Abstract

Abstract. The doctrine of God contains of unending discussion and special characterized by trinity, the main doctrine of Christianity, holds specific character, lays on soteriology and relates to the work of redemption. Furthermore, it plays significantly as an antithesis to other faiths, as the consequence, this Christian identity being a subject of dialogue in interreligious society, even within believers’ circle. However, this topic encompasses surround disciplines, including, specifically speaking, socio-politics. In the other side, Pancasila, a state ideology of Indonesia, occupies the faith of its citizens by accommodating the humanity-divinity relationship in a very sensitive way. This academic work intends to supply alternative perspectives to theology and socio-politics tension. Specifically speaking, evaluates any possibilities of dialogue between the doctrine of God in John Owen Thought and the first principle of Pancasila. The result of this research suggests numerical code as the possibility of conversation between them.

Abstract

Abstract. The encounter between religion and culture receives resistance as it is considered as the syncreticsm. Acculturation approach, however, offers alternative contribution to the tension of leadership with its cultural features. Paul transformational leadership and Minahasa leadership philosophy are two discussion materials that potentially could donate insight with acculturative construction. The research question that lead this work was how is Pauline transformational leadership and Minahasan leadership philosophy acculturative construction? This research attempted to see possibities that could be an alternative contribution to cultural and Christian leadership discussion. This research involved to leadership tension with qualitative and ethnography approach. Sources such as book, article, and academic essay were combined with field interview. In sum, collaboration between Paul transformational leadership and Minahasa leadership philosophy offers a new modification and construction perspective, a continuity leadership and dichotomous with solid cultural identity.Abstrak. Perjumpaan antara agama dan budaya menerima resistensi karena dianggap sebagai realisasi sinkretisme. Namun pendekatan akulturasi menawarkan alternatif yang kontributif bagi gejolak krisis kepemimpinan bercorak budaya. Konsep kepemimpinan transformasional Paulus dan falsafah kepemimpinan di Minahasa merupakan dua objek diskusi yang berpotensi menyumbangkan pemikiran baru jika dikonstruksikan secara akulturatif. Rumusan masalah yang menuntun penelitian ini adalah, bagaimana konstruksi akulturatif kepemimpinan transformasional Paulus dan falsafah kepemimpinan Minahasa? Penelitian ini mencoba untuk melihat kemungkinan  yang dapat menjadi kontribusi alternatif bagi diskusi kepemimpinan kultural dan Kristen. Penelitian ini mendekati problematika kepemimpinan dengan metode kualitatif dan etnografi. Sumber pustaka seperti buku, artikel dan naskah akademik lainnya dikombinasikan dengan hasil wawancara di lapangan. Sebagai hasilnya, kolaborasi konsep kepemimpinan transformasional Paulus dan falsafah kepemimpinan Minahasa menawarkan sebuah modifikasi dan konstruksi baru, kepemimpinan yang kontinuitas dan terdikotonomikan dengan identitas budaya yang kuat.

Abstract

Civil court justice shares the nature of mediation as part of litigation process. However, criminal procedure code does not accommodate penal mediation by litigation and non-litigation process. Therefore, penal mediation is considered as an Alternative Dispute Resolution in criminal law. This article attempts to build conversation between jurisprudence and theology, especially speaking the nature of mediatorship of Christian teaching that could be considered as beneficial donates for future penal mediation in criminal law in Indonesia. This research is qualitative work. Literatures, articles, books and related references will receive attention. In conclusion, penal mediation applies to litigation and non-litigation tract, the state should conduct its implementation, modern law maintains its legacy, Christology serves the initiation, and penal mediation pursues restorative justice.

Abstract

The personality of Satan shares massive discussion together with fluctuation. The debate plays surround his figurity and personality. Biblical period denotes distinct knowledge. This essay attempts to delve and explore the personality of Satan in the period of Midian-Persian to New Testament time especially in the Gospel. This research is a qualitative work that occupying literatures, articles and books to re-construc the personality of Satan. As the result,  the sociological infuences of Midian-Persian significantly contribute the knowledge of God’s people. They considers Satan as a symbol of war enmity. Further, in the Gospel period, Bible writters supply various of personality to describe Satan’s existence.
