Abstract

Fish as a natural resource has a very high potential as a source of foreign exchange and income. Arrest of the proper techniques of some fish species will provide optimal benefits. The objective of this study is to analyze the financial feasibility of tuna fishing of PT Serena Marine in area of North Sulawesi Sea. Through certain assumptions and calculations of financial feasibility with present value concept (NPV, BCR and IRR) and profitability ratios such as ROA, ROI and ROE, also break-even point, and payback period. The result showed that, this business activity will be feasible and profitable. The results show that based on those profitability indicators were above 1%, NPV calculated is positive, BCR is 1.62 or > 1 while IRR is 46 % and greater than discounted interest rate using in this financial analysis, Payback period will be achieved on the year 25thmonths or after 2 years of operations. It shows the activity of tuna fishing by PT Serena Marine, is feasible in financial aspect.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between creativity, innovation, and the feasibility of business ideas created by students while taking entrepreneurship courses. Data were collected using an online questionnaire. Hypothesis testing uses structural equation modeling. The test results show that creativity has no direct effect on the feasibility of a business idea. Creativity affects the feasibility of a business idea through innovation. Creativity has a positive impact on innovation, and innovation positively impacts the feasibility of a business idea. This research proves creativity itself is not enough to produce a viable business; it requires innovation.

Abstract

Abstract- The research objectives were to determine: 1) The description of performance, organizational culture, education and training, competence and work motivation of Indonesian National Police members at the Traffic Directorate of East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police; 2) The influence of organizational culture, education and training, competence and work motivation on the performance of Police members at the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Traffic Directorate. The study was conducted on all members of the East Nusa Tenggara Police Traffic Directorate with 145 respondents. The data collected were analyzed descriptively based on the results of processed data using the method of Structural Equation Model. The results of descriptive analysis showed that the achievement of the indicators for each variable is as follows: Performance = 67.68 (Good Enough), Organizational Culture = 68.84 (Good), Competence = 67.93 (Good Enough), Education and Training = 67.45 (Good Enough), and Work Motivation = 68.55 (Good). Furthermore, the results of SEM analysis showed that Organizational Culture, Education and Training, Competence and Work Motivation had a positive and significant effect on the Performance of the investigated Police Members. This research is still limited to the 4 variables used so that testing is needed on other variables such as; leadership style, compensation, work atmosphere, work facilities and others with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the description of corporate value and the influence of liquidity and profitability to firm value with dividend policy as intervening variable of pharmaceutical sub sector manufacturing companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2013 until 2017. Liquidity in this research is measured by using current ratio (CR), profitability is measured by return on equity (ROE), dividend payout ratio (DPR), and firm value measured by price to book value (PBV). This research uses secondary data obtained from pharmaceutical sub-sector manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data analysis method uses Quantitative Descriptive Analysis, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis and Path Analysis. Data is processed using SPSS data analysis package software version 24.0. The overall conclusion is liquidity and profitability simultaneously or partially have a positive and significant effect on dividend policy, while liquidity, profitability, and dividend policy simultaneously have a positive and significant effect to firm value. But partially liquidity and profitability have a negative and significant effect to firm value, while dividend policy has a positive and significant effect to firm value. And, dividend policy is able to mediate the influence of liquidity and profitability to the value of pharmaceutical sub-sector manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to know: (1). Leadership profile, discipline, training and employee performance at RSUD S.K. Lerik Kupang City (2). The influence of leadership on the performance of RSUD S.K. Lerik Kupang City (3). The influence of employee discipline on the performance of RSUD S.K. Lerik Kupang City (4). Effect of training on the performance of RSUD S.K. Lerik Kupang City. The study was conducted on all members of the employees at RSUD S.K. Lerik Kupang City. The sampling technique used the census method, thus the number of samples was 232 peoples. The data collected were analyzed descriptively based on the results of processed data using the method of Structural Equation Model. The results of the descriptive analysis describe the achievement of the performance variable indicators are 78.43% (good category); achievement indicator variable leadership is 79.27% (good category); achievement indicators for discipline reached a score of 80.47% (good category); and the achievement of the training variable indicator is 77.80% (good category). Based on the SEM analysis with AMOS, the results showed that the leadership and training variables had a significant effect on the performance of the employees of RSUD S.K. Lerik Kota Kupang with CR values of 3,589 and 10,974 respectively. The same analysis shows that the discipline variable has no effect on the performance of the employees of RSUD S.K. Kupang City Lerik. This can be seen from the CR value of only 0.662.   Keywords: Employee Performance, Leadership, Discipline, Training   Abstrak   Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui: (1). Profil kepemimpinan, disiplin, pelatihan dan kinerja pegawai di RSUD S.K. Lerik Kota Kupang (2). Pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja RSUD S.K. Lerik Kota Kupang (3). Pengaruh disiplin pegawai terhadap kinerja RSUD S.K. Lerik Kota Kupang (4). Pengaruh pelatihan terhadap kinerja RSUD S.K. Kota Lerik Kupang. Penelitian dilakukan pada seluruh pegawai di RSUD S.K. Kota Lerik Kupang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sensus, sehingga jumlah sampel adalah 232 orang. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data menggunakan metode Structural Equation Model. Hasil analisis deskriptif menggambarkan ketercapaian indikator variabel kinerja sebesar 78,43% (kategori baik); indikator pencapaian variabel kepemimpinan adalah 79,27% (kategori baik); indikator pencapaian disiplin mencapai skor 80,47% (kategori baik) dan ketercapaian indikator variabel pelatihan sebesar 77,80% (kategori baik). Berdasarkan analisis SEM dengan AMOS diperoleh hasil bahwa variabel kepemimpinan dan pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai RSUD S.K. Lerik Kota Kupang dengan nilai CR masing-masing sebesar 3.589 dan 10.974. Analisis yang sama menunjukkan bahwa variabel disiplin tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai RSUD S.K. Lerik Kota Kupang. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai CR yang hanya sebesar 0,662. Kata kunci: Kinerja Karyawan, Kepemimpinan, Disiplin, Pelatihan

Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang menjadi kriteria pencapaian tujuan organisasi atau instansi adalah melacak dan mengetahui seberapa besar kinerja karyawan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah perencanaan sumber daya manusia, analisis pekerjaan dan penempatan karyawan secara parsial atau bersamaan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai di Pemerintah Kota Kupang, Kecamatan Maulafa. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 orang menggunakan metode saturated sample. Hasilnya sekaligus berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai di Pemkot Kupang, Kecamatan Maulafa dan sebagian perencanaan SDM berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai di Pemkot Kupang, Kecamatan Maulafa. Sementara itu, penempatan kerja dan analisis pekerjaan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai di Pemkot Kupang, Kecamatan Maulafa. Kepemimpinan Pemerintah Kota Kupang, Kecamatan Maulafa, harus memperhatikan faktor Perencanaan Sumber Daya Manusia dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

Basically, there are two main problems faced in the recreation location especially in outdoor. One side, the rate of visiting some tourism objects is still low until now. It raises an assumption that recreation location doesn’t create any opportunity in regional and domestic economy. On the other hand, undervalue of recreation services, based on the willingness to pay caused a very low attractiveness of investment in tourism objects. To solve these problems, one should be able to predict the number of recreation location demand, so that a good planning and development could be implemented in this estimated area. One of the very common methods to calculate this demand is to use the travel cost methods. Many independent variable could be implemented in a multiple linear regression model, depends on the objective of the research. Somehow, a valid data is necessary in the application of statistical and quantitative analysis. Experiences showed a significant result of analysis using this travel cost methods.

Abstract

Artikel ini mereview faktor yang memengaruhi kinerja pegawai, yakni: Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) yang dijadikan variabel intervening, kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi, kedisiplinan kerja, beban kerja, dan budaya organsiasi. Kajian manajemen sumber daya manusia pada pegawai SMK Santo Aloisius Ruteng. Artikel ini ditulis guna merancang hipotesis yang memengaruhi antarvariabel agar bisa dipergunakan untuk kajian berikutnya. Abstract

Kajian sebelumnya yang masih ada keterkaitan memiliki peranan krusial untuk suatu kajian ilmiah. Kajian sebelumnya itu berperan sebagai penguat teori maupun kejadian atau keterkaitan/dampak antarvariabel. Artikel ini mengulas faktor yang berdampak pada loyalitas karyawan, seperti ketidakamanan kerja, iklim organisasi, maupun pengembangan karier memanfaatkan kepuasan kerja untuk menjadi variabel mediasi bermetode studi literatur. Penulisan kajian ini bertujuan agar bisa merancang hipotesis terkait dampak antarvariabel agar bisa dipergunakan ke kajian berikutnya. This article examines the Influence of Competence, ROA, ROE, and DER on Stock Returns Literature Review of the Company's Financial Management.
