Abstract

ABSTRAKPengolahan tanah intensif yang bertujuan untuk membersihkan gulma dan menciptakan media tumbuh yang gembur pada lahan berlereng menyebabkan tertutupnya pori-pori tanah dan menghambat proses infiltrasi. Proses infiltrasi yang terhambat dapat memicu terjadinya erosi. Pemberian bahan organik (kompos) diharapkan untuk memperbesar kapasitas infiltrasi sehingga dapat mengurangi erosi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa besar erosi dan infiltrasi yang terjadi pada lahan hortikultura yang berlereng. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lapangan menggunakan metode petak kecil. Hasil penelitian rata-rata erosi yang terjadi pada lahan hortikultura berlereng pada petak teras guludan dengan kompos yaitu 6,54 ton/ha/tahun dan petak guludan tanpa kompos yaitu 4,45 ton/ha/thn. Rata-rata infiltrasi pada lahan hortikultura berlereng dengan perlakuan guludan tanpa kompos lebih tinggi (222552,01 mm/jam) dibandingkan dengan infiltrasi pada lahan hortikultura dengan perlakuan teras guludan dengan kompos (41464 mm/jam).Kata kunci : Erosi, Infiltrasi, Lereng

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine some physical properties of soil on strawberry plantation land in Rurukan urban Tomohon. The things observed in this research are: Soil Texture Weight Fill Soil Soil Porosity, Soil Permeability and Soil Water Level. Implementation of research activities in the field is done through the stages as follows: Data collection / soil samples were conducted on plots of strawberry plantation at the 15th week after planting consisting of: Land does not use compost and without plastic mulch (K0P0). Land with compost (K) and plastic mulch (P) with compost dose level, namely: 1) 0 ton / ha (K0P1); 2). 15 ton / ha (K1P1); 3). 30 ton / ha (K2P1); 4). 45 ton / ha (K3P1); And 5). 60 tons / ha (K4P1). That with compost treatment with different doses and plastic mulch and soil treatment resulted in differences in the percentage of sand, dust and clay fraction which then gave different values on the weight of soil contents, porosity, permeability and water content in strawberry plantation.Keywords: study. Abstract

ABSTRACTResearch of Green Open Space Identification is done in Residential of Griya Paniki Indahin the Sub-district Mapanget of Manado City. An important factor in current environmentalproblems is the large number human population. Population growth is a major factor affecting thedevelopment of settlements and the needs of facilities and infrastructure. Green open space isincreasingly into existence and turned into buildings to meets the needs of urban dwellers.This research was conducted to find out the green open space in the Griya Paniki Indah.Standard of Green Open Space requirement is obtained from literature study. Analysis to obtainthe results used in this study is a spatial analysis, that is by using geographic information systemsoftware, that serves to identify the existing Green Open Space. The results obtained that the areaof Green Open Space in Griya Paniki Indah Resident is 29.31 hectares or 16.95% of the total areaaccordance with applicable law. Based on this it is necessary to develop Green Open Space suchas green line/path or like city park and green environment and the return of natural green functionin the form of protected area.Keywords : Green Open Space, Griya Paniki Indah, Geographic Information System

Abstract

ABSTRACT Research has aimed to study the characteristics of physical soil on spinach (Amarantus Sp.) at Kalasey Village, Mandolang Sub-District, Minahasa Regency. Method has use for analysis was tabularis and for sampling was composite than analyzed to the laboratory for some variables such as: soil texture, permeability, and soil water content. Results have shown that the characteristics of physical soil were: texture (silty sand), permeability (rather fast) and the soil water content (well), so that these result were suitable for the growth requirements of spinach. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe study aims to determine the status of physical and chemical properties of soil on paddy soilin Kotamobagu Utara district. This research was conducted in November 2019 to January 2020using a survey method and laboratorios analysis. Soil samples were taken at thirteen points at adepth of 0 to 20 cm. The parameters measured were soila texture (Kang Biaw Tjwan method),pH (pH meter), C-organic (Walkley and Black method), nitrogen (Kjedhal method), phosphorus(Bray I method) and Potassium (Bray method I). Research data analysis using descriptiveanalysis. The results showed that soil texture in the research sites is silty loam, the content oforganic matter is in the range 1,25 % to 2,50 %, the content of soil pH is in the range 6,8 to 7,0 ,the content of the element nitrogen is in the range of 0.11% to 0.22% , phosphorus content in therange of 18.34 ppm to 23,21 , and potassium element content is in the range of 22,21 ppm to30,21 ppm. The chemical properties of paddy soils in Kotamobagu Utara District is at textureclass of silty loam and chemical properties of paddy soil with each respective criteria neutral soilpH, C-organic low to moderate, Nitrogen low to moderate, Phosphorus moderate and Potassiummoderate. In general, the physical and chemical properties of soil in paddy fields in KotamobaguUtara District are included in the criteria suitable for paddy soil.Key Word: Physical properties, chemical properties, Paddy Fields

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aimed to observe the effects of distributing goat manure on marginal soils with indicators of water spinach. It was conducted in pot experiment using goat manure treatment which consist of 0 ton/acre as control, 10 ton/acre; 20 ton/acre; 30 ton/acre and Phonska 300 kg/acre. There were 2 plants per hole. Incubation period of the goat manure was 2 weeks long. This research was done in 2 month. Research method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and 3 repetitions. Variabels analyzed were plant height, number of leaves, and wet basis of water spinach. Statistical test for the tabulated data was run by using Analysis of Variance (Anova) and Least Significant Difference (LSD). The result of this research showed that goat manure treatment has no real affect on the plan height, number of leaves and wet basis of water spinach, but there is a tendency from each goat manure treatment.
