Abstract

Introduction: Mother with secsio sesaria will find an problem, both a physical and psychological problems. A psychological problem that often happen in mother with secsio sesaria is an Anxiety problem. The aimed of this study was to know the effectiveness of "SAYANG BUNDA" in reducing the anxiety of seccio caesaria mother.Method: Quasy Experimental Pretest-Postest with contol group design was used in this study. The population in this study was mother with electif sectio sesaria who pregnant examinated in Darmo Hospital, William Both Hospital, Suwandi Hospital, Bunda Hospital and Darus Syifa' Hospital of Surabaya. Total sample was 60 people divided into 30 of intervention group and 30 of control. The samples was taken by Quota sampling. The effectiveness of "SAYANG BUNDA" to decrease anxiety was analyzed by using t test (independent samples t-test).Result: The Results of homogeneity test found that between control and intervention groups were homogeneous (p ≥  0.05). The results of this study indicate that there were signi fi cant differences on anxiety between control and intervention group (p = 0.00), the control group had an average higher anxiety than the intervention group after getting "SAYANG BUNDA". Similarly to the level of anxiety, anxiety levels decreased after getting "SAYANG BUNDA" (p = 0.018).Discussion: "SAYANG BUNDA" effective for reducing anxiety in women with secsio sesaria. The implication of this study is health education with "SAYANG BUNDA" can be applied to mothers with planned elective cesarean section at the time of antenatal education.

Abstract

AbstrakKeputusasaan merupakan penilaian negatif terhadap hasil yang akan dicapai dan ketidakberdayaan terhadap suatu harapan. Keputusasaan dapat terjadi pada keluarga dengan salah anggotanya di rawat dengan COVID-19 di ruang perawatan intensif karena perasaan keputusasaan akibat suatu keadaan ketidakpastian serta waktu yang tidak dapat dipastikan dalam penyembuhannya. Kondisi ini dapat berlanjut pada gangguan mental emosional maupun tindakan suicide. Oleh karena itu gambaran pengalaman keluarga pasien yang di rawat di ruang perawatan intensif dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif fenomenologi terhadap 6 partisipan yang bersuku jawa. Hasil penelitian didapatkan tujuh tema utama yaitu (1) Perpisahan sebagai akibat pasien perlu pengawasan, (2) Respon keputusasaan, (3) Disfungsi proses keluarga, (4) Kehilangan makna hidup, (5) Dukungan dan motivasi diri sebagai sumber koping menghadapi keputusasaan, (6) Hikmah spiritual dibalik keputusasaan stroke survivor dan (7) Dapat menjalani kehidupan dengan lebih baik. Penelitian ini menyarankan dikembangkannya standar asuhan keperawatan keputusasaan dan pemberian dukungan keluarga pasien yang dirawat diruang perawatan intensif khususnya pada rumah umum milik daerah di suku Jawa. Kata kunci: COVID-19, keputusasaan, kualitatifAbstractHopelessness is a negative assessment toward the results to be achieved and the helplessness of a hope. Hopelessness can occur in families with one of their members is hospitalized because of  COVID-19 in Intensive Care Unit because of hopelessness feelings due to uncertain time  of  recovery. This condition can lead to mental emotional disorders or suicide. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the family experiences of patients with covid 19 who are hospitalized in Intensive Care Unit. Phenomenological  descriptive qualitative research on 6 Javanese participants. The results of the study found seven main themes, namely (1) Separation as a result of patients need supervision, (2) Hopelessness response, (3) Dysfunction of the family process, (4) Loss of meaningful life, (5) Support and self-motivation as a source of coping in facing hopelessness, (6) Spiritual wisdom behind the hopelessness of stroke survivors and (7) Being able to live a better life. This study suggests the development of nursing care standards for hopelessness and providing family support for patients who are hospitalized in Intensive Care Unit, especially in regional public hospitals in the Javanese tribe.Keywords: COVID-19, hopelessness, qualitative

Abstract

 Housewives are one of the pillars of household strength, they have a role as a nurse in the household. Therefore, one of their responsibilities is to make sure their family members are always in a good health. Usually, the role of the mother as a nurse in the household should deal with hypertension problems. Thus, there are different perspectives among mothers to treat hypertension and those differences are needed to intervene as prevention for more severe illnesses, such as heart failure, kidney failure, and stroke. In this situation, the mother has a critical role to treat hypertension and prevent it becomes worse. This activity aims to empower women in a group called Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) through a program on treating hypertension properly in Wonokoyo Village.  The writers use several methods to conduct the empowerment, such as lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and fun games. As a result of this activity, most of the participants are able to understand the definition, criteria, signs and symptoms, and mild treatment of hypertension. There are 3 questions from the participants, they are the processing of healthy food, first aid for hypertension, and how to take hypertension medication. As an outcome of this community service activity, women as part of society could meet family needs one of which is to determine actions in the treatment of hypertension in the household, which in turn reduces the number of complications.   Keywords: Wonokoyo, empowerment, hypertension
