Abstract

The objective of this research are, 1) To analyze characteristic relation of condition macroeconomic on gross premium of general insurance in Indonesia. 2) To analyze the influence of condition of macroeconomic on gross premium of general insurance in Indonesia, with used linier simple regression and linier multiple regression model. The find result of this study as follow, 1) Generally, condition of macroeconomic have positive influnce on gross premium of general insurance in Indonesia. 2) Generally, condition of macroeconomc have strong and significant influence on gross premium of general insurance in Indonesia.Keywords: Gross Premium, General Insurance

Abstract

The study aims to find out the direct and indirect effect of education, health, government investment and private investment on productivity as well as the poverty level in South Sumatera. The study used secondary data of 2004-2005 published by the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK) and other institutions. It used Path Analysis. The Result of the study show that (1) education, health, and government investment did not directly influence the productivity in South Sumatra, while the private investment directly and positively influenced the productivity in South Sumatra, (2) education, government investment, and private investment did not directly influence the poverty level in South Sumatra, while the health and productivity directly and significantly but negatively influenced the poverty level in South Sumatra, (3) education, health, and government investment indirectly did not influence the poverty level through the productivity in South Sumatra, while the private investment indirectly have significant and negative impact on poverty level through productivity in South Sumatera.

Abstract

Current technological developments affecting the payment system. From Barter, Cash to non-cash payment. Nowadays, the most used non-cash payment instrument are Credit Card, Debit Card and E-Money. The use of this payment instrument make consumers easy to pay, thereby increasing the level of consumption. The objective of this study was to analyze the impact of the use of E-Money, Credit Cards and Debit Cards to the Velocity of Money in Indonesia. The data used is the number of transaction in 2010 to 2014. The analysis used was Johansen Co-integration Test to analyze the short-term effects and Error Correction Model to analyze the long term effects. The results of this study explains that the use of E-Money, Credit Cards and Debit Cards have long term effects, but there is no short-term effects on the Velocity of Money.
