Abstract

A preliminary survey conducted by the author in early 2019 was randomly simple on farmer groups in the Village of Maharani District of Rumbai, each of 3 farmers, obtained information that farmers do not know and understand and apply OHS in their work. Farmers do not have work procedures, especially when using various types of agricultural equipment. Therefore this study aims to determine the source of work accident risk. Referring to the JSA AS / NZS: 4360 Risk Management concept and the FMEA method. The research design carried out was observational analytic. Data collection was obtained from observations and in-depth interviews. The results of observations and in-depth interviews with informants revealed five risks at each stage of the agricultural process, in this case, chili planting including the preparation of agricultural land with the risk of injury due to a sharp hoe component RPN 27 is at a Very High-risk level. The risk of itching and water lice at the stage of planting RPN 8 is a high-risk level, the risk of wounds caused by sickles when maintaining RPN 18 is a high-risk level. Being absorbed by chemicals when controlling RPN 18 levels of risk High and risk of being attacked by venomous animals RPN 8 Medium risk level in the harvest process, advice for farmer groups must be more active in raising awareness of OHS, and also for relevant agencies to pay attention to OHS especially health services and agriculture in the working area of ​​Rumbai Bukit District.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Lighting is the amount of irradiation that is in a work environment needed to carry out a job properly. Based on observations, the lighting intensity of the pharmacy room at Mesra Hospital in Kampar Regency was not bright enough. The purpose of this study was to determine the lighting intensity of the pharmacy room and the impact on workers at Mesra Hospital, Kampar Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Interviews and observations were conducted with 5 informants. The location of the study was conducted at Mesra Hospital, Kampar District in May-July 2020. The results showed that the local lighting in the pharmacy room of the Mesra Hospital, Kampar Regency, measurements of the lighting intensity in the pharmacy room were carried out at the work table. The results of measuring the intensity of lighting in the pharmacy room using local lighting methods obtained a value of 74.1 lux. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the lighting in the pharmacy room of Mesra Hospital in Kampar Regency has not met the standards of the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 7 of 2019 concerning Hospital Environmental Health. Less bright lighting results in complaints of eye fatigue in workers. The complaints of eye fatigue experienced by workers are in the form of pain around the eyes, dizziness, drowsiness and pain around the eyes. Abstract

One of the modes of transportation used by students in their daily activities is two-wheeled vehicles (motorized). From the observations in the field, there are still many students who do not understand properly how to drive a survivor or safety Riding. As a result there are many accidents caused by negligence of the motorcyclist himself, committing traffic violations such as not turning on the sein, riding a motorcycle at high speed, flocking with more than one passenger and not wearing a helmet. This shows that there is still a lack of understanding and knowledge of students towards riding safety.The purpose of this study is to know the relationship between Riding Condition, Riding Personality and Vehicle Condition to Safety Riding. The type of research used in this research is observational with a quantitative analytical approach with cross sectional research design. The population was studied as many as 914 students with a sample of 90 people. The sampling techniques used are in a simple random way. Data analysis using chi-square statistical test with degree of meaning (α)=0.05. Research shows that variables that have a relationship with Safety Riding are Riding Personality (p value = 0.015), vehicle Condition (p value 0.006). It is expected that students to behave safely (safety riding) on the road when driving a vehicle, students can become Role Mode in improving knowledge, as well as concern for driving safety to avoid traffic accidents.
