Abstract

ABSTRACT: The aims of the research were to determine the effect of learning models on learning achievement viewed from students’ learning styles. The learning models compared were cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) with Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach, Numbered Heads Together (NHT) and conventional. This research was a quasi-experimental research using factorial design of 3x3. The population of the research were all students of the Public Junior High Schools (SMP Negeri) in Salatiga City. The samples of the research were seven grade students of SMP Negeri 2, SMP Negeri 5 and SMP Negeri 7 in Salatiga City (85 students for for first experimental class, 83 students for second experimental class, and 86 students for control class). The samples were chosen by using stratified cluster random sampling. In collecting the data, the instruments used were multiple-choice test of learning achievement in mathematics and student learning style questionnaire. The technique of analyzing the data was unbalanced two-ways Anova. The results of the research are as follows: (1) the cooperative learning model NHT with RME approach and cooperative learning model NHT result in the same good learning achievement in mathematics, and both result in a better learning achievement in mathematics than the conventional learning model; (2) there are no any differences in the learning achievement in mathematics of the students with the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles; (3) in each learning style, the cooperative learning model NHT with RME approach and cooperative learning model NHT result in the same good learning achievement in mathematics, and both result in a better learning achievement in Mathematics than the conventional learning model; (4) in each learning model, the students with the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles have the same learning achievement in mathematics. Abstract

DOI: 10.17014/ijog.v7i1.132Rajabasa Volcano (± 1281 m) and Lampung Tuff, located in the South Lampung Regency, is the main point in order to understand the evolution of Quaternary volcanism in the area. A remote sensing analysis and field geologic work are the methods of the study. The volcanism began with the construction period of the Pre-Rajabasa composite cone which was followed by the destruction period of the cone to form the Pre-Rajabasa Caldera having ca. 25 km in diameter. The present Rajabasa Volcano, along with cones of flank eruptions and monogenesis, has appeared in the Pre-Rajabasa Caldera depression. Those volcanic activities are considered as the second construction period. During the first and the second construction periods, basaltic to andesitic lava flows, pyroclastic breccias, and tuffs were erupted. The Rajabasa eruption points moved in WNW - ESE direction, which were possibly controlled by a subsurface weak zone. The Pre-Rajabasa Caldera erupted voluminous Lampung Tuffs having rhyolite in composition, and they are considered as a combination of pyroclastic falls, flows, and surges, or pyroclastic density currents.

Abstract

The Qur’ân was revealed with justice and equality for human beings regardless of their sex, race, social class and ethnicity, as cardinal principles and intrinsic values in Islamic sharî‘a. If this is the case, modern Muslim society with Islamic law is necessarily of equality and justice. However, their family laws which are grounded on assumptions of past centuries and have little bearing on contemporary realities have not reflected gender relations. Inequality that occurs within the context of Muslim family laws is one of the subtle but most pervasive areas of discrimination against women. It has resulted in a different set of dynamics that help create new demands in favor of change of laws. This study explores the reform strategy through legal mobilization in the Muslim family laws around the world. The findings of the study reveal that the substantive and pluralistic legal mobilization is important to Muslims, and the reinterpretation and renewal of laws have been mobilizing debates among both proponents and opponents, framed by orientations to the modernists who advocate reinterpretation of the original sources and the traditionalists who insist on literal adherence to the received doctrinal corpus.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and validation games to develop character in the students Football School under 12 years age group. This study was conducted using R and D. This study produced a product in the form of games related to the process of training, but can be used to develop the students character. Games that resulted from this research given the name Tsu Chu Kid Futbol Games For Character Development. Games have the flexible nature can be placed at the warm-up, core, and cooling at a football training process. The game must have at least two training purposes with the provisions of the first objective should be able to develop the character, and the second objective can develop one component among the components of the physical, technical, or tactics.

Abstract

Industri perhotelan di indonesia semakin berkembang dengan pesat. Perkembangan ini diikuti oleh kemajuan dibidang ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi khususnya informasi yang membawa persaingan dibidang jasa akomodasi. Perkembangan ini berdampak pula pada banyaknya tamu yang masuk (Chek-in ), pemesanan kamar dan tamu keluar (Chek-out), yang semakin bertambahnya sistem operasional yang harus dilakukan setiap hari.Permaslahan yang dihadapi oleh PT. RATU HOTEL BIDAKARA tersebut pada bagian Front Office, dimana kegiatanya mengenai (cek-in room), pemesanan kamar ( reservation room ), (meeting room), dan (weeding). Sering kali mengalami kekeliruan dalam pendataan customer yang akan berdampak pada pelayanan yang diberikan oleh PT. RATU HOTEL BIDAKARA kepada customer. Selain itu juga data – data kamar kurang terkontrol, dimana akan menyulitkan karyawan hotel khususnya pada saat ada tamu yang akan melakukan penginapan. Selain itu juga dalam merekapitulasi data – data kamar dan pendapatan hotel tersebut

Abstract

Menentukan sebuah keputusan dalam sebuah usaha adalah hal yang cukup sulit, berbagai pertimbangan harus diperhitungkan dengan matang. Dalam usaha meubeul, modal dan jumlah produk yang dipesan merupakan sumber pertimbangan yang harus diperhitungkan, karena merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam menentukan beroperasi atau tidaknya usaha dalam menghasilkan produk pesanan. Pada penelitian ini membahas tentang implementasi Fuzzy Tsukamoto dalam membuat keputusan pembelian bahan pokok atau pun pembuatan kursi jenis leter L pada perusahaan meubel. Dari data 1 Tahun terakhir, permintaan terbesar mencapi 382 kursi/ tahun dan terkecil mencapi 112 kursi / satu tahun. Dengan segala keterbatasanya, sampai saat ini, perusahaan baru mampu memproduksi kursi maksimum 550 kursi/ tahun, untuk mengefesiensi Waktu dan SDM tiap bulan perusahaan tersebut harus memproduksi paling tidak 140 kursi dengan memaksimalkan modal dan sumber daya yang terbatas.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang ada di masyarakat RT 11 Sumberan, Ngestiharjo, Kasihan, Bantul yaitu banyaknya botol plastik air  mineral yang tidak dimanfaatkan dengan baik. Maka program KKN UAD difokuskan pada pemanfaatan limbah botol plastik. Program ini bertujuan memberdayakan masyarakat RT 11 Sumberan Ngestiharjo dalam program Peduli Lingkungan. Metode pelaksanaan program KKN meliputi : pelatihan masyarakat dan praktik langsung. Dampak dari kegiatan KKN ini adalah, (1) tercipta kesadaran masyarakat sasaran tentang pentingnya menjaga lingkungan, (2) peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat dalam mengolah sampah, 3) masyarakat terampil membuat karya kreatif dari botol plastik bekas.

Abstract

The aim of inventory the factors of street children and identify appropriate handling by ethics education. Survey method of data collecting technique is by questioner and limited interview. Data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative. The result showed that the dominant factor of street children are economic and parental education low levels and their job street musician, construction waiter, pedicab driver and casual laborers. Right now street children work as the rental canvas shelters, deliverying drink and foods singing in door to door in their vilages, and in the bus. Their income per day is about Rp20.000 just for their need, such as, to pay the play station, buy cigarettes, eat, and alcohols drink.Based on the result of the study showed that 100% of street children agree to behave good ethics, such as, maintain their good health, maintain their ethics in the street, when they work, execute commands with good faith, instill their self confidence, avoid malicious behavior, stealing, hurting others, and fight. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menginventarisasi faktor adanya anak jalanan (anjal) dan mengidentifikasi bentuk penanganannya melalui pendidikan etika. Metodenya survei, teknik pengumpulan data dengan angket dan wawancara terbatas. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor dominan adanya anak jalanan adalah faktor ekonomi dan pendidikan orang tua yang rendah, pekerjaannya sebagai pengamen, kuli bangunan, tukang becak dan pekerja serabutan. Sekarang, anak jalanan ada yang bekerja di persewaan terop, mengantarkan makanan itik, mengamen di kampung dan di Bus. Penghasilan sekitar Rp.20.000 per hari untuk kebutuhan sendiri, seperti; biaya main playstation, membeli rokok, membeli miras, dan makan. Penanganan dengan pengarahan, mengisi angket. Hasilnya 100% anjal setuju melakukan etika yang baik misalnya menjaga kesehatan, etika waktu mengamen, waktu di jalan, waktu di tempat kerja, dan yang berkaitan dengan agama menanamkan kepercayaan diri menghindari perilaku jahat, mencuri, menyakiti orang lain, dan berkelahi.

Abstract

The article draws on research that aims to develop a model of the development of pre-reading-writing ability of a character-based education in kindergarten. The study was used the Research and Development method involving teachers and children at three kindergartens in Jombang. The procedure consists of two phases study, the preliminary studies and model development. Data collected by observation, interviews, documentation, questioner techniques, validation testing experts, and the results are analyzed with qualitative analysis techniques. The results showed that teachers require manual and development model's to pre-reading-writing ability of a character-based, as well as scenario development activity. The model of development gives the possibility for children to develop the ability to recognize text and pre-reading-writing through story. Development model cantains character values on planning, include: objectives, materials, and activities, as well as the implementation, include: introduction, core, and closing activities. Artikel ini disusun berdasarkan penelitian yang bertujuan mengembangkan model pengembangan kemampuan pra-membaca-menulis berbasis pendidikan karakter di TK. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian pengembangan melibatkan guru-guru dan anak-anak di tiga TK Kabupaten Jombang. Prosedur penelitian terdiri atas dua tahap, yakni studi pendahuluan dan pengembangan model. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, kuesioner dan uji validasi pakar, serta hasilnya dianalisis dengan teknik analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru membutuhkan panduan dan model pengembangan kemampuan pra-membaca-menulis berbasis karakter, serta skenario kegiatan pengembangan. Model pengembangan yang dihasilkan memungkinkan anak mengenal tulisan dan mengembangkan kemampuan pra-membaca-menulis melalui cerita. Model pengembangan memuat nilai karakter pada komponen perencanaan, meliputi: tujuan, materi, dan kegiatan, serta pada pelaksanaan meliputi: pendahuluan, inti, dan penutup.
