Abstract

MODEL PENGEMBANGAN KURIKULUM MADRASAH HADRAMAUT DI PONDOK PESANTREN DARUL FAQIH MALANG. Tulisan ini memberikan gambaran tentang model pengembangan kurikulum madrasah Hadramaut di pondok pesantren Darul Faqih Malang, mulai dari mengkonstruksi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kurikulum Madrasah Hadramaut, secara teoritis dari konsep, pada lembaga pendidikan pondok Pesantren Darul Faqih. Secara umum model pengembangan kurikulum Madrasah Hadramaut, yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi, diikhtiarkan untuk dilakukan di pesantren dibawah paying visi dan misinya. Model pendidikan Hadramaut merupakan Pendidikan yang harmoni dan moderat, sehingga ketika dikembangkan di pondok pesantren dapat dikatakan cocok dan tepat. Meskipun banyak kegiatan yang dilakukan di dalam pondok pesantren, akan tetapi santri dapat mengembangkan kemampuan ataupun potensi yang dimilikinya dan dijembatani agar bisa melanjutkan studi ke Hadramaut. Abstract

Prefentive and currative efforts of COVID-19 in pesantren is a crucial points to be done in order to conduct conducive and safe learning situation. This community service aims to form, train and assist Santri Husada in carrying out its role in the health sector of Islamic boarding schools. This campus environmental service program offers many paradigm shifts for students by allowing them to participate in maintaining the health of pesantren residents who have previously appeared to disregard health protocols. It was carried out in three phases, namely education and outreach, training, and intensive mentoring from March to May 2021 at Darul Faqih Islamic Boarding School Malang. The survey results on students’ knowledge, attitudes and practices towards COVID-19 showed a good score with the correlation (R-square: P-Value) knowledge-attitude (0.167: 0.000), knowledge-practice (0.060: 0.000) and attitude-practice ( 0.051: 0.000). This community service program was carried out in collaboration with LP2M Universitas Negeri Malang, UPT Wagir Health Center, Polyclinic of Universitas Negeri Malang and the COVID-19 Task Force, Wagir District, Malang Regency. The Santri Husada Program has made a real contribution in suppressing the spread of COVID-19 in the Islamic boarding school environment and led it a tough Islamic boarding school area.

Abstract

Model for development of madrasah curriculum hadramaut in pondok pesantren darul faqih malang. This paper provides an overview of the model of Hadramaut Madrasah curriculum development in Darul Faqih Islamic boarding school Malang, starting from constructing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Hadramaut Madrasah curriculum, theoretically from the concept, to the Darul Faqih Islamic Boarding School. In general, the model of Hadramaut Madrasah curriculum development, which includes planning, implementation, and evaluation, is intended to be carried out in pesantren under the paying of its vision and mission. The Hadramaut education model is a harmonious and moderate education, so that when developed in Islamic boarding schools it can be said to be suitable and appropriate. Although there are many activities carried out in Islamic boarding schools, students can develop their abilities or potential and be bridged to continue their studies at Hadramaut

Abstract

This research aimed at identifying the Moslems character called Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaah an-Nahdliyah (Aswaja) to strengthen the Islamic moderation in Islamic Boarding School. Islamic moderation became an important topic in developing the understanding of diversity in Indonesia. The mixed-method study depended on quantitative and qualitative data sourced from the questionnaire comprising three domains of knowledge, attitude, and the practice of Islamic moderation and in-depth interview with the students, alumni, teachers, and the leaders of Islamic Boarding School. Based on the result of unpaired t-test, the study found out that significance for the knowledge was 0.80, for the attitude was 0.03, for the practice was 0.46, while the total reached 0.36. It also unveiled that it necessary to strengthen the materials of Aswaja in building Aswaja-based Moslems characters in Islamic boarding schools. This study identified eight characters of Aswaja Moslems as the source of material and curriculum development for Islamic Moderation in Islamic Boarding School, including (1) Islamic moderation guidance; (2) the maintenance of togetherness; (3) the acknowledgment of the authorization of fiqh schools; (4) the existence of bid’ah hasanah; (5) the loyal opposition to leaders; (6) the non-liberal method; (7) non-dominance of the truth; (8) the respect to the local wisdom under the standard of ushul fiqh. This study expected to embody the spirit of religious moderation in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract: This paper is aimed to revisit the existence terminology of Bid’ah Hasanah (Good Innovation) in the public and academic sphere as a counter discourse against the dominance of established meaning of Bid’ah which in terms of Islamic Sharia is interpreted as an act of misguidance (Bid’ah Dalalah). Counter discourse is a way of thinking that opposes an institutionalized discourse. In this context, we try to investigate the emergence of this term and describe how it is expressed as an opposing thought against the negative meaning of Bid'ah which was discursively long-established in the public and academic sphere by conducting the grounded approach. The data collected is taken from a mini survey and some specific discourses related to this topic such as the discussions in some chapters of the Islamic teaching textbook, and discourses from the online sources including social media and some websites affiliated with certain religious groups. The result shows that the terminology of Bid’ah Hasanah is emerged and echoed by traditional religious groups to label the non-exclusive worships (Ghairu Mahdhah) that originally don’t require any special rules in its implementation. According to them, this term is retrieved and interpreted from several Hadiths and the words of the Prophet’s companions. In the public and academic sphere, this term is still being roughly debated by some religious groups, mainly the Salafis and the traditionals, due to their differences in the methodology of meaning to this term. The Salafis prioritize the textual rigorous Sharia meaning contained in this term, whereas traditional parties put forward the literal and original meaning in understanding this term.

Abstract

Through the implementation of the Aswaja learning model in schools, this community service aims to develop Muslims with religious-nationalist personalities.It was carried out in three phases of activities, namely education & outreach, implementation & strengthening and intensive mentoring from March to May 2021 at SMP Darul Faqih Indonesia, Malang Regency. The results of the activity assessment showed a change in Aswaja's attitudes and practices in fostering religious-nationalist values in students. This also has implications for strengthening religious moderation in the school environment. The results of the correlation test of students' attitudes and practices showed a score (R-square: P-value) of 0.126: 0.000, which indicates that this activity has a significant impact. The implementation of the Aswaja learning model is aimed at providing a balanced understanding of religion and nationalism. Strengthening the understanding of religious moderation with a nationalism - religious spirit will be an important ingredient in the development of peace culture education-based schools in Indonesia

Abstract

Tulisan ini mencoba menjelaskan program edukasi sekolah berbasis peace education (PE) yang diprakarsai oleh tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat Universitas Negeri Malang dengan mitra majelis Musyawarah Kerja Kepala Sekolah (MKKS) Sub Rayon 33 Wagir Kabupaten Malang. Secara rinci, kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif yang bertujuan menanamkan nilai-nilai perdamaian dan semangat hidup berdampingan antar umat beragama, khususnya diantara sekolah yang beragam corak keagamaanya di Kecamatan Wagir. Program edukasi berbasis PE dilaksanakan melalui rangkaian kegiatan seminar, focus group discussion (FGD), hingga pelaksanaan langsung kepada siswa dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Program ini dilakukan dalam dua sesi utama, yakni kegiatan seminar dengan pembahasan tentang moderasi beragama dan FGD dengan fokus pada implementasinya. Dari kegiatan ini, dihasilkan sejumlah poin penting yang dapat dilakukan di sekolah dan kelas yakni membangun atmosfer atau budaya sekolah yang mendukung dengan mengapresiasi budaya yang berbeda, melakukan resolusi konflik, mendorong  partisipasi aktif dan kolaboratif, membangun sikap toleransi, dan membuat nilai-nilai agama menjadi pegangan kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa dalam menjalankan tugas di sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perceptions and responses of Islamic Religious Education teachers to educational policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of this study provide an overview of technical policy making in educational units. Government policy towards the implementation of Islamic education raises pros and cons in society. This study shows that Islamic religious education teachers in public schools and colleges have different responses to online learning. 70% of Islamic Religious Education teachers said that they agreed with government policies in an effort to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic. However, 24% of them said that this policy seemed forced on all sectors of education. The interesting thing revealed in this study is that Islamic Religious Education teachers have a high level of optimism towards the government regarding overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Abstract

This study aims to develop an Arabic conversation textbook at the Islamic Boarding School Themes For Students of Al Kamal Islamic Boarding School Blitar, East Java. The development is a solution of unavailability textbook to speak daily Arabic in Islamic boarding schools. This study uses the ADDIE development model. The subjects of the product trial were class 1D students at the Al Kamal Islamic Boarding School. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The result of this research is a daily Arabic conversation book entitled "Hiwaruna" for learning speaking skills at the Al Kamal Islamic Boarding School Blitar. This book contains themes that are closely related to daily life in Islamic boarding schools. The results of product validation from material and media experts obtained an average value of 82.50% with the information that it is very suitable for use in Arabic speaking learning at Islamic boarding schools.
