Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan tingkat kepuasan kerja guru yang ditinjau dari jender dalam kepemimpinan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru SMP Negeri 2 Kartasura dan SMP Negeri 3 Kartasura yang berjumlah 48 orang. Hasil analisis menggunakan t-test diperoleh nilai t sebesar 3,343 dengan p < 0,01 menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang sangat signifikan kepuasan kerja pada guru ditinjau dari jender kepemimpinan, dengan rerata empirik kepemimpinan laki-laki sebesar 143,652 dan rerata kepemimpinan perempuan sebesar 128,880. Dengan demikian kepuasan kerja guru yang dipimpin kepala sekolah laki-laki lebih tinggi dibandingkan kepala sekolah perempuan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the difference of work satisfaction based on gender leadership. The participants of this research is 48 teachers from SMP Negeri 2 Kartasura and SMP Negeri 3 Kartasura. The result of this research shows t-test about 3,348 (p < 0.01). It tells us about the difference of work satisfaction based on gender leadership which is the empiric mean for male leadership around 143,652 and for female leadership around 128,990. This result shows that teacher work satisfaction who had male leadership is higher than who had female leadership.Key words: gender in leadership, work satisfaction

Abstract

Penelitian ini diinspirasi oleh peningkatan perilaku seksual dalam berpacaran dan faktasemakin mudahnya akses pornografi bagi anak. Tujuan studi adalah mengidentifikasikebutuhan akan informasi seksualitas pada remaja. Guna mendapatkan pemahaman yangkomprehensif dilakukan survei terhadap 530 remaja yang berusia 11-18 tahun, terdiri dari261 laki-laki dan 269 perempuan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif denganmengkategorisasikan respon dari partisipan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa remaja inginmengetahui tentang enam hal yakni perilaku seksual, hubungan seksual, makna sekssebenarnya, sistem reproduksi, dan problem seksual.AbstractThis research was inspired by the increasing of adolescent’s sexual behavior in courtship andthe fact that pornography recently more accessible to children. The purpose of this study is toidentify the needs of adolescent for sexual information. In order to gain an understanding ofthe needs of adolescents in a comprehensive manner, survey was conducted to gather data.Around 530 adolescents from 11- 18 years old participated to the survey, which consisted of261 male students and 269 female students. The data collected analyzed descriptively, bycategorizing responses from participants. The findings show that adolescents want to knowabout sexuality including six categories of topic, that are sexual behavior, intercourse, thetrue meaning of sex, reproductive system, psychosexual and sexual problem.

Abstract

Introduction :  Mobilization is important to optimize body’s physiological function. The inhibiting factors of patient who doesn’t less motivation do mobilization are pain of surgery wound, afraid to move the extremity. One effort to improve the mobilization’s need is socialization of phone alarm as a reminder. The aims of this study was to analyze the effect of phone alarm socialization to mobilization in patient with post laparatomy surgery.Method : This study used pre-experiment design through one – shot case study. The samples taken were 14 patients with post laparatomy surgery at Gladiol surgery room in Dr. Soetomo Hospital of Surabaya period December 2013 to January 2014. The independent variable was phone alarm socialization, the dependent variable was mobilization in patients with post laparatomy surgery.Result : Based on this study, the mobilization in patients with post laparotomy surgery after being given phone alarm socialization, they were doing good in 8-24 hours, good enough in 36-48 hours, and less good in 60-72 hours after surgery.Discussion : It can be conclude that phone alarm socilization have effect to the mobilization in patients with post laparatomy surgery. Further research related to  the effect of phone alarm socialization to the mobilization of post laparotomy surgery at rehabilitation ward is needed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of economic literacy and conformity to consumer behavior. The research method used is a survey. The population in this study were MAN 3 Jakarta students with an affordable population of IIS and MIA 11th grade students totaling 150 students.The research aims to determine the effect of economic literacy and conformity on consumer behaviour. The research method used was a survey. The population in this study were MAN 3 Jakarta students with an affordable population of IIS and MIA 11th grade students totaling 150 students. The sampling technique was the Proportional Random Sampling with 105 respondents. The sampling technique used proportional random sampling. Based on the analysis of the requirements test, the data was normally distributed and had a linear relationship. The regression equation obtained is Ý = 23.908 - 0.430 X1 + 0.648 X2. Based on the test coefficient of determination, economic literacy and conformity have an effect on consumers by 29%. The lack of students’ understanding of basic economic concepts such as the difficulty of students managing their finances because they prioritize their wants rather than needs. Students who often spend time with their friends and easily influenced by their friends and have low economic knowledge and understanding, will tend to be easier to have a high level of consumer behaviour. Conclusion of the research stated there was negative influence of economics literacy to the consumptive behaviour on MAN students, meanwhile the conformity has a significant positive effect on that.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of competency, motivation and opportunity on the performance of civil service police unit at Pontianak city. The samplewas 34 employees of civil service police unit. The type of data used is primary data. The data collected through questionnaire and analyzed by multiple linear regression. The result showed that competency and opportunities affect performance, while motivation does not affect performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pendidikan berperspektif gender, faktor pendukung dan penghambat, dan hasil dari pelaksanaan pendidikan berperspektif gender pada anak usia dini di ECCD-RC Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah direktur yayasan, kepala sekolah, pendidik, dan peserta didik ECCD-RC. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pendidikan berperspektif gender di ECCD-RC dilaksanakan melalui pembiasaan, keteladanan, dan bermain yang tidak diskriminatif. Hasil dari pelaksanaan pendidikan berperspektif gender pada anak terlihat dalam interaksi peserta dengan pendidik, dan interaksi antarpeserta didik di kelas, melalui empat aspek analisis gender, yaitu akses, partisipasi, kontrol, dan manfaat. Beberapa faktor yang mendukung terlaksananya pendidikan berperspektif gender pada anak usia dini diantaranya adalah peserta didik masih bebas stereotype, pendidik yang pro keragaman, proses pembelajaran yang tidak diskriminatif, dan kerja sama yang baik antara pendidik dan orang tua. Selain faktor pendukung, ada beberapa faktor yang menghambat diantaranya: penghambatnya adalah: keterbatasan SDM, sarana prasarana yang belum 100% ramah dan aman, orang tua pendidik memiliki pandangan yang berbeda dengan ECCD-RC, dan minimnya waktu interaksi anak di ECCD-RC Yogyakarta.Kata kunci: pendidikan, gender, anak usia dini GENDER PERSCPECTIVE EDUCATION TO EARLY CHILHOODAbstractThis study aims to determine: the implementation of gender perspective education to early childhood, the supporting factors and inhibiting factors, and the result of gender perspective education to early childhood at ECCD-RC, Yogyakarta. This study used descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects were director of the foundation, principal, educator, and school students at ECCD-RC, Yogyakarta. The findings of the study are as follows: The implementation of gender perspective education to early childhood conducted through repeated action, role modelling, and indiscriminating play. The result of gender perspective education can be seen through interaction between students and teachers and interaction among students viewed from four gender analysis aspects, i. e. access, participation, control, and advantage. The supporting factors are: students are free from stereotyping, teachers appreciate diversity, learning process is indiscriminating, evaluation instrument is complete, and teachers and parents are being cooperative. Whereas, the inhibiting factors are the limitation of human resources, medium and infrastructure which are not 100 % children-friendly, different point of view between parents and staffs, and the minimum time for children to interact with their teachers.Keywords: education, gender, early childhood

Abstract

Coral reef ecosystems are essential for the survival of marine life, but the presence of coral reef are declined and decayed.Methods used in this study was a survey method. To retrieve the condition of coral cover using the line intercept transectwhile to determine management strategies using SWOT analysis. The average percentage of coral cover in 8 point researchstations at 50.10% are still in the good condition, which is in the north 3 m depth 53.51%, north 7 m depth 68.14%, east 3 mdepth 93.29%, east 7 m depth 15.93%, south 3 m depth 75.17%, south 7 m depth 20.53%, west 3 m depth 41.50%, and west7 m depth 32.79%. The strategies for coral reef ecosystem management, among others: 1) community-based management, 2)forming Kelompok Masyarakat Pengawas (Pokmaswas) institutions, 3) establish in Panjang Island as a marine conservationareas, 4) Ko-Management-based, 5) effort to improve the economy in order to support the increased knowledge of theimportance of conservation and management of coral reef ecosystem.

Abstract

One of cognitive abilities of students that should be trained and developed in the 21st century learning is high-level thinking skills. As higher order thinking skills are emerging trend in education, assessment instruments based on high order thinking skills (HOTS) principles are required. This study aims to develop a high-level thinking ability instrument for Physics subject of senior high schools which is intended to measure HOTS of senior high school students for Thermodynamic Materials in City of Nganjuk in East Java. The study was conducted in three stages, including initial development, trials, and measurement. The initial development stage included compilation, review, and validation, including content validation by experts. There are two sets questions A and B, consisting 20 questions respectively, with anchor items as much as 5 items. The measurement results show that HOTS-oriented test kits of Thermodynamics have obtained empirical evidence are suitable with partial credit model. The difficulty level of the test battery is in the range of -2.0 to +2.0, with the most difficult aspects in the sequence are analyzing, evaluating, and creating. The reliability of HOTS-oriented tests has met the high categorical requirements, and based on the total information function of the tests, it is appropriately used to measure the HOTS of learners with capability -2.3 to +1.6. Based on students? responses, the analysis ability is the highest skills followed by the ability to evaluate and create. HOTS-oriented tests developed can be used as the reference for the teachers to accommodate student?s higher order thinking skills.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan kreativitas pada siswa SD dan SDIT dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kreativitas pada siswa yang berinteligensi tinggi dan rendah. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu ada perbedaan kreativitas pada siswa SD dan SDIT dan ada perbedaan kreativitas pada siswa yang memiliki inteligensi tinggi dan rendah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD dan SDIT di Salatiga. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan alat tes TKF dan CPM. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis dwivariat uji-t, menghasilkan t antar kelompok sebesar -2.887 dengan p = 0.005 atau p &lt; 0.05 yang berarti ada perbedaan kreativitas yang signifikan pada siswa SD dan SDIT, dan sebesar 1.556 dengan p = 0.127 atau p &gt; 0.05 yang berarti tidak ada perbedaan kreativitas yang signifikan pada siswa yang memiliki inteligensi tinggi dan rendah. Sistem pendidikan memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 1.14 % terhadap kreativitas siswa dan inteligensi memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 7.2 % terhadap kreativitas siswa
