Abstract

Perencanaan Strategis Teknologi Informasi merupakan turunan dari Rencana Strategis (Renstra) sebuah institusi. Tujuan dari riset ini adalah menemukan kebutuhan Sistem Informasi dan Teknologi Informasi (SI/TI) untuk Institusi Politeknik dengan metode studi kasus terhadap Renstra Politeknik Negeri Jakarta (PNJ). Riset diawali dengan analisis lingkungan bisnis aksternal dan internal PNJ guna menentukan five forces model dan critical success faktors institusi. Selanjutnya adalah analisis lingkungan aksternal dan internal SI/TI guna mengetahui trend teknologi dunia dan current application porfolio institusi. Tahap berikutnya adalah proses strategi (SI, TI, dan manajemen SI/TI. Tahap akhir adalah menentukan aplikasi-aplikasi SI/TI masa depan politeknik. Hasil yang dicapai adalah rekomendasi portofolio aplikasi SI/TI yang seharusnya dimiliki PNJ.

Abstract

To maintaining the sustainability of its activities, the Polytechnic should take steps of reengineering. This research intends to interpret the use of information technology (IT) as enabler steps. The method used of this research is a case studiy of PS.Education Energy Engineering at the Polytechnic. The research methodology was adopted from a combination of several concepts and arguments to the researchers / professionals. The study conducted by literature study that begins with recognizing the power of IT and be able to find the academic requirements for conformance to the problem can be solved by such capabilities. After assessing their performance, the framework concludes with an action plan. Research conclusions are several technologies that can provide high added value to the academic core Polytechnic Education. Keywords: IT as an enabler of change; Reengineering; Academic core. Abstrak Demi menjaga keberlanjutan kegiatannya, Politeknik selayaknya mengambil langkah reengineering. Riset ini bermaksud menafsirkan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi (TI) sebagai enabler langkah tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus terhadap PS. Teknik Energi di Pendidikan Politeknik. Metodologi penelitian diadopsi dari kombinasi beberapa konsep dan argumen para peneliti/profesional. Kajian dilakukan melalui studi literatur yang dimulai dengan mengenali daya mampu TI dan menemukan kesesuaiannya terhadap masalah kebutuhan akademik yang dapat dipecahkan oleh kemampuan tersebut. Setelah menilai performanya, framework diakhiri dengan sebuah rencana aksi. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah beberapa teknologi yang mampu memberikan nilai tambah tinggi terhadap akademik core Pendidikan Politeknik. Kata Kunci: TI sebagai enabler perubahan; Reengineering; Akademik core.

Abstract

An acceptable reason is needed for choosing a religious figure to be researched, especially by users of the latest technology who have different perspectives. This paper aims to describe the steps to change the Google Trends function into a ranking tool for the level of popularity of Ustaz or Ustazah figures in cyberspace and then use it as material for further studies. The study began by searching for their names on Google Search using search queries: 'Ustaz' and 'Ustazah'. Directly, the first five names that appear are entered into the Google Trends app. Each name that has the lowest average graph among the five would be replaced by the next names, one by one. The name would be retained if the graph was higher and be ignored if it was lower. Thence, the ranking of Ustaz or Ustazah with the most sought-after information in cyberspace is generated. Tactical steps to find out how online users were interested in information (including dawah) from Ustaz or Ustazah were described in detail at the end of this paper.
