Abstract

The problems raised in this study are: (1) What is the special relationship between landlords and rice cultivators in giving tribute in Leguderu Village, Boawae District, Nagekeo Regency? (2) What is the form of tribute given by cultivators to landlords in Leguderu Village?. The objectives of the study were: (1) To find out the special relationship between landlords and rice cultivators in giving tribute in Leguderu Village, Boawae District, Nagekeo Regency. (2) To find out the form of tribute given by cultivators to mosalaki in Leguderu Village, Boawae District, Nagekeo Regency. In this study the author uses the theory of symbolic interactionism. The approach used is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were: (1) Observation, (2) Interview, (3) Documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study were: Data reduction, data presentation and verification or conclusion drawing. Based on the results of this study, the research can conclude that the special relationship between cultivators and landlords in giving tribute is a form of symbolic interaction. By giving tribute, friendship and kinship relations will be maintained between the cultivators and landlords. And advice to the younger generation to always understand and appreciate the land that has been given by the landlord

Abstract

The results of the study show that: The socio-economic life of the refiners moke community as a distinctive feature of cultural heritage, the moke drink is also one of the resources that can increase the economic needs of the community, although the results of moke distillation do not fully meet there is also an element of art. Art that comes from how the community how to concoct the moke into a typical preparation, the precesed society in the from of ancestral beverages. The impact of this moke distillation contributes substantially to social change and can elevate people’s live to a better standard of living.

Abstract

Talking about the belis, which is studied from the word alone, it means that belis is a dowry with the size of payment, and usually depends on bargaining. Adat or lasim are called rules that have existed and been carried out since time immemorial in ways and customs which are used as a from of cultural ideas which consist of cultural values, norms, laws and rules which are related to one another into one system. The study of thoughts about Quoa Vadis Belis brings us to one thing that deserves a deeper study where you or we go and find out what belis means according to Sikka Maumere. The main problem examined in this study is how to calculate Belis and how it impacts society in changing the life of socio-cultural economy. The objectives of this research are; first to know the concept of belis, second; integrity and economics, third is how the perspective of the older and younger generations in placing belis in the Sikka Maumere community. The method used in this research descriptive qualitative research. Techniques and data analysis are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The result of the research show that belis in the Sikka Maumere community is not only entrenched but also an integral part or all the parts that need to be a complete and perfect complement to a socio-economic and cultural approach pattern.

Abstract

The aims of this study are: 1) To find out the early history of the emergence of Blidit hot springs. 2) To find out the condition of tourist facilities in the Blidit hot spring tourist attraction. 3) To find out the public's view on the potential utilization of the Blidit hot spring tourist attraction. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The results showed that: the early history of the emergence of Blidit hot springs was first found by the Blidit people who wanted to go hunting in the forest and one of them stepped on the water and felt the water was hot but they thought the water came from Mount Egon because Mount Egon is a mountain fiery. The water emerged from the ground through cracked soil and it is said that at that time there was a person named gahu which means heat was cut and his body was stored in the water and at that time also in the bathing place there was a guard and when he wanted to visit that place he had to many people and keep things in that place such as roko, money and betel nut when in that place, visitors should not utter harsh words. The condition of tourist facilities for tourist attractions, Blidit hot spring baths, is classified as not good. Judging from the condition or state of the hot springs, there are still very few facilities and are not cared for and kept clean where visitors still use private vehicles and access roads that still use paths that are still in the form of soil and rocks.

Abstract

Realizing the existence of the Fai Walu Ana Halo social classification, which literally means orphans and poor widows as a designation that has existed since the people of Lio Ende are familiar with local traditions and culture. This identity proves that the classification of social status is inherent in us since birth and is still valid today. Social identity can be related to the study of social stratification, namely the difference in population into social classes in stages, namely high class, middle class and low class. Fai Wal Ana Halo is a term for groups in the Lio Ende Ethnic community in cultured society, which means they are always cared for by Mosalaki Puu or the rulers of land and territories. They are cared for and get land for farming and plantations to support their economic life and land for housing.

Abstract

Melemahnya rasa memiliki sejarah, belajar dari sejarah, dan kurangnya perhatian terhadap pengetahuan keberadaan objek-objek sejarah adalah rangkaian permasalahan kesejarahan dikalangan generasi muda. Lawatan Sejarah Daerah merupakan momentum yang sangat baik untuk merajut simpul-simpul kesejarahan. Merajut ingatan kolektif bangsa melalui penanaman nilai-nilai sejarah kepada generasi muda lewat belajar langsung dari sumber-sumber sejarah yang ada di daerahnya. Inspirasi atas prestasi dan sumbangsih dari melawat ke situs-situs bersejarah adalah merawat memori generasi muda, membela dan memperjuangkan harapan-harapan yang baik bagi genarasi muda, dan terus memperjuangkannya pembelajaran sejarah yang aktif, kreatif, inovatif dan menyenangkan. Suatu visi dari pembelajaran sejarah yang diusahakan secara sadar bukan hanya impian semata. Ende menjadi bagian penting dalam sejarah perjalanan bangsa ini, sebuah kota bersejarah bagi sang Proklamator, Ir. Soekarno. Tempat dimana beliau merenungkan Pancasila, bergaul dan mengambil nilai-nilai dari kearifan lokal masyarakat Ende itu sendiri. Melalui Lawatan Sejarah daerah ini, bermuara pada belajar dari sejarah dalam konteks penanaman nilai-nilai sejarah itu sendiri.

Abstract

This research discusses the art of Ikat weaving, women, the meaning, and context of changes in the social cultural life of the people of Sikka Maumere Flores, NTT. The study uses qualitative descriptive methods in order to answer all the main problems in research using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The main problem is the lack of actualization of growth and changes in Ikat Weaving Arts activities and contributions to society. The aim of the research is to find positive solutions for historical, socio-economic, and cultural change in Sikka Maumere. Sikka women are used as symbols who have a sense of artistry and are always articulate in weaving activities, showing a partner system that conveys the truth of the Flores tribe as an integral part of the Indonesian nation, directed at partners and co-workers with local cultural identity. The results of the research are significant: Women have had a positive impact on changes in Sikka Maumere Women's and Weaving Arts activities as an effort to preserve and develop a culture that adopts a global mindset but still acts to maintain local wisdom.
