Abstract

This study aims to describe the process and results of the development of mathematical LKPD and the quality of LKPD with the inquiry and culture of Jambi. This study uses the Research and Development (R & D) method that is used to produce certain products, namely developing mathematical LKPD. The development model used in this study is the ADDIE. In this development research there are two validators consisting of material expert validator test, learning design expert validator and media test, and also the user target of this product is IX grade junior high school students. The type of data taken in this study is in the form of qualitative data and quantitative data. The instruments used in the study were questionnaires and test results. The results of the study obtained an increase in students' mathematical creative thinking skills in the medium category based on the gain test seen that the score obtained was 0.4 in the medium criteria and students expressed a positive response to the developed LKPD. It can be concluded that mathematical LKPD developed very well and can improve students' creative mathematical thinking skills. Therefore this LKPD can be used by teachers and students in the learning process in the material to construct curved side spaces so that learning is more effective and obtains better learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the potential of Jambi culture that can be used as a learning resource in learning mathematics. The focus of the study is to identify culture in the form of objects so that it can be observed and used as an example of modeling mathematical arithmetic concepts. Researchers used a qualitative research approach with ethnographic methods. The research findings were analyzed using descriptive analysis. Based on the findings, there are several Jambi cultures that can be used as learning resources with an ethnomathematical approach, that are; Community work, community arts and crafts, traditional ceremonies, dance movements, music rhythms, folk games, temple relics. Implementation of this research, researchers can give advice in using material culture to be used as a source of learning mathematics. The novelty in this study is that the temple heritage is a Jambi culture that has the potential to be used as a source of learning mathematics.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian: Tujuan penelitian ialah melakukan analisis berpikir kreatif siswa independence dalam menyelesaikan soal open enden pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel.. Metodologi: Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Metode kualitatif adalah pengumpulan data pada stuatu latar alamiah dengan menggunakan metode alamiah dan dilakukan oleh orang atau peneliti yang tertarik secara alamiah. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Tanjung Jabung Timur sedangkan subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif field independence. Prosedur dalam penelitian ini meliputi tahap pra-lapangan, tahap pekerjaan lapangan, dan tahap analisis data. Temuan Utama: Melalui penelitian ini dapat diketahui secara keseluruhan gambaran ketercapaian aspek atau komponen berpikir kreatif siswa independence dalam menyelesaikan soal open ended pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel secara umum hanya memenuhi aspek fluency dan flexibility saja. Adapun persentase ketercapaian masing-masing aspek atau komponen berpikir kreatif adalah sebagai berikut: aspek fluency 62,5%, aspek flexibility 77%, serta aspek originality 0%. Keterbaruan/Keaslian dari Penelitian: Melalui penelitian ini maka dapat memperoleh gambaran ketercapaian aspek atau komponen berpikir kreatif siswa independence dalam menyelesaikan soal open ended pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel secara umum hanya memenuhi aspek fluency dan flexibility saja.
