Abstract

Sekolah alam biasanya hanya diperuntukkan bagi kalangan menengah keatas dan fokus pada anak normal. Namun berbeda dengan Sekolah Alam Ramadhani Kediri, yang menjadikannya sebagai sekolah inklusi dan untuk kalangan menengah kebawah. Fenomena ini menarik peneliti untuk mengetahui praktik pendidikan inklusi di sekolah tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik penggalian data adalah dengan wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: Sekolah Alam Ramadhani memiliki prinsip memanusiakan manusia, tanpa membedakan antara anak normal dengan anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK). Pendidikan inklusi di Sekolah Alam Ramadhani berkiblat pada Ki Hajar Dewantara, dan mengadopsi sistem “Among”. Dalam praktiknya: anak normal dan berkebutuhan khusus mendapatkan pendampingan dan fasilitas sama, pada keduanya ditanamkan kasih sayang dan toleransi, serta untuk ABK, didampingi untuk mengembangkan bakat alami yang dimilikinya. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisa hubungan panjang dan berat ikan bawal bintang (Trachinotus blochii) pada sistem keramba jaring apung (KJA) Integrated multi trophic aquaculture (IMTA) dan Monokultur. Keramba jaring apung IMTA diaplikasikan pada Stratified double net cage (SDNC). Penelitian ini dilakukan di kawasan Sea Farming Karang Lebar kepulauan Seribu, di dua lokasi yaitu : lokasi A adalah kawasan budidaya sistem IMTA dengan jenis biota ikan bawal bintang (Trachinotus blochii) dan ikan kerapu macan (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus,Forsskal). Lokasi B adalah kawasan budidaya monokultur dengan jenis biota bawal bintang (Trachinotus Blochii). Hasil penelitian analisa hubungan panjang dan berat ikan di kedua lokasi menunjukan pola alometrik positif  b > 3, dan berdasarkan kondisi fisik dan kimia perairan laut dari kedua lokasi penelitian terdapat perbedaan namun, secara umum masih menunjukkan dalam kisaran normal yaitu konduktivitas berkisar antara 4,53 – 5,05 mS/cm, kecerahan berkisar antara 23,21 – 25,50 mg/l, turbiditas berkisar antara 19,89 – 27,00 mg/l, Dissolved Oxygen (DO) berkisar pada 6,09 – 7,50 mg/L, salinitas berkisar antara 25,09 – 32,37ppt, pH berkisar antara 7,21 – 7,96 dan temperatur berkisar antara 29,33 – 31,40 oC. Kata kunci :  Bawal bintang (Trachinotus blochii), IMTA, Monokultur, pola pertumbuhan

Abstract

Theoretically environmental isotopic compositions ofprecipitation decrease with increasing altitude. Linear regression analysis was applied to environmental isotopic compositions (δ18O, δ2H) data on 15 precipitation samples collected along an altitudinal 126 to 1260 m.asl from November 2011 to February 2012 to determine the local meteoric water line for southern slope of mount Merapi. Merapi meteoric water line (MMWL) is an equation that describes the relationship between isotopic compositions of precipitation with altitude. This study was completed as part of a larger research of the groundwater dynamics studies using natural isotopes for southern slope of mount Merapi.Isotopic compositions of precipitation samples were measured using Liquid-Water Stable Isotope Analyzer LGR DLT-100 at the Center for the Application of Isotopes & Radiation Technology Laboratory, National Nuclear Energy Agency (BATAN), Jakarta. Regression results for the precipitation samples for southern slope of mount Merapi yielded a MMWL defined by the equation δ2H=8.332 δ18O+15.068(r2 =0,998); the change of isotopic compositions in precipitation with altitude of about -1.2%d100m for deuterium and -0. 1 %dl 00m for oxygen-18.This equation will be useful as reference for hydrological dynamics studies on the southern slope of mount Merapi that use isotopes of 2H and 18O to trace sources of ground-water recharge, to evaluate mixing of sea-water and groundwater, to analyze groundwater-mineral exchange, and to analyze many other groundwater contamination problems.Keywords: precipitation, isotope ratio, isotopic composition, m.asl, MML .

Abstract

Steam turbine in sugar plant already used as prime mover for exchanged the earlier model was steam engine. In fact, the operation of steam turbine in milling season many failures accured and have not been predicted before so that the system have low in operation.In this research, steam turbine would be analyzed their failure mode during milling season. The model has been constructed from many failure mode data operation and maintenance that was taken for 4 years (2006-2009). Weibull rank regression is used for this analysis, with the results of 2 (two) weibull parameter, consist of number shape parameter β=2.99, scale parameter η=1967.Interpreting number of those weibull parameter based on bath tub curve failure mdel, indicated that the steam turbine failure characterized as wear out model with failure rate increasing to mission time. Average life MTBF=82 days (no stop milling, 1 day=24 hours).To determine maintenance policy based on prediction component life with the result of speed controller (MTBF=984.6 hours), governor valve (MTBF=1649 hours), bearing turbine (MTBF=1892 hours), and lubrication turbine system (MTBF=1026 hours).With the MTBF life data, we can control the operation and maintenance steam turbine in sugar plant so minimize risk and failure during milling season. Keywords : failure, MTBF, milling, maintenance, weibull parameter

Abstract

Background: Stress due to lack of feed that followed excessive activity is a trigger factor learning and memory disorder center in the hippocampus. Cornu ammonis (CA3 and CA1) in the hippocampus is a structure that is central to learning and memory. Complete nutrient content of feed is supporting the regeneration of the structure of CA3 and CA1 in the hippocampus impaired due to stress . This research was conducted to obtain a histological improvement layers of CA3 and CA1 hippocampus in the rat brain after supplementation with snakehead fish meat in the  feed of post-stress.Design and Method: This study uses a completely randomized design consisting of                 6 treatments with 4 replications. Test animals used were male Wistar rats. Treatments, including P0: control, namely Wistar rats were conditioned to stress during the six days that followed the feeding without supplementation of snakehead fish meat for 14 days; P1, P2, P3, and P4, respectively Wistar rats were conditioned stress followed by supplemental feeding snakehead fish meat 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. The research variables measured the thickness of the layer of CA3 and CA1. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) at the level of 95% and continued with Duncan test with 95% significance level .Result: Supplemental feeding with snakehead fish meat as much as 15% during 14 days in Wistar rats after stress gives the best effect on the improvement of CA3 and CA1 layer of the hippocampus, respectively 53.60 μm2 (17.49%) and 46.31 μm2 (78,32%), better than the control.Conclusion: Feeding the snake head fish meat supplementation for 14 days in Wistar rats after stress can improve layer CA3 and CA1 in the hippocampus of the brain. Recommended snake head fish meat can be used as a feed supplement to improve the structure of CA3 and CA1 in the hippocampus and very good to support the learning and memory functions of the brain. Keywords: snakehead fish meat, Channa striata, cornu ammonis, supplementation, hippocampus, learning and memory

Abstract

Physiological Stress and nutritional deficiencies that followed excessive activity is a trigger factor disturbance structure and function of the duodenum. Organ in the duodenum has the ability to regenerate periodically after experiencing problems due to physiological stress. Nutrient content of feed determine organ regeneration process duodenum of the small intestine. This study was conducted to assess, analyze and determine the concentration of fish meat cork to increase in diameter, villous length, the thickness of the layer of the mucosa, submucosa and muscularis duodenum of Wistar rats after conditioning the physiological stress.This study used 20 male Wistar rats consisted of 5 treatments with 4 replications. The treatment in this study consisted of P0: control, test animals were conditioned stress followed six days of feeding without supplementation with fish meat cork; P1, P2, P3, and P4 are test animals that were conditioned stress for 6 days and fed with supplementation of fish meat cork for 14 days, respectively 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% of the time after conditioning stress. This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD). The parameters measured in this study is the diameter, villous length and thickness of the layers of mucosa, submucosa, and muscularis duodenum of the small intestine. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) followed by Duncan test with 95% significance level. The results of this study are feeding the fish meat cork can improve the structure of histologic duodenum after  stress conditioning and feeding with supplementation of fish meat cork with a concentration of 15% giving effect to increase in diameter, the length of villi, and the thickness of the lining mucosa, submucosa, and muscularis duodenum, respectively -turut 2520 μm, 576.34 μm, 506 μm, 123.34 μm and 72.34 μm respectively higher 23.43%, 46.37%, 45.26%, 50.31%, and 22 , 95% compared to controls. It concluded supplementation with fish meat cork in feed can be used to improve the structure and function of post-stress duodenum.Keywords: stress, supplements, duodenum, cork fish, Channa striata, Wistar

Abstract

Local ducks in Indonesia there are several kinds, for example Tegal ducks, Magelang ducks and Pengging duck each having characteristics different somatometri. Research on somatometri ducks that includes body weight, leg length, beak length, wing length, body length, and long-neck ducks important to know somatometri of each duck. This study aimed to analyze the differences somatometri at Tegal ducks, Magelang ducks and Pengging duck, which includes weight, leg length, beak length, wing length, body length, and a long neck. Ducks were used in this study maintained in the Central Breeding and Raising Ducks Work Unit Non Ruminant Livestock Banyubiru, Ambarawa. The study was conducted by measuring somatometri of each six monthold ducks. Duck samples taken from three different types of ducks that Tegal duck, Pengging duck and Magelang duck, of each type of sample taken many ducks as 6 tails. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) with the differentiating factor is the type of duck. If the data were analyzed contained a real difference, then do a further test using the test Least Significant Differences (LSD) at 95% confidence level. The results showed that there was no significant difference in all parameters of the study. Conclusion of the study three types of ducks will have somatometri not unlike that includes, weight, leg length, beak length, wing length, body length and the length of the neck.
