayah di Bekasi yang sebelum tahun 1949 masuk ke wilayah Provinsi Jakarta, dan pada tahun 1950 berdasarkan Undang-Undang No. 14 Tahun 1950, masuk wilayah provinsi Jawa Barat. Sejak itulah terjadi dilema dilihat dari kultur dan bahasa, di satu sisi sebagian masyarakatnya menggunakan bahasa Melayu Betawi, tetapi sebagai bagian Provinsi Jawa Barat dalam kurikulum mulai diarahkan pada muatan lokal Bahasa Sunda. Namun, akhirnya Provinsi Jawa Barat kemudian mengapresiasi keragaman budaya dan bahasa di Jawa Barat.

The dynamics of regional economy development that all this time is moved by domestic consumption needs to be pushed by investment and export. For thatreason, conducive investment climate is needed. It is a climate that encourages someone to do investment with cost and risk as low as possible and produces high and long term profit. There are some factors which influence the investment, namely politic and social stability, base infrastructure condition, financing sector, labor market, regulation, taxation, bureaucracy, corruption, consistency and policy assurance.

Community empowerment strategy is a step that needs to be done by analyzing the potentials and problems in a particular community. It also needed to determinestrategies and policies by basing themselves on four domain of Community Development, namely: (1) Populist Aspects; (2) the aspect of self-reliance, (3) Aspects of Independence, and (4) Aspects of sustainability (Sustainable).
