Abstract

As the main pest in rice crop, the rice field rats have to be controlled to anticipate yield loss. A specific study was conducted in ICRR field station in the period of August 2007-August 2008 within a 150 ha of intensified cropping area. The aim of this research was to study the population growth of the rice field rat in this intensified cropping system. The planting date was scheduled in such a way, so there will be three times of harvesting within a year.  Rat population sampling was performed by using Trap Barrier System (TBS) and Linear Trap Barrier System (LTBS). Seven units of TBS (25 m x 25 m) were set randomly either in their main habitats or the edge of the rice cropping area. A single unit of 10,000 m LTBS supported with 150 traps was erected surrounding all through the area. A regular daily counting was done to estimate the rat population based on the number of rat captured from TBS and LTBS. The level of rat damage and yield loss were other variables have been recorded. The results depicted that there was a significant increase of rat population growth which started from the first planting season through the next seasons (Planting season-2 and planting season-3). The rat captured from TBS increased significantly from 224 individuals during the planting season-1 to 492 and 677 animals during the next two planting seasons, respectively. The same figures were also performed from the rat captured from the LTBS, which increased from 429 rats in the plating season-1 to 1,423 and 1,733 individuals in the planting season-2 and 3, respectively. Rat attack within the three planting seasons were classified as light damage (<20%) and the average of rice yield was around 5.54-7.83 t/ha.

Abstract

Perkembangan penduduk ternyata berpengaruh dengan masalah kemacetan lalu -lintas terutama pada persimpangan - persimpangan dengan banyak kendaraan yang beroperasi dijalan raya sehingga mengganggu kelancaran lalu-lintas. Kondisi yang seperti ini membutuhkan pengaturan lalu-lintas, dalam pengamatan dan analisis mengenai laju jalur yang padat pada empat jalur dengan menggunakan gerakan tangan petugas Polantas (Polisi lalu-lintas) yang dirasa masih kurang efektif. Pengendali yang digunakan kurang efisien dalam pengoperasiannya, sehingga sering terjadi gangguan pada traffic light. Pengaturan Traffic Light menggunakan PLC yang dilengkapi sistem bahasa Logic, Digital, Timmer, Delay, dan Relay dan tidak membutuhkan piranti tambahan yang begitu besar dalam komponen, berbeda dengan pengendali lain masih menggunakan sistem ADC. Sistem pengoperasiannya sangat fleksibel dan mudah dalam pembuatan program bisa dilakukan pada software dengan menggunakan Logosoft, atau langsung pada PLC-nya. Teknologi pengendali PLC bisa mengatur semua jalur Traffic Light sesuai dengan kebutuhan, sehingga kemacetan tidak terjadi pada jalur utama.

Abstract

Working Principles DC Power Supply - is an energy source for a computer to operate. The power supply changes the current from AC 110 volts to 60Hz or 220 volts 50Hz to DC + 3.3 volts, +5 volts and + 12 volts. Power Supply must carry a good and stable DC power supply so the system can run well. Tools running on the voltage supplied by the onboard voltage regulator, for example RIMM and RIMM require 2.5 volts while AGP AX and cards require 1.5 volts, both supplied by the onboard regulator of the motherboard. In addition to supplying power, the Power Supply can prevent the computer from starting until a Power Supply voltage exists at a predetermined area. Power Good is a sign of a special test that is sent to the motherboard as an active signal on the computer, usually marked by a green light when the power button is pressed. The current issued by the Power Supply is a direct current (DC), power output is composed of 200 watts, 250 watts, 300 watts, 350 watts, 400 watts to 600 watts. Abstract

Motivasi belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas III di SDN Taman Baru, SDN Banjarmasin, dan SDN Gedong Harta tergolong rendah sehingga mengakibatkan rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa. Hal ini, diduga karena bahasa Indonesia dianggap sebagai pelajaran yang mudah tetapi membosankan sehingga siswa tidak termotivasi untuk mendengarkan penjelasan guru. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas III di ketiga SD tersebut adalah Media Gambar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh penggunaan media gambar terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas III SD Negeri di Penengahan, Lampung Selatan. Pemecahan masalah dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang menerapkan konsep KTSP . Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media gambar lebih efektif jika dikombinasikan dengan metode pembelajaran lain.

Abstract

AbstrakSistem informasi yang sedang berjalan dan hasil perancangan yang baru dari perancangan Sistem Informasi Perkuliahan Online Pada Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro Kota Metro yang menggunakan database, dan menghasilkan sebuah antarmuka perkuliahan antara dosen dan mahasiswa.Secara garis besar penulis dapat mengemukakan bahwa sebagian sistem informasi yang sedang berjalan belum cukup baik, karena terdapat kekurangan dalam sistem tersebut, yaitu sistem siakad dan e-learning yang tidak menjadi satu, sehingga dinilai kurang efisien dalam sistem perkuliahan sebuah universitas. Penelitian menggunakan metode pengolahan data berupa observasi, interview, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan metode perancangan aplikasi menggunakan Bagan Alir Dokumen, Data Flow Diagram, Entity Relationship Diagram. Software pendukung dalam pembuatan website ini ialah adobe dreamweaver cs 6, bahasa pemrograman php dan database mariaDB.Sistem Informasi Perkuliahan Online menghasilkan rancangan berupa rancangan database/basis data yaitu tabel perkuliahan, dosen, mahasiswa, status, forum. Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) dan Relasi antar tabel. Rancangan antar muka yaitu login, halaman utama, halaman mahasiswa, halaman forum, halaman nilai dan halaman status.Dari perancangan aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat memperbaiki sistem perkuliahan yang berjalan pada Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Indonesia adalah negara yang memiliki banyak variasi satwa yang tersebar di seluruh kepulauan dan memiliki keanekaragaman yang berbeda-beda. Namun, pada kenyataannya, kekayaan ini tidak diimbangi dengan kepedulian dan keingintahuan masyarakat mengenai keberadaan dan kelestariannya. Hal ini dapat disebabkan karena media yang menampung informasi satwa ini sangatlah sedikit. Jika hal ini dibiarkan berlarut-larut, maka lama kelamaan  keberadaan satwa tersebut akan menjadi punah. Dengan demikian diperlukan sebuah media yang mampu merekam data sebaran satwa yang di lindungi di Indonesia. Data satwa ini dapat berupa nama ilmiah dan lokasi satwa tersebut dipelihara. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini mengimplementasikan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) berbasis Google API sebagai media yang mampu mendata sebaran satwa yang dilindungi oleh pemerintah Indonesia. Adanya SIG yang dapat merepresentasikan sebaran data satwa dalam bentuk peta dapat memudahkan pengaksesan informasi dan menampilkan lokasi mengenai sebaran satwa langka di Indonesia. SIG yang dibangun dalam penelitian ini memiliki tiga user yaitu administrator, lembaga konservasi yang berperan sebagai kontributor, dan masyarakat sebagai pengunjung web. Fitur yang dimiliki oleh SIG ini antara lain adalah fitur pencarian informasi satwa, pencarian lokasi satwa langka, dan penanda lokasi pada map.Kata kunci: Google API, Satwa Langka, Sistem Informasi Geografis. ABSTRACT Indonesia is a country that has a lot of variety of animals. In fact, they are scattered throughout the islands and has a big diversity in them. However, the wildlife animals were not a concern of the public at all. It can be caused by media that holds the information of this animal is not well. If this is allowed to drag on, then over time the number of these animals will become extinct. Because of this, it is needed to build a media that capable to recording data or information about the distribution of wildlife in Indonesia. This information can be their scientific name and where they lived. Therefore, this study implements a Geographic Information System (GIS) based Google API as a media that is able to record the distribution of species protected by the Indonesian government. GIS can presents the distribution of animals in maps. The SIG can be used by three users, that is administrator, conservation organizations as a contributor, and society as a web visitor. The features that we can use are searching wildlife information, searching location of endangered species, and marking location on the maps.Keywords: Geographic Information Systems, Google APIs, Rare Animals.

Abstract

This research aimed to study spatio temporal behavior of the female ricefield rat, Rattus argentiventer, including home range, range spans, habitat use and daily activity. Twelve rats were released in two locations of a ricefield area from June 11th until July 24th, 2001. The movement of each rat was monitored using radio-tracking three times a day. The result was used for calculating home range size, range spans, habitat used and daily activities of female field-rats, using the computer program Ranges V. The results showed that the average female ricefield-rat’s home ranges and range spans were 0.84  0.16 Ha and 184.54  22.7m respectively. During daylight, the rats spent 82%, 16% and 2% of their activity living in dikes, in villages and in ricefield respectively. On the contrary, during the night 95%, 3% and 2% of the rats were active in the ricefield, villages and dikes respectively.

Abstract

Modeling 2D seismic wave propagation using spectral element method on MPI-GPU clusters has been implemented and can complete the problem of elastic-poro elastic medium model. Free surface boundary conditions and absorption layer will use the CPML method. Seismic wave propagation simulation in hybrid elastic-poroelastic medium has been carried out on hydrocarbon reservoir models with anticline type. In reservoir rocks that have a poro elastic medium, there will be a fast and slow P wave. While in non-reservoir rocks that have elastic medium, only P fast waves is observed. The computation time for an anticline type reservoir model with dimensions of 1 km x 1.5 km using MPI 4 nodes cluster with 48 CPU cores is 3 minutes 48 second.

Abstract

Surabaya Kenjeran Beach, as a part of Eastern coastal area at East Java, in addition to has function as a sea recreation (a tour) place and fishing, it also estuary for community channel and rivers from city. The condition of Surabaya Kenjeran Beach effected by Hg pollution, had observed by previous researcher, they suggested that water, sediment, and fishes from Kenjeran Beach were already dirtied by Hg at dangerous level. Hg that can be found in industrial waste generally has a inorganic form, but in the water environment, inorganic Hg change into organic Hg by microorganism (for example, methyl Hg) which is more toxic. Fisherman communities is one of the group which have a risk getting effect of methyl Hg, because they usually eat fish from sea that dirtied by Hg.This research plan is case control, in order to studying relations between consumed sea fish and degree of Hg in fisherman’s hair, measuring average degree of Hg in their hair and than compare it with limit value, and also studying healthy disorder sigh that likely appear as a result of Hg poisoning. This research took place at Kenjeran district, Bulak sub district, Surabaya. The number of samples for group who affected by Hg are 70 person and controlled group are 45 person. Respondent’s hair (research subject) was taken and then observed by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) No Flame.As result, at the fisherman group who consumed sea fish at average 99.11 g/day, they have degree of Hg in their hair is 256.086 ppb. There are no data of consume sea fish at that time for the controlled group, average degree of Hg in their hair is 0.511 ppb. Healthy disorder sigh (subjective symptoms) which is suspicious as a result of Hg poisoning at this research are kidney, lever disorder, headache, painful, tremor, bleeding gums, and visual disorder.Conclusion is, statistically there is significantly relations between consumed sea fish and degree of Hg in hair, and average degree of Hg in the effected group’s hair is higher than the controlled group, but it’s not over limit value that recommended by National Research Council (NRC) is 12 ppm, also there is significantly relations between degree of Hg in hair and healthy disorder sigh (subjective symptoms).
