Abstract

Observasi data hasil belajar USBN SD/MI sekecamatan Nongsa Batam rata-rata ialah 59,51 masih belu memuaskan karena belum memenuhi kriteria minimal ataupun cukup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi dan budaya kerja guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa SD Negeri di Gugus 2 Kecamatan Nongsa Kota Batam. Pendekatan yang digunakan ialah penelitian kuantitatif. Seluruh guru SD Negeri di Gugus 2 Kecamatan Nongsa dengan total populasi 76, sampel dipilih secara random, ditetapkan 62 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode penyebaran kuesioner. Hasil investigasi memperlihatkan: (1) keahlian guru berpengaruh secara positif dan bermaknabagihasil belajar murid SD Negeri di gugus 2 Kecamatan Nongsa Kota Batam sebesar 0,390 (39%), maka H01 ditolak dan Ha1 diterima; (2) budaya kerja guru berpengaruh secara positif dan bermakna bagi hasil belajar murid SD Negeri di gugus 2 Kecamatan Nongsa Kota Batam sebesar 0,374 (37,4%), maka H02 ditolak dan Ha2 diterima; (3) keahlian dan budaya kerja guru berpengaruh positif dan bermakna secara serentak bagi hasil belajar siswa SD Negeri di gugus 2 Kecamatan Nongsa Kota Batam sebesar 0,501 (50,1%), dengan demikian H03 ditolak dan Ha3 diterima. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan adanya pengaruh kompetensi dan budaya kerja guru secara parsial maupun serentak terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik

Abstract

This study is intended to analyze the effect of the application of the model Problem-Based Learning on student learning motivation and improvement of learning outcomes of Natural Sciences grade VI SD Group III Sekupang, Batam. The variables studied are the application of problem based learning, student motivation, and improvement of learning outcomes. The research method used a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with pretes-postes control group. Sampling of research with Purposive Sampling technique, namely 30 student from SDN 011 Sekupang as an experimental class, and 30 student from SDN 012 Sekupang as  a control class. Research instruments use learning outcomes tests, motivation questionnaires, and observation sheets. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistic, and regression. From the results of Wilcoxon analysis, it is obtained that there is a difference in posttest learning results between the control class and the experimental class with a probability value (p) of 0.004 <0.05. So it can be concluded that the application of "Problem-Based Learning has an effect on student learning outcomes. There is no difference in student motivation in the application of problem based learning model with probability value (p) 0.194> 0.05

Abstract

This study is intended to analyze the effect of leadership style and work motivation on teacher performance at the Charitas educational foundation. The variables studied were leadership style (X1), work motivation (X2), and performance (Y). The method used in this research is a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Sampling using stratified random sampling as many as 53 respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique uses descriptive statistics, and inferential statistics with multiple linear regression. From the results of multiple regression analysis, the performance equation (Y) = 35.003 – 0.060X1 + 0.674X2 +. From the results of multiple regression analysis, it can be seen that the work motivation variable has a greater value in influencing employee performance. From the results of the F test, Fcount > Ftable is 15.492 > 2.77. It can be concluded that the variables of leadership style, and work motivation, simultaneously and significantly affect the performance of teachers at the Charitas Education Foundation. From the results of the t test, it can be concluded that the work motivation variable has a significant effect on performance with a significant level of 0.05, while leadership style has no effect on performance. The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination of 0.362 or 36.2% of the leadership style variable, and work motivation can explain the variation of the performance variable, while the remaining 63.8% is explained by other variables outside of this study.
