Abstract

Quantum Teaching with TANDUR principle is a learning model that apply six stages ,while learning to grow , natural , frontage , demonstrate , repeat , andcelebrate. This study aims to 1) compare the skill of mathematical communication students using model quantum teaching with TANDUR principle with students who use direct instructional model, 2) to increase the skill of mathematical communication students who obtain mathematical learning using a model quantum teaching with TANDUR principle, 3) evaluate the response students towards learning model quantum teaching with TANDUR principle.The method used in this study is a quasiexperimental method by taking a sample of eighth grade students as the experimental class C and F as the control class VIII SMPN 2 Kuningan. From the results of the post-test show that the mean of the control groups score are 44,77 then the mean of the experimental classes score is 51,50. The data that getting from post-test doesn’t come from the normal distribution. So, this data was compared by using MannWhitney (U) test. From the analyze, we know that

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) Whether the mathematical connection ability of students who get models learning CORE is better than students who get learning method lecture (2) Whether improvement mathematical connection ability of students who get models learning CORE is better than students who get learning method lecture 3) How is the response students towards mathematics with models CORE. This experimental study conducted at SMP 1 Lebakwangi in the second half for the academic year 2015/2016 with the draft pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMP 1 Lebakwangi. Sampling was done by using sampling techniques random simple. From the selected sample, one class into a class experiment, ie classes given models learning CORE and one class as the control class, the classes given learning method lecture. Measurement of mathematical connection ability tests performed using an instrument shaped mathematical connection abilities test description. This instrument has qualified the validity and reliability of the instrument. The results showed (1) mathematical connection ability of students who get models learning CORE is better than students who get learning method lecture. It is based on test results mean difference using the t test which showed (2) Improvement mathematical connection ability of students who get learning models CORE is better than students who get learning method lecture. It is based on test results mean difference using the U test which showed z count > z table yaitu z count = 4,66 > z table = 1,96 (3) The application of mathematics models learning CORE received a positive response based on the student questionnaire.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of learning Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) Assisted by GeoGebra Software for communication capabilities mathematically students in Geometry transformation material. The population in this study is a class XI student of SMK 3 Kuningan academic year 2013/2014. Election The sample was purposed random sampling, in the selection of samples obtained XI-TSM 2 students as the experimental class and XI-TSM 4 class as the control class. The experimental class is taught by learning Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) Assisted by GeoGebra Software, while the control class is taught with expository learning. Data retrieval was obtained by the results of the pretest and posttest to obtain data on the value of spatial abilities and mathematical communication skills of students which were then analyzed by a mean difference test. The results of the study were: (1) Improved mathematical communication skills of the experimental class students better than the control class. (2) There is a positive response between CAI learning developed
