Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan koneksi matematik dan kemandirian belajar siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual lebih baik daripada pembelajaran biasa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen, pada awal dan akhir pembelajaran kedua kelas diberi tes. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA di Kota Cimahi, sedangkan sampel sekolahnya yaitu SMA Pasundan 1 Cimahi yang terdiri dari dua kelas yang dipilih secara tidak acak, yaitu kelas X-1 sebagai kelas Eksperimen dan kelas X-2 sebagai kelas Kontrol. Instumen seperangkat tes berbentuk uraian sebanyak 6 soal yang telah di uji cobakan dan dihitung validitas, reliabilitas, daya pembeda, dan indeks kesukarannya. Kemudian soal tersebut disajikan dalam bentuk pretest dan posttest. Adapun pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa tes uraian sebanyak lima soal, Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan koneksi matematik dan angket untuk mengetahui kemandirian belajar menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan koneksi matematik siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual lebih baik daripada yang menggunakan pembelajaran biasa. kemudian kemandirian belajar siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual lebih baik daripada yang menggunakan pembelajaran biasa. Dengan ketercapaian tersebut berada pada kategori tinggi dan sedang.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is based on the problem of the low mathematical problem solving ability of students who have a relationship with someone's success in solving a problem that they face. In this case, to overcome this, a class of research was conducted using an open ended approach and ordinary learning. In addition, this research is a quasi-experimental. The population in this study were students of class X MA in Bandung in 2018/2019 academic year. The research sample is all Class X students in one MA in Bandung. Quantitative analysis was performed using the two-difference test and descriptive qualitative analysis was also carried out. The results showed that the ability to solve mathematical problems using the open ended approach was better than those using the usual approach.

Abstract

This research examines the learning of mathematics-learning cooperatives the type of Team Assisted Individualization with contextual approach and it is relation with improved mathematical connection quality of high school (Junior High School) Private in the city of Bandung. The purpose of this research was: know how to increasiing learner mathematical connection quality who follow the method of contextual approach Through Cooperative Learning the Type of TAI compared with students who follow the teaching of mathematics with the conventional models, implementation approach contextual approach in class and the difficulties faced students of middle school in solving about the connection mathematics. The study instrument apply was a black-and-white exam mathematical connection quality. The results obtained in the form of the pretest and posttest scores then processed with statistical methods test the difference of two averages. The output indicate that improvement of connection quality of middle school student who follow the method of contextual approach Through Cooperative Learning the Type of TAI is more increased compared with students who follow the teaching of mathematics with the conventional models. Implementation contextual approach can improve the ability of connection mathematics students middle school, the difficulties faced students middle school in solving about the connection mathematics is indicator using math in the part of another study or in daily life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze  the role of mathematics realistic education (RME)  approach on students’ mathematical critical  thinking  and resiliency. This study is an experiment with pre test-post test control group design and involves 62  eleventh grade students, a mathematical critical  thinking test, a mathematical  resiliency scale, and a perception on RME approach scale. The study found, on mathematical critical   thinking  ability (MCTA), its N Gain, and  mathematical resiliency (MR) students getting treatment with RME approach attained better grades than the grades  of students taught by conventional teaching. The first group students attained at medium grade level on MCTA and fairly good grade level on MR, while the second group students  obtained  at low grade level on MCTA, medium grade level on MR, and they realized difficulties in some  items of  mathematical critical  thinking tasks. The other findings, there was no association between MCTA and MR, and students learned actively, thought critically and creatively, were unafraid to pose their opinion and performed to be  self confident during  RME approach.

Abstract

The problem raised in this research is due to lack of understanding and critical thinking of mathematics. In learning mathematics, learners often have difficulty in doing problems understanding and critical thinking mathematics. The learning process focuses on teachers instead of learning on the students. One of the learning models that teachers can do is the SQ3R model.This study aims to examine the picture of improving the ability of understanding and critical thinking of mathematics through learning model SQ3R and Direct Instruction in terms of learning motivation.This research is a quasi experimental research conducted at SMP IT Fithrah Insani in KBB. Two classes as a randomly selected sample. One class becomes experimental class gets SQ3R model treatment and one class becomes control class gets treated Direct Instruction model.The research stages begin with the making of instruments, the implementation of pretes, the implementation of learning, and postes. Done postes are given a motivation questionnaire that serves as a control variable. This pretest issue is shared by the researcher in the experimental and control classes to be performed by the students. After the problem is done, the students' work results are evaluated. After obtaining the pretest and posttest score in both classes, then calculated the gain to see the improvement result. Furthermore the gain data is processed, using SPSS 21 two-track anova test, to see the difference and interaction between the motivation level and the learning model. The result of data analysis shows that there is a difference of comprehension ability and critical mathematical thinking using SQ3R and Direct Instruction model but the level of motivation toward the learning model both on the ability of comprehension and the ability of thinking ability krits matematik. There is no interaction of motivation level and learning model.

Abstract

This study is a pre test-post test experimental control group design having a goal to analyze  the role of problem based learning on students’ mathematical critical thinking ability  and self regulated learning. The study involved 60 eighth grade students of an MTs, a mathematical critical thinkng test, and a mathematical  self regulated learning scale. The study found that on mathematical critical thinking ability, its gain, and on mathematical self regulated learning, students getting treatment with problem based learning approach attained  better grade than that of students taught by conventional teaching. The first group students obtained at fairly good grades level, while the students taught by conventional teaching attained at medium grades level. The other findings, there was fairly good association between mathematical critical thinking  ability and mathematical self regulated learning.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan pengabdian ini adalah memperkenalkan pemakaian VBA for Microsoft Excel, khususnya pada guru SD dalam usaha meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika terutama pada pembelajaran pecahan di tingkat SD,  memberikan alternatif media pembelajaran  yang dapat dipilih  dalam mengajarkan  konsep  matematika  khususnya  materi pecahan  dan    mendorong  siswa  untuk  aktif  belajar  matematika  khususnya  dalam  materi pecahan dan opearsi bilangan bulat dengan menggunakan VBA for Microsoft Excel. Metode yang digunakan dalam Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat adalah metode diskriftif, Instrumen yang digunakan adalah non tes berupa angket skala Likert dengan empat option jawaban. Data yang diperoeh dari angket diolah menggunakan program Excel. Dari hasil pengolahan data didapat kesimpulan sebagai berikut : Pelatihan menanamkan konsep pecahan dengan menggunakan VBA Excel kepada guru-guru SD sudah berjalan dengan lancar sesuai dengan langkah-langkah yang  telah  ditetapkan.  Dari  5 indikator pelatihan  menanamkan  konsep  dengan  VBA  secara keseluruhan  sikap  guru  bersifat  kuat  Persentase  tertinggi  didapat  oleh  indikator kebermanfaatan pelatihan dan persentase terendah terletak pada indikator Sikap peserta terhadap pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: VBA for Excel, pecahan, ABSTRACTThe purpose of this service is to use VBA for Microsoft Excel, specifically for elementary school teachers in an effort to improve students'  abilities in learning mathematics specifically in learning fractions at the elementary level, providing alternative learning media that can be chosen in the context of learning mathematics, fraction material and encouraging students to actively learn special mathematics in fraction material and integer operations using VBA for Microsoft Excel. The method used in Community Service is a discrete method. The instrument used is a non-test in the form of a Likert scale questionnaire with four answer choices. Data obtained from a questionnaire is processed using the Excel program. From the results of data processing obtained as follows: Training to instill the concept of fractions using VBA Excel for elementary school teachers has been running efficiently in accordance with the steps that have been set. Of the 5 training indicators instill concepts with VBA as a whole, teacher attitudes, strong, percentage, obtained by indicators of usefulness, training, and the lowest percentage of indicators.Keywords: VBA for Excel, fraction

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce learning tools using geogebra-assisted inductive deductive approaches that were valid, practical and effective in improving students' creative thinking abilities. This research method is a development method. This study develops learning tools that include a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and Student Worksheets (LKS) using the Plomp model which consists of three stages, namely the initial investigation phase, the development phase and the evaluation phase. Data processing techniques consisted of validity analysis using validation sheets, practicality analysis techniques using questionnaires from students and teachers and the last analysis of effectiveness using questions about the ability to think mathematically creatively. The results showed that the results of the validation of the learning tools indicated that the learning devices were feasible with a very valid category, while the results of the trials showed that the learning tools developed were very practical and very effective.
