Abstract

ABSTRACT   The  experiment  pot  of  the effect  compost in the critical  land on the  production  onions, peanuts, and soybeans, the goal is to get organic  agricultural  production and determine the optimal dose of compost for plant onions, peanuts and soybeans. Before  the experiment of compost treatment  was  conducted  the  compost and  soil  as  media plant  to analyse  the chemical  properties. After  the experiment of compost treatment  was conducted  the soil as  media  plant  to analyse the chemical properties. The  experiment  design of methode  was  used  complate  randamized design (CRD) with the  five treatment compost and four replication.   Dosage of compost consists of  0 tonnes/ha  (0 g/pot)  as a control,  30 tonnes /ha  (75 g /pot);  60 tonnes/ha (150 g/pot);  90 tonnes/ha (225 g/pot),  and 120 tonnes/ha (300  g/pot). The parameter were observed  wet  weight of  plants,  quantity and weight  beet  the production  plant of onions;  wet weight  of  plants, quantity and weight of  pod pea and  seed  the  production  plant  of  peanuts and  soyabeans.  The  data of  analysis  was  used  the  analysis  of variance (Anova)  and  the  least significant  difference (LSD). The results showed  that  treatment  of compost very significant  effect  on  the growth  and  production of plant onions, peanuts and soybeans. Treatment  compost  90 tonnes/ha (225 g/pot)  provide  growth and  yield  of  plant  onion, peanuts, and soybeans maximum. Keywords: compost, onion, peanut, soybean, critical land

Abstract

ABSTRACT Infiltration and permeability are soil parameters that can be used to describe the extent of land damage caused by the mining process. In accordance with Law No. 4.of 2009 on Mineral and Coal Mining, that reclaiming mining land is obligatory for every company that manages it. This study aims to determine the rate of infiltration and permeability on the reclaimed gold mined land. The research was conducted at the gold mining location of Bakan and Lanut. Infiltration measurements were carried out on straight line transect along the foot slope to the top slope. Measurements were made at two meter distance in 5 cm depth along the transect line direction using the Guelph Permeameter. Hydraulic conductivity was calculated from infiltration data. This research revealed that reclamation has positive effect in increasing of infiltration rate and permeability. Crop dan root growth should have contributed in increasing soil organic matter, root and microbial activities, which leads to improve soil texture and soil structure. Keywords: infiltration, permeability, reclaimed

Abstract

ABSTRACTLand use without regard to its ability to cause a decrease in the quality of the land, land degradation because they will affect the potential of land. Determine land capability class is expected that the potential of land owned by the obvious. This study aims to assess the potential of rural land capability classes based Kahuku. Research results showed that land potentially useful views of the class abilities gained in the research area of land where two six-unit class III land units with an area of 8.5 ha and a four unit class IV land with total area of 67.35 hectares.Key words : Potential Land, Capability Land

Abstract

ABSTRACT  The research on soil tailing was conducted to know its potency for corn (Zea may L.). It was arranged in descriptive survey descriptive methods and laboratory analysis for soil texture, permeability, total N, available-P and available-K, organic-C and soil pH.  Data analysis was done by matching the soil tailing characteristics and the criteria of land suitability for corn.  The result showed that the tailing was potencial for corn growth.  Keywords: Soil tailing, Soil potency

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of cow manure application on the growth of Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) on critical land in North Dumoga District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The study was conducted in a pot experiment with cow manure treatment consisting of 0 tons/ha as control, 15 tons/ha; 30 tons/ha; 45 tons/ha and Phonska 300 kg/ha. Number of plants per hole 2 plants. The incubation period for cow manure is 1 week. Research time for 2 months. The research method was an experiment with a completely randomized basic design (CRD) and 3 replications. The variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, and wet weight of pakcoy plants. Statistical testing for data that has been tabulated using Analysis of Diversity Fingerprint (Anova) and Analysis of the Least Significant Difference Test (BNT). The results of the study showed that the cow manure treatment had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves and wet weight of pakcoy plants. The application of cow manure in the P3 treatment (45 tons/ha) gave the highest yield on plant height, number of leaves, and wet weight of pakcoy plants. Keywords : Cow Manure, Pakcoy, Critical Land
