Abstract

Abstrak. Cabai merah besar (Capsicum annum l.) salah satu produk pertanian hortikultura yang banyak diusahakan oleh petani. Sumatera Barat dengan konstribusinya sebesar 5,83% atau sebesar 58.064 ton per tahun menghasilkan sentra produksi cabai yang berasal dari beberapa daerah akan tetapi yang menghasilkan produksi cabai terbesar berada di Kabupaten Solok yaitu 19.325 ton. Namun ironisnya harga cabai sering mengalami fluktuasi yang tidak teratur. Suatu ketika cabai bisa mencapai harga yang sangat mahal, lalu harga akan sangat jatuh ketika panen melimpah. Beberapa petani bahkan sampai membuang cabai-cabai hasil panen yang masih bagus karena harga jual cabai pada panen raya sangat rendah. Untuk membantu para petani dalam mengatasi fluktuasi harga tersebut, perlu dilakukan upaya-upaya pemanfaatan cabai merah menjadi aneka produk melalui pengolahan cabai merah dalam bentuk bubuk dengan rasa original. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan berupa penyuluhan kepada masyarakat tentang nilai kandungan gizi dan manfaat sari cabai dan mempraktekkan langsung pengolahan cabai menjadi bubuk cabai. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM ini masyarakat dapat mempraktekkan langsung pengolahan cabai menjadi bubuk cabai yang akan menjadikan peluang usaha yang baru bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

XYZ company in Sumatera area is operating in the business of oil palm plantation and oleochemicals processing. Its production is based on the supply of mostly from company-owned plantation. In this push system of raw material, production runs continuously resulting the reliability of the machine becomes essential. Material and spare part that support machine cannot be replenish at time when it needed. Thus, overstock can be due to the high cost of storing as well as the risk of storing products. This study aims to calculate minimum and maximum level of inventory that have been the most often stockout occur. The calculation is carried out by Minimum-Maximum Stock Level (MMSL) method on refillable oxygen, turalik oil, steel nut bolt 3/4x3”, steel nut bolt 3/4x4”, welding wire RB 26 dia. 3.2 mm and welding wire LB 52 dia. 3.2mm. MMSL in this study accommodate basic economic order quantity (EOQ). Calculation displays the minimum level, mximum level and optiml order quantity for all six materials. The results are then compared with the actual data and it was found that high fluctuations caused the minimum level results to be in high level and the range between the minimum-maximum levels becomes narrow. One aspect of the reckoning is the demand rate which is calculated by dividing the annual demand by the number of working days. Such justifications should not be used on data with high fluctuations. Therefore, MMSL with basic EOQ should be used on data with small standard deviation Keywords: level minimum, level maximum, safety stock, economic order quantity

Abstract

                                                                                                                                                   Palm Oil Mill is an industry that processes Fresh Fruit Bunches into Crude Palm Oil. The processing is supported by the use of several production machines, one of them is a sterilizer machine that works to boil TBS. Damage to the sterilizer machine can reduce the level of productivity. To overcome the occurrence of such damage, it is necessary to analyze the damage that occurred. Damage analysis was carried out using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis and Caused and Effect Diagram approaches. From the results of observations and interviews, there are 3 types of damage that often occur. Of the three damages, the type of error that needs to be corrected immediately is based on the value of the Risk Priority Number (RPN), namely damage to the leaky rubber packing door with an RPN value of 85.65. Meanwhile, other types of damage are Leaking Inlet Pipes and detached Aluminum Pipes which have RPN values of 52.48 and 28.9. Based on the analysis of the causes of damage to the rubber packing door, the company can make improvements to the maintenance system, use quality materials, training and socialization, budgeting costs, and monitoring work methods

Abstract

According to World Health Organization, one of the symptoms of someone infected with the corona virus is fever. Body temperature at the time of fever for adults is above 37 °C. Anticipation has been done by using a gun thermal scanner, which is expensive, not to mention how to use this tool, which requires direct physical contact when scanning. Recently, WHO has released a prevention protocol with the concept of physical distancing, which means that a safe distance between humans must be maintained at least 1.5 meters to prevent transmission. The current government program requires every agency to follow the health protocol during the transition period by implementing the New Normal. Correspondence activities at the Community Service Office such as the lurah or sub-district office have begun to be active again in serving the needs of the community, so this office will become a gathering place for many people, so that public services can be provided and also maintain the health of employees from physical contact with the people being served. must always apply the new normal health protocol to the public and serving officers so as not to contract the Covid-19 virus. The solution offered is to make a "thermal physical distance" tool, which is a tool that can be installed in an outdoor office for the needs of detecting guests / people who will visit the service office, the person can detect his body temperature on the installed device, its function is to minimize physical contact on the when detecting a person's body temperature. The plan is that this tool is designed, unlike the Thermal Gun which is usually used where the temperature checker is still near us, with this tool the officer does not carry out inspections, we just install it on the wall, with a motion detector, a person's temperature will be measured.

Abstract

Sayyid Madu is an MSME that sells products in the form of quality pure honey which was founded in 2021. This business started with selling trigona honey and apis dorsata honey online, and received a good response from consumers. The good response was especially for the type of trigona honey. This causes the demand for trigona honey to increase rapidly so that better trigona honey-producing bee cultivation techniques are needed. The goal is to get the best quality and increase production capacity. Trigona honey also has the potential to reach national and international markets due to its efficacy in medical cases. As cultivation developed, the number of trigona bee colonies increased from 7 colonies with honey production of approximately 10 kg/month, at the beginning of January there was an addition of 20 colonies. The increase in this colony is expected to produce honey with more production than usual. To produce lots and lots of quality Trigona honey, breeders must have super colonies, namely colonies with large numbers, dense density, aggressiveness and very active activity. The colony of course requires nectar-producing plant vegetation, namely all plants that have flowers. The yield depends on the spring in the forest area where the bees nest. The main problem faced by Sayyid madu SMEs is Trigona honey production which is still minimal and inconsistent. The lack of production of trigona bee honey is caused by food sources that are less available in nature. In addition, the harvesting equipment that is owned is still lacking so that it can hamper harvesting and affect the quality of the honey produced. There are three alternative solutions implemented in this PKM, namely: (1) making artificial vegetation on residential land, (2) procuring dynamo-based manual nectar suction equipment, and (3) logs for beehives.
