Abstract

The elderly is the last phase in human life, where every aged person will definitely pass through this phase. As we age, all organ functions have reached their maximum peak so what is happening now is a decline in organ function. There are many elderly people in Indonesia who experience nutritional fulfillment disorders who experience malnutrition (BMI 16.5-18.49%) as much as 31% and more nutrition 1.8%. Nutrition is less often caused by social and economic problems and also due to disease disorders, if the consumption of calories is too low than needed then the body weight is less than normal. The purpose of this study, to determine the amount of BMI and the type of nutritional intake in the elderly. The research design is quantitative descriptive. The study was conducted by measurements and observations made in one time with the inclusion criteria are the elderly who can be invited to communicate, using a design on the variable Screening Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA). The results of the study were obtained from 18 samples experiencing malnutrition and 20 samples of risk of experiencing malnutrition, while for the measurement of BMI from the elderly obtained values ​​of 0 = BMI <19; 19 people, value 1 = BMI 19-21; 9 people, value 2 = BMI 21- 23; 6 people, value 3 = BMI> 23; 4 people.

Abstract

Background; toddlers are a group of children whose age ranges from 0-5 years. The toddler period is an important period in the process of human development because of development fast. Method; Research design using cross-sectional quantitative research, the number of samples obtained 63 respondents under five from four posyandu in the village of Rumpa. The research was conducted on 1 August - 5 September 2020 in the village of Rumpa, Mapilli sub-district, Polewali Mandar district. Result; development of children in the Posyandu in hamlet 1, 98% normal, 2% doubtful, hamlet 2, 82.5% doubtful, 14.5% normal, hamlet 3, 65% normal, 35% doubtful, hamlet 4, 85% doubtful, 15% normal. Conclusion; The growth and development of toddlers who often do posyandu have normal results, while toddlers who do not or do not do posyandu have abnormal growth and development

Abstract

Elderly according to WHO is a person entering the age of 60 years and over. The increase in chronic diseases is most in the elderly population who require routine and long-term care to be appropriate if the care is carried out based on Homecare Sidodadi, Wonomulyo district, Polewali Mandar district, West Sulawesi province. This research method (mixed methods) with a questionnaire research instrument there are several questions about daily living (ADL) activities. The population is 247 elderly and a sample of 2 people with non-potential elderly inclusion criteria (bedrest). The research was carried out on May 25 to June 7 2021. The results showed that with the homecare service, muscle movement exercises, mobilization, physical exercise, and ROM positions in 2 respondents who had impaired physical mobility from 2 nonpotential respondents became 1 (50%) elderly potential and 1 (50%) of the other elderly become cared for elderly.

Abstract

Based on the ministry of Health or the ministry of health (2019), indonesia is starting to enter a period of anging populaation, where there is an increase in life expectancy followed by an increase in the number of elderly people. In indonesia , there is an increase in the number of elderly people from 18 milion people ( 7.56%) in 2010, to 25.9 milion people (9.7%) in 2019, and can be expected to cantinue to increase where in 2035 to 48.2 milion people (15,77%). This studay aims to add insight and deepen knowledge, especially in the field , of elderly nutrition and can examine the extent to which the theory excamine the extent to which the theory obatained and its application in people’s lives in sidodadi village, the method in this study is an observational analytic study using a cross sectional approach. Cross sectional appreach is a type of research that emphasizes the measurement time or data observstion at a time. (Ringer, 2015) based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the number of respondents with female gender is 13 people (56.5%) and the number of men is less than 10 people (43.4%).

Abstract

Immunization is one way to actively increase a person's immunity against antigens so that when they are exposed to similar antigens, disease will not occur. The high infant and under-five mortality rate in Indonesia causes a decline in the degree of public health, one of the efforts to overcome this problem is the complete basic immunization program for infants and toddlers. The type of research used is descriptive research method. This research method is a study conducted to describe or describe phenomena that occur in society. This research aims to describe the mother's knowledge about basic immunization at the age of 0-12 months in Rumpa village, Mapilli sub-district. The results of the study showed that most of the respondents had very good knowledge, 50% (15 respondents), but those who had sufficient knowledge, 33% (10 respondents), and had less knowledge, 17% (5 people). Factors that support the knowledge of respondents is the level of education of respondents is the average level of education of respondents SMK/equivalent 50%, SMP 33%, and SD 17%.

Abstract

Covid-19 or severe acute respiratory syndrome corona virus 2 (sars-cov-2) is a virus attacking the respiratory system. Corona virus can cause disorders in the respiratory system, acute pneumonia, to acute virus syndrome. Cov-2) which is more known with the corona virus is a new type of coronavirus that is transmitted to humans. This virus cannot attack anyone, both babies, children, adults, elderly, pregnant women, or breastfeeding mothers. Death rate also still continue to happen even in balanced with the number of patient currency. The world health problem that is currently in the spotlight and is very important to get the attention of health scientists and the general public is a disease caused by the corona virus. This research contains compliance with the use of masks for the prevention of COVID-19 at the YPPP Wonomulyo Akper campus, Polewali Mandar Regency, which is located in the eastern part of the Sidodadi Village area. The purpose of this study was to find out about covid 19 and its prevention, to get appropriate information regarding student compliance regarding the use of masks that are good and correct for preventing covid 19 at the YPPP Wonomulyo Akper campus. The method used is a descriptive survey with a cross sectional study approach. This research was conducted door to door involving 40 samples with the results obtained as follows. The average score who compliance with the use of mask are 33 respondents (82.5%) and 7 respondents who do not compliance (17.5%).
