Abstract

The background of this study is mathematics learning outcomes of junior high school students in agricultural areas are still low because they are less motivated to learn mathematics, so that is has an impact on their low learning outcomes. This study aims to find the relationship between musical intelligence and the enhancement of mathematical connection ability by applying Ethnomathematics and the Mozart Effect for increasing students’ motivation to learn mathematics. This study used a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design in grade 7 students at SMPN Bojongsoang 1, Kabupaten Bandung. The instruments used were the test of mathematical connection ability, musical intelligence questionnaire, and observation sheets. The results showed that: (1) there were differences in mathematical connection ability of students who received Ethnomathematics and the Mozart Effect learning with students who received direct learning; (2) musical intelligence has a positive impact on the enhancement of students' mathematical connection ability; and (3) students have a positive attitude towards learning with application of Ethnomathematics and the Mozart Effect, and more motivated to learn mathematics. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between musical intelligence and the enhancement of mathematical connection ability, and students are more motivated to learn mathematics. Implication of this research for future research and learning practice is that students' mathematical connection ability can be explored and improved in various ways, one of which is by applying Ethnomathematics and the Mozart Effect in mathematics learning, and can be influenced by many things, one of them is musical intelligence. Therefore, in future research, it would be recommended to study the relationship between musical intelligence and the enhancement of other mathematical abilities using Ethnomathematics and the Mozart Effect.

Abstract

Cooperative is a legally incorporated business organization, that built collectively by their member, and aim to fulfill their needs. New version of Cooperative is called New Generation Cooperative (NGC) that has characters as: NGC may issue shares, individuals may hold higher levels of equity through purchase of share, and membership may be limited to shareholders. Enterprise Architecture is the comprehensive conceptual design or blueprint of company and organization, which describes it’s the structures, function, and operations. The purpose of the research is to design the Enterprise Architecture for NGC. This NGC can be started as a low cost enterprise by implementing Open Business Model. The Open Business approach places value on transparency, stakeholder inclusion, and accountability. This research shall purpose the Technology part of Strategic Management, which can relate New Generation Cooperative Enterprise Architecture as new category for Open Business Model.

Abstract

This paper notes a finding from research on GeoGebra-assisted learning. This study used a pretest-postest design with a control group. The purpose of this study was to analyze students' mathematical reasoning abilities in the Transformation Geometry course. There are 24 research subjects. They are the fourth semester students of the mathematics education study program. The instruments used were student tests and non-tests. Based on the results of the data analysis, the researcher found: there was a significant increase in mathematical reasoning abilities and the disposition of students who were given learning using GeoGebra software. Then, the improvement was reported to be better than the conventional class in all categories. Other results also show a relationship between mathematical reasoning abilities and student dispositions in the medium category.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi berbasis android telah merambah ke sektor non-bisnis diantaranya sektor sosial dan masyarakat, hal ini dibuktian dengan dimilikinya setidaknya satu alat komunikasi untuk setiap orang. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi berbasis android penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempermudah siswa, orang tua dan guru dalam mengakses informasi khususnya dibagian penilaian. Dalam pengembangan sistem ini penulis menggunakan tools Android Studio sedangkan untuk basis data menggunakan MySQL. Metodologi pengembangan sistem yang penulis gunakan adalah Rational Unified Process (RUP), terdapat beberapa tahapan dalam metodologi ini yaitu Business Modeling, Requirements, Analysis & Design, Implementation, Test, Deployment, Configuration & Change Management, Project Management, Enviroment. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan metode Action Research yaitu melakukan observasi, wawancara serta studi pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat diperhatikan bahwa Aplikasi pengolahan nilai laporan siswa berkala dengan berbasis android merupakan salah satu solusi yang dapat diterapkan untuk mempermudah orang tua, siswa, dan guru dalam mendapatkan informasi mengenai nilai laporan prestasi siswa secara berkala.

Abstract

Data kependudukan di RW04 Cipamokolan masih belum sepenuhnya diperbarui, data kependudukan terakhir yaitu pada tahun 2018. Dikarenakan adanya pandemi COVID-19 pihak desa mendapat kesulitan untuk memperbarui data kependudukan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, Tim Dosen Pengabdian pada Masyarakat UNLA di minta oleh pihak RW untuk membuat sarana pemutakhiran data kependudukan berbasis online. Untuk pemutakhiran data, kami membuat google form untuk mendata kependudukan yang dapat di isi oleh masing masing ketua RT. Dengan begitu pihak desa akan mendapatkan data dari google form tersebut dan diharapkan selalu terbaharui setiap bulannya.

Abstract

MyBatis merupakan salah satu framework didalam rumpun Database Bridging Layer dalam lingkungan pemrograman java, MyBatis Framework pertama kali diinisiasi pada 19 Mei 2010 yang merupakan forking dari generasi sebelumnya yaitu iBatis Framework yang dimulai pada tahun 2001. Kemudian seiring perkembangan teknologi MyBatis berevolusi menjadi dapat mampu menyimpan temporary data sehingga dapat meringankan jalur proses read write terhadap harddisk yang sebelumnya membutuhkan beberapa tahap menjadi lebih pendek. Adapun penelitian yang dilakukan adalah mencoba kinerja dari algoritma yang sudah build-in dengan teknologi cache engine didalam MyBatis Framework yaitu LRU, FIFO, SOFT dan WEAK, serta dipadukan dengan MySQL database sebagai data storage, kemudian menggunakan Javascript Object Notation atau JSON Taglib yang ditanamkan didalam Spring Framework untuk operasi create data, read data, update data serta delete data didalam pemrogramanan lingkungan Java yang biasa di singkat dengan istilah CRUD. Kemudian dengan menggunakan incremental loop testing, penulis mencoba melakukan pengujian terhadap 7200 data sampel terhadap operasi CRUD tersebut bergantian terhadap Algoritma Cache Engine yaitu LRU, FIFO, SOFT dan WEAK. Dengan penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi acuan pengambilan keputusan para programmer dalam implementasi teknik pemrograman, selain itu menjadi acuan komponen untuk penelitian selanjutnya.
