http://dx.doi.org/10.17014/ijog.vol3no1.20084This paper discusses the study on the basalt volcanic rocks and the volcano morphology indicating the existence of an ancient submarine volcano in Tawangsari-Jomboran sub-regency, Sukoharjo- Wonogiri, Central Java. In general, this basalt volcanic rocks were identified as andesite breccia which might be grouped into the Mandalika Formation of Oligosen-Miosen age (Surono et al., 1992). The origin of the Mandalika Formation in relation to the classic sedimentation process and the submarine volcanism is still needed to be evaluated. The present study was based on the detailed descriptions of the rocks both in the field and in the laboratory. The autoclastic basalt outcrops consisting of breccias show the characteristics of the igneous rock fragment component embedded in the groundmass with the same composition, namely igneous rock, dark grey to black in colour; porphyritic texture, rough surface, brecciated; pillow structures, massive, fine vesicularities, amygdaloidal filled with calcite, and radial fractures; calk-alkaline andesite composition ( SiO = 54.71% , K O = 1.15% ). This rock body attains the  dimension of 2 - 5 m length, and 40 cm - 1 m in diameter with the direction of the deposition varies following the direction of the eruption source. Brecciated structures on the surface was controlled by the high cooling rate and the low flow, while the interior of the rock is massive because it was not in a direct contact to the cooler mass outside. Autoclastic basalt breccias and or the pillow basalt lava was interpreted to be formed by the undulating low gradient of morphology with the average angle of <10o. On the other hand, the low basaltic magma viscosity produced the effusive eruption related to the formation of the low angle morphology. The distance between the hills generally composed of pillow basalt is between 500 m - 1 km. The typical pillow structure of the igneous rock as described above is interpreted to be the product of the lava flow related to the effusive eruption  from a submarine volcano located under or close to the seawater surface.

Abstract

Geopark CiIetuh adalah salah satu potensi wisata Jawa Barat yang akan dikembangkan menjadi berkelas internasional (global Geopark). Sayangnya sampai sekarang salah satu variable penting yang menunjang tujuan menjadi Global Geopark yaitu infrastruktur baik jalan maupun penunjang lainnya masih dirasakan jauh dari selayaknya.  penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis persepsi sosial masyarakat yang ada terhadap pengembangan Ciletuh sebagai Kawasan Geopark dan keberlanjutan pengembangan Ciletuh sebagai Kawasan Geopark berdasarkan infrastruktur penunjang yang tersedia. Metoda yang digunakan adalah analisis persepsi dan Rapid Appraisal (RAP) untuk Model Kelayakan Geopark Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu (RAP-Geopark). Hasil studi persepsi terhadap kondisi infrastruktur pada turis lokal dan turis asing menunjukkan ketidak puasan sebesar 61% sampai 100%, dimana mereka menyatakan bahwa infrastruktur jalan masih buruk, sehingga membutuhkan waktu cukup lama untuk mencapai lokasi,  fasilitas transportasi lokal yang sangat minim (kebanyakan harus menggunakan kendaraan pribadi), kurang penerangan jalan, dan kurangnya iinfrastruktur penunjang lainnya seperti toilet umum, penginapan, internet, dan air bersih di lokasi Geopark. Hasil analisis juga menunjukkan nilai keberlanjutan yang rendah dari infrastruktur Geopark yaitu di bawah 50%. Penelitian merekomendasikan pengembangan infrastruktur baik jalan maupun fasilitas lainnya untuk keberlanjutan pengembangan Geopark Ciletuh secara Global. Kata kunci: Geopark, Ciletuh, Keberlanjutan, Infrastruktur.

Abstract

Research on website-based test applications for digital course registration in order to make it easier for course institutions to determine classes that are consistent and effective and efficient. This research provides alternative solutions for course institutions for class selection or course program that is suitable for users who will study at the place of the course which is cost-effective and time-consuming too. In this study a course registration application is designed by integrating a website and database to retrieve data after the user has tested. It is intended that users who want to learn English can receive a choice of classes or programs in accordance with their abilities and initial knowledge. This minimizing test instructor errors in determining class and program choices that will be obtained by the user. In this study using the Finite State Automata (FSA) method to discuss the NFA type FSA model can be implemented in the registration process to the user (member) where the course is expected as needed and can better understand how the process of class or program selection is effective and right on target

Abstract

The dissertation with the title "Management of Infrastructure in Improving the Quality of Vocational High School Graduates" focuses on case studies conducted by Vocational School in an effort to improve the quality of Vocational High School graduates. So far the management of facilities and learning infrastructure that standardized Laboratory of Honda motorcycle business techniques with disadvantages is less running to the maximum that causes the absorption of graduates to the Dudi still low. While the demands of real needs are increasing competitiveness through the quality of graduates who are ready to work, where the output and outcome graduates are priority. The general purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the Management of Facilities and Infrastructure in Improving the Quality of Vocational High School Graduates. The specific objectives to be achieved at the end of this research are: (1). Knowing and explaining the facilities and infrastructure management program in improving the quality of Vocational High School graduates; (2). Implementation of facilities and infrastructure management in improving the quality of Vocational High School graduates; (3). Problems faced in implementing the management of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of Vocational High School graduates; (4). Future demands related to the management of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of Vocational High School graduates; (5). Future improvement steps in the management of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of Vocational High School graduates. In order to get a comprehensive picture of this, research was conducted with a case study approach at Vocational High School Lentera Bangsa 1 Karawang, Vocational High School Lentera Bangsa 2 Karawang and Vocational High School Rismatek Karawang with qualitative methods. Based on the interpretation and analysis of the research results, the general conclusion is that the facilities and infrastructure management program has improved the quality of graduates which has an impact on the quality of graduates who are absorbed in the world of work, including: (1). Facilities and infrastructure management program in improving the quality of Vocational High School graduates who have the knowledge, skills and work ethic in accordance with the demands of the job market; (2). Implementation of management of facilities and infrastructure together carry out learning and assessment together in educating, training and providing qualified and work-ready workforce; (3). Problems encountered related to disproportionate number of industries and lack of practical equipment; (4). Future demands related to collective agreements in producing vocational graduates who are ready to work and competitive according to the demands of DUDI; (5). The next improvement step is to open foreign investment as a step to increase DUDI and complete school facilities and infrastructure.
