Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) wawasan kevokasionalan (pemahaman tentang SMK sebagai pendidikan dunia kerja (X1), pemahaman jenis-jenis program keahlian (X2), pemahaman dunia kerja (X3), layanan bimbingan konseling(X6)), lingkungan belajar (X4), Potensi daerah (X5), dan latar belakang sosial ekonomi orang tua (X7) siswa SMP kelas IX terhadap minat melanjutkan di SMK; (2) pengaruh wawasan kevokasionalan siswa SMP kelas IX  (pemahaman tentang SMK sebagai pendidikan dunia kerja (X1), pemahaman jenis-jenis program keahlian (X2), pemahaman duni kerja (X3), layanan bimbingan konseling(X6)), lingkungan belajar (X4), Potensi daerah (X5), dan latar belakang sosial ekonomi orang tua (X7) siswa SMP kelas IX terhadap minat (Y) melanjutkan di SMK. Penelitian merupakan penelitian survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif berjenis asosiasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) variabel X­1, X­2, X­3,X5,X­6cenderung mendekati kategori tinggi dengan nilai persentase secara berurutan 75%, 72,23%, 71,72%, 71,89%, 72,46%, dan variabel X4, X7 cenderung mendekati kategori rendah dengan nilai persentase secara berurutan 62,09%, 56,51%; (2) variabel X­1, X­2, X­3,X4, X­5,X­6, ­X7 ada pengaruh terhadap variabel Y dengan nilai koefisien korelasi secara berurutan 0.504, 0,590, 0,837, 0,178, 0,374, 0,706, 0,178 dan secara bersama-sama X1,X2,X3,X4,X5,X6,X7 terhadap Y ada pengaruh dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,767.Kata Kunci: wawasan kevokasionalan, pemahaman, minat.

Asian J Agric 2: 39-43. During a volcanic eruption, volcanic ash spreads over an extensive area, causes environmental disturbances, and thus, should be disposed afar from settlements. On the other hand, volcanic ash is useful in urban areas where pot-planting is often lack soil medium. However, the utilization of volcanic ash as direct planting medium has many obstacles due to its characteristics such as the acidic, nitrogen nutrients rareness, compressed and dull to water. Hence, to be ready to use, it should be improved by using soil amendment. This study used charcoal husk combined with compost as the soil amendment. The purpose of this study was to use the volcanic ash as the planting medium, by obtaining a proper dose of volcanic ash and the soil amendments for the growth and yield of curly lettuce. The experimental design applied in this study was the complete randomized design (CRD) with three replications. The first factor was the 5 levels of charcoal husk (on volcanic ash) doses, namely 0.30; 0.40; 0.50; 0.60; and 0.70. The second was the ratio between the media and the 3 levels of urban waste compost doses, namely: 3:1; 2:1 and 1:1, resulting in 5 x 3 total combinations with three replications. The plant growth and yield data results were analyzed by using the variance analysis and continued with Duncan Multiple tests (Duncan Multiple Range Test). The results showed that when used as the sole planting medium, the volcanic ash could not support the growth of lettuce plants. The evidence was shown from the same size and weight of the curly lettuce after the age of 35 days (5 g/plant). The utilization of husk and urban waste compost treatment showed significant growth rise. The combination of volcanic ash and soil amendments showed that the best effect on the growth and yield of curly lettuce was from M3K3 treatment at the dose of 25% volcanic ash, 25% charcoal husk and 50% urban waste compost (60 g/plant).

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur dari berbagai sumber yang membahas model Pembelajaran vokasional di SMK. Studi literatur ini meneliti model pembelajaran vokasional di SMK dikaitkan dengan 4Cs. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa pentingnya analisis model pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan tujuan pembelajaran berdasarkan kompetensi dasar yang diajarkan. Selain itu, TeFa yang digalakan oleh pemerintah mengahadapi berbagai tantangan sehingga dibutuhkan solusinya. Penelitian berikutnya yang menarik untuk dikembangkan sebagai riset adalah keefektifan masing-masing model pembelajaran yang sudah disesuaikan dengan 4Cs. Selain itu, model pembelajaran vokasional perlu diintegrasikan dengan model pembelajaran vokasional lainnya. This research is a literature study from various sources that discuss vocational learning models in vocational high schools. This literature study examines the vocational learning model in SMK associated with 4Cs. The results of the study show that the importance of analyzing learning models that are adjusted to the learning objectives based on the basic competencies taught. In addition, TeFa which is promoted by the government faces various challenges so a solution is needed. The next research that is interesting to be developed as research is the effectiveness of each learning model that has been adapted to 4Cs. In addition, vocational learning models need to be integrated with other vocational learning models.

Abstract

Along with the development of the tourism in Bali, one of the phenomena occurs was that the land conversion to the non-agricultural land, causing the canal irrigation was not able to function again. In addition, water demand will be increased not only for irrigation, but also for other sectors out of irrigation. This condition can interfere the performance of the subak system. One strategy to improve subak system is to develop agroecotourism based on subak system. Analysis of physical performance subak system done using fuzzy logic approach to quantify the condition of vagueness. Because of the problems associated with subak irrigation systemperformance are often vague and can not be classified with certainty. The results of this study are (i) the values of subak irrigation system performance indicators, the condition and thefunction of subak irrigation facilities, the condition and the function of subak facilities, and the agroecotourism facilities; (ii) find out the physical performance of subak irrigation systems in Bali with agroecotourism oriented. The stages of this research were collecting and analyting the data include: (i) RWS (Relative Water Supply), (ii) RIS (Relative Irrigation Supply),(iii) Ia (Index Area), (iv) analysis of the condition and function of subak irrigation networks, (v) the condition and the function of subak facilities, (vi) the agroecotourism facilities, and (vii) physical performance of subak system using fuzzy logic approach. The utilization rate of water on Subak Anggabaya and Subak Lodtunduh in one year was good. Subak Anggabayaand Subak Lodtunduh have sufficient irrigation water supply with RIS values in one year > 1. Based on Area Index (Ia), it could be seen that the irrigated area in Subak Anggabaya andSubak Lodtunduh in accordance with the plan. The physical performance of Anggabaya subak system and Lodtunduh Subak system was in the middle criteria. The simulation results that development of agroecotourism on subak system could improve the physical performance of subak system.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model konsepsional dan model hipotetik LIS-5C dalam Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu tahap studi literatur, perumusan model konsepsional, dan perumusan model hipotetik LIS-5C. Model konsepsioanal LIS-5C mencakup: (1) komponen filosofis: esensialisme dan pragmatisme; (2) komponen teoretis: teori belajar kognitivisme dan konstruktivisme, teori pendidikan kejuruan untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan; (3) komponen metodologis critical thinking and problem solving; communication, collaboration, and cellebration; creativity and innovation; dan (4) komponen teknis berpikir secara kreatif, bekerja secara kreatif dengan orang lain, menerapkan inovasi; memecahkan masalah, berkomunikasi secara efektif, bekerjasama dengan orang lain. Model hipotetik LIS-5C bermuara kepada skill belajar memecahkan masalah secara kreatif berdasarkan skill belajar berpikir kreatif, bekerja kreatif dengan orang lain, dan mengimplementasikan hasil inovasi dalam pemecahan masalah. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi uji kompetensi siswa keahlian multimedia di SMK SeKota Yogyakarta, ditinjau dari aspek: (1) context; (2) input; (3) process; (4) product; dan (5) CIPP secara akumulatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada delapan SMK di kota Yogyakarta. Populasi adalah asesor, yang berjumlah 44 orang. Sampel dengan sampel jenuh (total). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Uji validitas dengan validitas isi melalui expert judgement, validitas konstruk dengan uji terbatas, dan dianalisis dengan korelasi Product Moment. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan Alpha Cronbach. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa uji kompetensi siswa keahlian multimedia di SMK Se-Kota Yogyakarta ditinjau dari aspek: (1) context termasuk kategori sangat sesuai (84,7%); (2) input termasuk dalam kategori sangat sesuai (87,61%); (3) process termasuk kategori sangat baik (89,94%); (4) product termasuk kategori sangat baik (82,78%); (5) CIPP secara akumulatif termasuk kategori sangat baik (86,62%). EVALUATION OF MULTIMEDIA SKILLS STUDENTS COMPETENCY TEST IN SMK YOGYAKARTAAbstractThis study aims to evaluate the multimedia skills students competency test in SMK Yogyakarta, in terms of (1) aspects of the context; (2) the input; (3) the process; (4) the product; and (5) CIPP aspects cumulatively. This study was conducted at eight vocational schools in the city of Yogyakarta. The population was assessors, amounting to 44 people. The sample used saturated or total sample. Data collection techniques used questionnaires. Test validity of the content validity is expert judgment and construct validity with product moment correlation formula. Test reliability was carried out with Alpha Cronbach. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that the multimedia skills students competency test in SMK Yogyakarta in terms of (1) aspects of the context fall into the very appropriate category (84.7 %); (2) the input are in the very appropriate category (87.61%); (3) the process are the excellent category (89.94%); (4 ) the product are the excellent category (82.78 %); (5) aspects of CIPP cumulatively are the excellent category (86.62%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif kompetensi dasar pemasangan sistem penerangan dan wiring kelistrikan; (2) mengetahui kualitas multimedia pembelajaran interaktif; dan (3) mengetahui efektifitas multimedia pembelajaran interaktif kompetensi dasar pemasangan sistem penerangan dan wiring kelistrikan pada kelas XI SMK bidang keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan. Validasi multimedia dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Subjek uji coba penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas XI SMKN 2 Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta bidang keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) produk multimedia pembelajaran interaktif kompetensi dasar pemasangan sistem penerangan dan wiring kelistrikan layak digunakan; (2) kualitas multimedia interaktif ini sangat baik, hasil penilaian ahli ditinjau dari pembelajaran 66 (baik), isi sebesar 54 (baik), aspek tampilan 97 (baik), dan program 50 (baik), sedangkan hasil dari penilaian peserta didik uji coba lapangan pada aspek pembelajaran1277 (sangat baik), isi 1195 (sangat baik), tampilan 1562 (sangat baik), dan pemograman 519 (sangat baik); (3) Produk multimedia pembelajaran interaktif kompetensi dasar pemasangan sistem penerangan dan wiring kelistrikan efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Rata-rata penilaian hasil belajar siswa ketika pretest adalah 63,75 dengan nilai terendah 50 dan nilai tertinggi 75. Sedangkan rata-rata nilai posttest sebesar 78,75 dengan nilai terendah 65 dan nilai tertinggi 90.  DEVELOPING INTERACTIVE LEARNING MULTIMEDIA THE BASIC COMPETENCY IN INSTALLING LIGHTING AND ELECTRIC WIRING SYSTEMS AT VOCATIONAL SCHOOLSAbstractThis study aims to: (1) develop an interactive learning multimedia the basic competency in installing lighting and electric wiring system; (2) describe an the quality of the interactive learning multimedia; and (3) describe the effectiveness of the interactive learning multimedia the basic competency in installing lighting and electric wiring system for Grade XI students of the Light Vehicle Engineering expertise competency program at SMK. This was a research and development (R & D). The validation of the multimedia by a matterial expert and media expert. The tryout subjects in the study were 32 people Grade XI students of the Light Vehicle Engineering expertise competency program at SMKN 2 Depok. The conclusions of the study are as follows. (1) the interactive learning multimedia product for the basic competency in installing lighting and electric wiring systems is appropriate to be used for learning grade XI SMK. (2) the assessment of the material expert and media expert on instructional learning multimedia show that the learning aspect attain a score of 66 (good), the content aspect attains a score of 54 (good), the display aspect attains a score 97 (good) and the aspect attains a score of the 50 (good) while the students’ assessment from the field tryout conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Depok shows that the learning aspect attains a score of 1277 (very good), the content aspect attains a score of 1195 (very good), the display aspect attains a score of 1562 (very good), and the programming aspect attains a score of 519 (very good); (3) the developed product is effective to improve the student learning outcomes. This is indicated by the result of the pretest and posttest analysis. The Average assessment of learning outcomes when the pretest of 63,75, with the lowest score of 50 and a highest of 75. While the average score posttest of 78,75 with the lowest score of 65 and the highest score of 90.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using autocad software to improve students' online learning outcomes of automotive engineering drawings. This quasi-experimental study used a pretest-posttest design and a control group. All class X students of the engineering and motorcycle business expertise program in two vocational schools became the population in this study. The sample used in this study amounted to 112 students who were divided into 4 classes in two vocational schools. The data collection technique was carried out using tests with multiple choice objective test instruments and drawing worksheets. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with t test. The results of the t test obtained tcount = 9.703 with ttable at a significance level of 5% = 1.986. These results show the value of tcount> ttable, so that it accepts Ha and rejects H0. Thus it is concluded that the use of autocad software in online learning automotive engineering drawings has a significant effect on improving student online learning outcomes.

Abstract

SMK has the challenge of implementing meaningful distance learning using animated video media according to student perceptions. However, students' perceptions about the use of animated video media in distance learning are not yet known. This study aims to measure the perceptions of Mechanical Engineering Vocational School students about the use of animated video media for the development of skills to operate a lathe in distance learning. This study used quantitative descriptive statistical analysis methods, t-test, and One-Way ANOVA with post-hoc advanced tests, namely the Dunnett C and Tukey test to determine differences in students' perceptions of assessment. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The media feasibility test was carried out by two material and media experts. The research subjects consisted of 73 students of Mechanical Engineering Vocational Schools. The results of the media feasibility validation by material experts were 81.875% and media experts 90.625% were in the very feasible category. The assessment of the feasibility of the media by students was 83.714% in the very feasible category. The study results concluded that there was no significant difference between male and female students in the assessment of distance learning animated video media.

Abstract

The pedagogical and professional competence of vocational teachers is still a fundamental question in the education and learning system. In the 21st century, teachers are required to have high pedagogical and professional competencies. This study aims to analyze the extent of the pedagogical and professional competencies of vocational teachers. This research is a descriptive study using a quantitative approach. A total of 232 vocational teachers became respondents in this study. Data were collected through a questionnaire method with an instrument in the form of a 4 Likert scale questionnaire. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential t-test which includes one-way ANOVA test and independent-sample t-test. The results showed that the pedagogical competence of vocational teachers was in a low category. Meanwhile, the professional competence of vocational teachers is in the high category, but in some indicators, it is still in the low category. Various retraining is needed to improve the pedagogical competence of vocational teachers; meanwhile, psychological approaches must also be taken to improve the professional competence of vocational teachers.
