Abstract

SERVQUAL is a service quality measurement model that is assumed to be widely applicable in every sector of service industry, yet research proves the opposite. Characteristic of customer in each segment can be a factor that causes differences in measurement model. According to that fact, this research is conducted to identify the difference of measurement model in each customer segment, especially in e-banking industry. Not only we identify the measurement model,  this research is done to confirm the relationship between 3 constructs as well, which are service quality, satisfaction, and loyalty. Several statistical method will be introduced here in relationship with segmentation process, measurement model identification, dan the three constructs validation process. Segmentation process yields 2 customer segments which are people with high and moderate expectation to service quality. In the first segment, the measurement model consists of 4 quality dimensions, which are fullfilment, efficiency, assurance, and web design while there are 5 dimensions in the second segment which are fulfillment, responsiveness, information technology, assurance, and efficiency. There are also significant relationships among service quality, satisfaction, and loyalty.

Abstract

Visual inspection task is the inspection activity of a product with the eye position centered over the moving conveyor, the faster the product is produced, the more critical the time of the inspection operator. The conditions in the long term will result in a decrease in productivity (Manuaba, 1992). The research objective to be achieved, among others: (1) Determining the optimal level of productivity based on the studies measure of performance checks on experimental design in every visual inspection task beverage packaging cup "Panther". (2) Determine the influence of lighting, working position and gender on the productivity of visual inspection task on beverage packaging. The object of research is part operator checks on beverage packaging cup "panther". Here are 10 people who have IQ scores of 90-120 aged 20-25 years. The research method was experimental method. The independent variables consist of lighting levels, working position, and gender. Variable manipulated into 12 groups experimental design. Data processing is done by checking the performance measurement approach. Analysis of experimental data using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and productivity. The study states that: (1) the highest labor productivity LkB200 experimental design (male, standing working position, the lighting level of 200 Lux) for 0.833. But the productivity of all design experiments have not reached optimal productivity, (2) Areas of different interactions in experimental design factor is the level of lighting in the working position. These factors affect the number of detected defects and work productivity.Keywords: Lighting, Measurement Time, Productivity, Performance Measures Inspection, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA)

Abstract

Background: The Gajah Wonderland Kampong is a recreation area offering various games that is located in Lembang, Bandung. The favorite game to be played in this park is the so-called Buggy Game. The results of in-depth observations and close examination indicate that this particular Buggy Game is not ergonomic and that path information is inadequate so that accidents often occur. In order to solve these problems, the Participatory Ergonomics (PE) method has been employed. Method: The implementation of PE involves key stakeholders, namely the management in charge, workers, designers, and ergonomics experts. The stakeholders have discussed these matters to reach an agreement in the shape of a design that suits the user. Results: This study resulted in a chair design concept that can be adjusted according to needs, a gas pedal limiting design, a track plan design and manufacturing directions, a speed sensor design and an emergency button, in addition to a head frame design, and a design for anti-heat material in the engine area. Conclusion: PE turns out to be the right method for repeated repairs or improvements made to the Buggy Game because it involves the main user so as to produce a design that is able to improve both the comfort and safety of the users.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis persepsi dan usulan bauran ritel untuk food truck di Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan wawancara kepada pemilik food truck, survei menggunakan kuesioner kepada para konsumen dan observasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 120 responden yang merupakan konsumen yang mengunjungi dan membeli produk truk makanan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan metode kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa target pasar food truck mulai berasal dari umur 15 hingga 25 tahun, mengetahui sumber informasi tentang food truck melalui media sosial, dan faktor penting dalam membeli food truck adalah produk yang dijual dalam food truck tersebut. Selain itu, adapun responden tidak setuju dengan lokasi food truck yang mudah terlihat. Strategi-strategi yang harus dilakukan food truck adalah mempromosikan melalui media sosial seperti Instagram, Twitter, dan Facebook. Selain itu, food truck juga harus melakukan promosi seperti pemberian diskon serta menyediakan menu khusus dan stand yang menarik agar memiliki daya tarik dibenak konsumen dan dampaknya food truck tersebut menjadi dikenal dan ramai.

Abstract

The present study explores awareness concerning the implementations of occupational safety of three textile plants in Bandung area. The study was supported by data from our visit to those respective textile plants, i.e. from discussions with the managers and employees, the observations towards the working conditions and the activities of the employees, and the response of questionnaires asked to the operators. It was found that the occupational safety procedures have to be improved. The lighting levels in most departments of these plants shall be higher than the present lighting level. The noise levels in two of the three plants have to be lowered. Out of the questionnaire it was learned that the adverse effects of the poor workplace conditions were experienced by the employees. The safety organization of these plants was not integrated to the organizational structure of the respective company. Among those three textile plants, only one plant provided data on accidents in 2011 and 2012. It seems that the number and the severity of the accidents were not signifi cantly different. In 2012 there was an accident that led to permanent disability. The awareness and the concern of the managers to the occupational safety were poor. That is why it is proposed that the occupational safety solutions of these plants have to be performed by safety management approach based on macro-ergonomics principles.

Abstract

Participatory ergonomics (PE) is an effective and efficient method to improve the employees concern towards workplace accidents in order to work more productively. The success of PE is determined by participation, organization, ergonomic methods and tools, as well as job design concept. The implementation of this method was conducted in the Upper Production Department (the division producing the top part of shoes) which consists of seven work stations. Each work station is measured concerning its risk score (RS). The measurement result shows that Dering and Pouching Stations have RS of more than the determined limit, therefore they need an improvement. The improvement results are protector for Pouching Machine and material clamp for Dering Machine.

Abstract

Visual inspection task merupakan aktivitas inspeksi suatu produk dengan posisi mata terpusat melalui konveyor yang bergerak, semakin cepat produk diproduksi maka semakin kritis waktu dari operator pemeriksaan. Kondisi tersebut dalam jangka waktu lama akan berdampak pada penurunan produktivitas (Manuaba, 1992). Tujuan penelitian yang ingin dicapai, antara lain: (1) Menentukan tingkat produktivitas yang optimal berdasarkan studi ukuran kinerja pemeriksaan pada desain eksperimen di setiap visual inspection task minuman kemasan cup “Panther”. (2) Mengetahui pengaruh pencahayaan, posisi kerja dan gender terhadap produktivitas visual inspection task pada minuman kemasan. Objek penelitian adalah operator bagian pemeriksaan pada minuman kemasan cup “panther”. Operator berjumlah 10 orang yang memiliki nilai IQ 90-120 yang berusia 20 – 25 tahun. Metode penelitian adalah metode eksperimen. Variabel independen terdiri dari tingkat pencahayaan, posisi kerja, dan gender. Variabel dimanipulasi menjadi 12 kelompok desain eksperimen. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan pendekatan ukuran kinerja pemeriksaan. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), dan produktivitas. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa: (1) Produktivitas kerja tertinggi yaitu desain eksperimen LkB200 (Laki-laki, posisi kerja berdiri, tingkat pencahayaan 200 Lux) sebesar 0.833. Namun produktivitas semua desain eksperimen belum mencapai produktivitas kerja yang optimal, (2) Faktor interaksi yang berbeda pada desain eksperimen adalah faktor tingkat pencahayaan dengan posisi kerja. Faktor tersebut mempengaruhi jumlah cacat terdeteksi dan produktivitas kerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengalaman berbelanja online produk fashion terhadap kepuasan konsumen serta niat pembelian kembali. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan metode verifiaktif. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan melalui survey secara online kepada 120 Konsumen yang berbelanja produk fashion secara online melalui situs e- commerce fashion seperti Sale Stock Indonesia, Zalora, Mapemall, Berrybenka, dan Bobobobo dalam satu tahun terakhir dengan metode purposive sampling. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan metode structural equation model (SEM) dengan variabel independen pengalaman berbelanja online, kepuasan konsumen sebagai variabel intervening, dan niat pembelian kembali sebagai variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa variabel pengalaman berbelanja online, kepuasan konsumen, dan niat pembelian kembali mempunyai nilai critical ratio yang lebih besar dari 1,96 (nilai tabel z =5%). Hal tersebut menyatakan bahwa pengalaman berbelanja online berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan konsumen, kepuasan konsumen berpengaruh positif terhadap niat pembelian kembali, dan pengalaman berbelanja online berpengaruh positif terhadap niat pembelian kembali
