Abstract

This research is motivated by the researchers' interest in "Duty of Heart" poetry by Ustadz Jefri Al Buchori because there are different characteristics on the background of the writer who is a preacher. Poetry has a composition of words that are beautiful and have many meanings. Poetry writing is greatly influenced by diction and imagination used by the author because it can bring up the characteristics of the author through language and the choice of words used. This study aims to analyze and describe the description/ depiction of "Tasks Hati" poetry by Ustadz Jefri Al Buchori. The image is an arrangement of words that can express sensory experience. The images consist of three parts, including visual images (visions), auditive images (sounds) and tactile images (touch or touch). The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method. The subject of this research is a poem of an Ustadz, preacher, and actor who has a special appeal in his writing characteristics. In this poem, there are only 2 images, namely visual images and tactile or tactile images which amount to 7 word vision images, tactile images as many as 8 words. The tactile image is more dominant in this poem which asks the reader to appreciate this poem and the influence of the diction used by Ustadz Jefri Al Buchori is influenced by the religious background.

Abstract

The background of this research is the difficulty of students in writing anecdotal texts. Writing is one aspect of language skills. Students are not optimal in writing anecdotal texts. Did the mind mapping method succeed in improving the skills of writing anecdotal texts? To find out the results of applying mind mapping methods to learning to write anecdotal texts. Researchers use the method of pre-experimental designs (One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design) as a research design that applies the initial test and final test. The results of this study compare before and after being given treatment to students with the results of the assessment of learning implementation Students who are better able to write anecdotal texts using the mind mapping method in the learning process. This is evident from the results of the average pre-test score of 63.65 and the average post-test score of 78.84. Paired T-test sample test through SPSS shows that the value of sig.0,000 <0.05 means that there are differences in the results of the pre-test and post-test values after being treated. This means that mind mapping is good for writing anecdotal texts. Writing anecdotal text using the mind mapping method was successfully implemented.

Abstract

The background this research, seen from the ability of students who are less proficient in pouring ideas or ideas into eriting and the application of classroom learning methods is not aptimal so that student are less active in learning in class. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of autovisual based problem based learning methods.The method of this research is experimental method whit nonequivalent control group design. Samples taken are students of class VIII Mts which amounted to 20 students. Collection techniques used are wiewed from student observation sheets and test. Results from the analysis conducted in class VIII obtained an average of 75.7 and 82.6 on the final test, from the results of these studies proved that the increase.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementatiom of onomatope techniques on writing poetry in class of X MA Tanjungjaya. This research is done by taking the object of 27 students. The influence factor applied is onomatope techniques on poetry writing. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis using pretest and postest. Criteria used as a judgement include themes, diction, majas, images, and mandate.Constraints faced by students, among other, themes that are not in accordance with the contents of poetry, students have not been able to use diction, students have not been able to apply majas and images, and students are still not able to discribe the mandate in writing poetry. Based preliminary and final test results can be seen on average student scores on the initial test, that is 55. While the average student scores on the final test, that is 70. The result of the study can bee concluded that the ability in class af X MA Tanjungjaya in writing poetry exparienced an increasein in the number of imsges and majas contained in the poetry, although there are still some students who have not maximized in the use of majas and images.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that the principle of politeness is important both in oral and written. Novels as writing must also use levels and conversations that include the principle of politeness in language. The problems in this study are; "How is the use of language politeness in a novel called Me And My Heart by Eva RiyantyLubis. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of language politeness in a novel entitled Me And My Heart by Eva RiyantyLubis. In this research activity, the method used is a descriptive method. The data in this study are dialogues that contain the maxims of politeness in language. While the data sources in this study are conversations, data collection techniques in this study use reading, note-taking, literature, analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that in the novel entitled Me And My Heart by Eva RiyantyLubis it did not fulfill the six maxims of politeness in the language according to Leech, which collected 52 utterances using the principle of politeness in language including a) Maxim's conclusions. b) Maxim agreement. c) Maxim wisdom. d) Maxim of generosity. e) Maxim simplicity. f) Maximally reward.

Abstract

This study is the result of analysis to see the influence of reading and writing about the religious attitude of the students. Subject of the study is a student of IKIP Siliwangi. The data used for the analysis is a questionnaire with guttman scale. Data are analyzed based on instruments that focus on the success and influence of literacy activities of the Quran. The method used is the developmental experimental method with the analysis of quantitative-qualitative approach. From the guttman scale analysis, the point of influence is in the 50% -100% range ie the BTQ program 84.8% and its impact on religious attitudes 89.6%. So that can be said The Influence of Reading Program Al-Quran on Religious Attitude Student IKIP Siliwangi Approaching successfully.

Abstract

The background of this research is that some facts found in the field of students cannot express their ideas and imagination into a poem due to difficulties in finding poetic words and the use of less innovative methods. This can be proven from the results of previous student observations showing that some students were less motivated during the learning process, so that students obtained poetry values with less criteria. In connection with this problem, the formulation of the problem of this research is how the results of writing poetry before and after the application of the quantum learning method? This study aims to determine the results of writing poetry using the quantum learning method. The method used is an experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The average value of the initial test (pretest) obtained was 70.31 while the average value of the final test (posttest) was 80.78, an increase of 11.41%. The SPSS results showed a paired T sample sig test 0,000 <0,05. Therefore it can be concluded if the quantum learning method can be used in poetry learning, because students can make poetry better than before the implementation of the quantum learning method.

Abstract

Any lyrics in the song must have a specific purpose that wish to be conveyed to his listeners. Therefore, every song lyrics will be delivered with an interesting language. The writing of the song lyrics will not regardless of the style of the language poets includes either word choice or sentence structure, diction, or figure of speech. This research will describe the figure of speech which featured in the lyrics of the song "until the end of Time" by Eross Candra through stylistical research. Assessment against this research object using the document analysis techniques by reading the lyrics to a song that will be analyzed, understood the meaning of the lyrics of the song, then find words containing figure of speech in the song lyrics and describe it. The result of stylictical research in the lyrics “Until end of Time” indicates that the song's lyrics contain a wide variety of figure of speech, including comparison; simile, metaphor, personification, hyperbole, contradiction, and parallelism or repetition of words at the end.
