Abstract

Saat ini harga bahan bakar seperti batu bara dan minyak bumi semakin mahal, salah satu penyebabnya ialah melemahnya nilai rupiah terhadap mata uang asing. Tingginya biaya bahan bakar yang harus ditanggung oleh pembangkit termal, telah mendorong peneliti untuk membuat optimasi penjadwalan pembangkit termal. Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh penjadwalan dan pembagian beban pembangkit tenaga listrik, guna mendapatkan biaya bahan bakar yang minimum, dengan tetap memperhatikan batasan equality dan inequality. Saat ini perkembangan teknologi soft computing semakin berkembang, terlihat dari banyaknya para peneliti menggunakan teknologi tersebut. Soft computing banyak digunakan karena kemampuannya dalam hal meniru akal manusia serta bersifat adaptif. Komponen utama soft computing dengan mengintergrasi sistem fuzzy dan jaringan syaraf tiruan. Metode hybrid neuro-fuzzy diterapkan pada pembangkit termal sistem interkoneksi 500 kV Jawa-Bali. Hasil optimasi hybrid neuro-fuzzy tersebut dibandingkan dengan kondisi riil di lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil optimasi didapat bahwa metode hybrid neuro-fuzzy tersebut lebih ekonomis dibandingkan dengan kondisi riil sistem.

Abstract

ABSTRAKRobot bermanfaat untuk membantu manusia dalam mengerjakan pekerjaan yang berbahaya contohnya pemadam kebakaran. Oleh karena itu perlu dikembangkan robot cerdas pemadam api yang mampu mencari sumber api dan kemudian memadamkannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat rancang bangun robot cerdas pemadam api menggunakan mikrokontroler ATmega128 sebagai pengendalinya. Proses pencarian sumber api dilakukan dengan cara memeriksa tiap ruangan apakah terdapat sumber api atau tidak. Pencarian titik api dilakukan dengan mendeteksi pancaran sinar ultraviolet yang dipancarkan api dengan menggunakan sensor UVTron flame detector. Untuk memadamkan api digunakan kipas yang digerakkan oleh motor DC. Robot bergerak secara otomatis menggunakan aplikasi dari motor DC. Robot menggunakan sensor PING ultrasonic range finder untuk memandu navigasi robot dalam pencarian ruangan, menghindari halangan, mendeteksi arah gerak dan untuk kembali ke posisi start robot. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa robot cerdas pemadam api dapat dibuat dengan menggunakan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak yang dikontrol menggunakan mikrokontroler ATmega128. Dari pengujian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa robot cerdas pemadam api ini dapat memdeteksi api hingga jarak 5 meter dan dapat memadamkan api dalam waktu rata-rata 38.6 detik.

Abstract

Identifikasi kualitas minyak transformator menjadi prosedur baku yang harus dilakukan dalam proses pemeliharaan. Untuk mempermudah identifikasi, maka diperlukan metode perancangan  identifikasi kualitas minyak transformator menggunakan metode logika fuzzy. faktor mendasar yang harus terpenuhi adalah penskalaan dari input-output, aturan dasar kendali fuzzy dan tipe membership function yang digunakan. Ada beberapa tipe membership function pada pengendali logika fuzzy yang terdapat di toolbox matlab. Pada penelitian ini penulis akan menggunakan tiga buah indikator input sebagai standar kelayakan kondisi minyak transformator dimana input data pada penelitian ini mengacu kepada standar ASTM D 1500 dan standar SPLN 49-1 : 1982. Pada penelitian ini data input akan dibuat menjadi tiga jenis simulasi dengan menggunakan dua buah tipe membership function. Dari hasil penelitian mendapatkan kesimpulan bahwa membership function tipe triangular memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dari pada membership function tipe Trapezoidal dan membership function gabungan antara triangular dan Trapezoidal.

Abstract

Load control and data acquisition in this research designed to be accessible with web page interface. The working of data acquisition is reading analog data from voltage and current by using Adaptor and current sensor ACS712 which is then processed by Arduino and will show in web page with SBC Raspberry Pi, the web page will showing real time chart from voltage, current and apparent power, and the workings of the control system is direct control SBC Raspberry Pi pin with interface web which then will turn on relay which has connected with the electricity load. The system which researched using WiFi USB or LAN cable for connected to intranet network that cause address of web page can be access by other devices connected to the intranet network.

Abstract

Fish management systems have an important role in fish farming. One aspect of fish management is water quality which includes several things such as temperature, pH, oxygen levels and also feeding. So far, monitoring of water quality and feeding of fish has been done manually. This study aims to design a control-monitoring system for oxygen levels, pH, temperature and automatic feeding based on IoT. The reading data from the sensor and also the RTC will be forwarded by the microcontroller to the server to be displayed to the user. This system is automated with actuators in the form of aerators and motors, so that feeding and adding oxygen levels to the pond will be automatically carried out by the microcontroller. The results of this study indicate the system can work, temperature data, oxygen levels, pH can be monitored through the server and feeding can also be done.

Abstract

During the pandemic situation, laboratories with a limited number of equipment cannot be used to their full capacity to avoid over crowded. Thus, innovation is needed in the design and arrangement of laboratories so that they can be accessed remotely with flexible schedule. However, when the community service team studied cases of teaching and learning practices during the pandemic, problems were found, among others, the imbalance between the number of tools and users, as well as limited practical opportunities in online-based learning. Therefore, in this community service a remote laboratory which could be accessed from where the users were as long as they connected to the internet was designed to provide solution to the problems. The designed remote laboratory utilized the Internet of Things (IoT) to help students do practicum on the topic Microspcope by using a remote desktop employing TeamViewer technique as a tool to access the lab computers with the users’ device. As expected, it is proven that remote laboratory can be used to overcome the imbalance between the number of laboratory equipment and laboratory users, and to avoid dangerous crowds during the pandemic as it can be accessed from where the users are located as long as they are connected to the internet.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the application of android-based media Smart with Pneumatics V.1.0 on student learning outcomes on the pneumatic component mechanism material. “Smart with Pneumatics V.1.0” is a learning media in the form of an Android-based computer program. This study uses a pre experimental design research method with the form of the research design used is one group pretest posttest design. The population used was students who contracted Pneumatics and Hydraulics courses in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year as many as 63 students. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant influence in the application of android-based media "Smart with Pneumatics V.1.0" on student learning outcomes in the pneumatic component mechanism material for the Pneumatics and Hydraulics course and the average N-Gain value obtained is in the medium category.

Abstract

Nowadays, water faucets play an important role in controlling water flow. Besides that, faucets are generally moved manually by every human activity by turning or moving the faucet up or down. This manual faucet system has weaknesses, namely water wastage and easily damaged faucets. The use of automatic faucets in public facilities can minimize waste their use because generally people often forget to close the faucet again. Besides, using Arduino-based automatic water faucets can reduce the transmission of Covid 19 for the community, especially during the current pandemic. This activity aims to design Arduino-based automatic water faucets at public facilities to reduce the spread and transmission of COVID-19, especially in the Girimekar Village area, Bandung Regency. The target of this activity is youth and cadets in the area. The implementation of the Arduino-Based Automatic Water Faucet design in training resulted in a prototype unit of Arduino-based automatic water faucet using the ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 as detection and use of an electric solenoid valve as a form of direct water control.

Abstract

One of the user interface problems in an internet of things (IoT) system is influenced by monitoring which is easy to access, flexible and efficient in its use, has been discussed a lot but the problem is still unresolved, one solution to this problem is by presenting the Adafruit mqtt, which by using the mqtt Adafruit user interface for monitoring on an internet of things system can facilitate control and remote control. In this case the use of Adafruit mqtt is used to monitor electrical loads and improve power factor. This research presents an internet of things system that is capable of monitoring electrical load and improving power factor that already uses the Adafruit mqtt as its user interface. The method used is through the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) approach. The results showed that this system is feasible to use because based on the experimental results this system is able to work well and provide convenience for users and can monitor in real time current, voltage, energy, frequency, power factor, real power, apparent power, and reactive power. only by using smartphones, laptops, tablets, or computers. It is hoped that in the future this research will be able to continue to be developed so that the use of electrical energy in industry can be much more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Electricity plays an important role in the functionality of a building. To ensure the required electrical competencies are met, it is essential to provide appropriate training. Therefore, this community service program based on the needs of the assisted village aimed at providing training to potential dropout youths, equipping them with skills in operating and maintaining building electrical installations, enhancing awareness regarding the importance of proper and correct electrical installations, and fostering energy-independent village. The training included several stages namely preliminary study, planning, implementation, mentoring, monitoring and evaluation. The results of the activity showed that the participants of the training obtained operational as well as building electrical system maintenance skills. These acquired competencies led to the improved standard of living, increased welfare, and the prevention of hazards resulting from errors in electrical installation and maintenance within the village of Giri Mekar. The outcome of this community service activity was that in the assisted village a number of skilled installer cadres had emerged, possessing skills in the operation and maintenance of building electrical installation systems.
