Abstract

This research was to know the increase of result learn and interest of learning mathematics at SMP IT Masjid Syuhada Kotabaru Yogyakarta, in Oktober-November 2011. Subject were collected amount to 17 people. The data collecting instruments included an assay test and interest questionnaire. The data were analyzed using analysis descriptive. The result of research indicated the approach of Think-Pair-Share can improve result learn and interest of learning mathematics at chapter one variable linear equation. Where average interest of learning mathematics of the students was indicated high with average 41,18. The result of learning increased from 68,71 to 79,76.

Abstract

The development of an increasingly advanced technology is one of the causes for cultural values to fade and be marginalized. Therefore, exploration of culture is needed to support the sustainability of mathematics learning. this study aims to explore the mathematical concepts found in Riau Malay specialties and their application in mathematics learning. this research is a qualitative study using an ethnographic approach. The instrument used are human instrument. The researcher communicates directly with the object of research and participate actively in data collection, either by means of literature study, interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out by means of data reduction, presentation, analysis, and data exposure. The results of this study are in the form of mathematical concepts found in Riau Malay specialties, namely: point, line, bowstring, triangle, rectangle, regular, octagon, circle, rectangular pyramid, beam, and congruence. Mathematical concepts found in Riau Malay specialties can be used to introduce and understand mathematical concepts in learning through local wisdom.

Abstract

This study aimed to get empirical evidence about the effectiveness of STAD and TPS cooperative learning on junior high school students’ achievement and interest in mathematics. This study was a quasi- experimental research design with completely randomized factorial design. Sample were seventh grade students from two schools in Kebumen. The research instruments consisted of tests and interest questionnaire which contains questions and statement to determine the effectiveness of the learning model on students’ achievement and interest. The results showed that there was significant difference in achievement for STADA class (p = 0.046), STADB (p = 0.000), TPSA (p = 0.000), and TPSA (p = 0.042). In terms of interest, STAD and TPS significantly differed (p = 0.001, p <0.005). Multivariate analysis results show that there was interaction between learning model with the type of school (p = 0.001, p <0.005). It can be concluded that STAD and  TPS cooperative learning  were effective from the aspect of students achievement and interest in mathematics. ABSTRAKPenelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  memperoleh  bukti  empiris  tentang  keefektifan  model  pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan TPS ditinjau dari aspek prestasi dan minat siswa SMP terhadap matematika. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain completely randomized factorial design. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII dari dua sekolah yang ada di Kabupaten Kebumen. Instrumen penelitian  terdiri  atas  tes dan  angket  minat  yang berisi  soal-soal  uraian  dan  item pernyataan  untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran ditinjau dari aspek prestasi dan minat belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan prestasi yang signifikan untuk kelas STADA (p= 0,046), STADB (p= 0,000), TPSA (p= 0,000), dan TPSA (p= 0,042). Pada aspek minat, kelas STAD dan TPS juga berbeda signifikan (p=0,001,). Hasil analisis Multivariat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan jenis sekolah  (p=0,001). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan tipe TPS efektif ditinjau dari aspek prestasi maupun minat siswa terhadap matematika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika berupa media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan macromedia flash 8 pada materi sistem persamaan linier dua variabel (SPLDV) di kelas VIII SMP yang teruji kevalidanya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang dimodifikasi menjadi 4 fase, yaitu: (1) analysis; (2) design; (3) development; (4) evaluation. Instrumen pengumpulan data penelitian adalah lembar validasi media pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket skala likert. penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai dari validasi media pembelajaran pada tanggal ….kepada dua orang validator dan satu guru Matematika SMP.  Data validasi dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan cara menghitung rata-rata dari setiap pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi media pembelajaran sebesar 71.666 dengan kategori cukup valid. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan macromedia flash 8  pada materi sistem persamaan linier dua variabel (SPLDV) di kelas VIII SMP teruji cukup valid.  This study aims to develop mathematics learning media in the form of interactive learning media using macromedia flash 8 on the two-variable linear equation system (SPLDV) material in class VIII SMP whose validity has been tested. This research is a development research using the ADDIE development model which is modified into 4 phases, namely: (1) analysis; (2) designs; (3) development; (4) evaluation. The research data collection instrument is a learning media validation sheet. The data collection technique used a Likert scale questionnaire. This study was validated by two validators and one junior high school mathematics teacher. Validation data were analyzed descriptively by calculating the average of each meeting. The results showed that the results of the validation of the learning media were 71,666 with a fairly valid category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that interactive learning media using macromedia flash 8 on the material of the two-variable linear equation system (SPLDV) in class VIII SMP has been tested to be quite valid.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil validitas dan kepraktisan produk hasil pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis game edukasi dengan construct 2. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan merupakan media pembelajaran interaktif sehingga dapat meningkatkan antusias peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran ini bisa digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran tatap muka maupun pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model ADDIE, yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar angket validasi, angket respon guru dan angket respon peserta didik. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert. Objek penelitian ini berupa media pembelajaran dengan construct 2 pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar kelas VIII Sekolah Menengah Pertama atau Sederajat. Media diuji cobakan kepada 25 peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Babussalam Pekanbaru. Data validasi dan data kepraktisan yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan cara menentukan nilai rata-rata setiap instrumen. Rata-rata nilai validasi yang diperoleh yaitu 91,86% dengan kategori sangat valid. Rata-rata nilai angket respon guru yaitu 100% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan nilai rata-rata angket respon peserta didik adalah 84,27% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis game edukasi dengan construct 2 teruji kevalidan dan kepraktisannya.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe students' perceptions of the application of the Blended Learning model in learning mathematics during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMK Negeri 1 Sungai Apit. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The subjects of this study were 40 students from SMK Negeri 1 Sungai Apit. The object of research is students' perceptions of Blended learning during Covid 19. The research data are analysed by finding the percentage and describing students' perceptions of blended learning. Based on the results of the study showed that as many as 47% of students felt enthusiastic and liked the direct learning process because the learning methods used by teachers varied despite having limited time, 45% of students always experienced problems in accessing the learning provided by the teacher, and 46% of students dared to learn. express opinions, both face-to-face learning and online learning. Based on this research, it can be concluded that more students like Limited Face-to-face Meetings (PTMT) than online learning. Keywords: blended learning, online Learning, face-to-face, mathematics, perception. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang persepsi siswa terhadap penerapan model Blended Learning dalam pembelajaran matematika selama pandemi COVID-19 di SMK Negeri 1 Sungai Apit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 40 orang siswa yang berasal dari SMK Negeri 1 Sungai Apit. Objek penelitian adalah persepsi siswa terhadap Blended learning selama Covid 19. Data hasil penelitian di dianalisis dengan cara mencari persentase dan mendesripsikan persepsi siswa terhadap blended learning. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 47% siswa merasa antusias dan menyukai proses pembelajaran secara langsung karena metode pembelajaran yang digunakan guru bervariasi meskipun memiliki waktu yang terbatas, 45% siswa selalu mengalami kendala dalam mengakses pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru, dan 46% siswa berani belajar mengemukakan pendapat, baik pembelajaran tatap muka maupun pembelajaran online. Abstract

This study aims to produce android-based interactive learning media on transformation materials using a valid Articulate Storyline 2. This research method is research and development using the ADDIE model. This model is then modified according to the needs of the researcher into 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development. Collecting data using validity and practicality questionnaires from students. The data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative and qualitative analysis. The subjects of this study were two expert validators and practitioners, as well as fifteen students of class IX SMP. The results of the assessment of the four validators obtained an average rating of 87,19 with a very valid category. Then the results of 94,72 which is included in the practical category. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that interactive learning media based on android has been produced using Articulate Storyline 2 on transformation materials that have been tested to be very valid and also very practical.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic caused learning activities to immediately stop and be diverted online. There are many obstacles faced by teachers and students. Therefore, it is necessary to choose the right learning media so that the learning process remains optimal. One media that can be used as a learning media is a website. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the website as a media  for learning mathematics during the online learning period. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with survey method. The sample in this study were 15 students of class VIII SMP Nurul Falah Pekanbaru who were selected by simple random sampling technique. Data obtained using google form which contains statements related to 5 aspects of website assessment, clarity of material, interactivity, accessibility, nature of efficiency, and effectiveness. The results obtained by the majority of students like the website as a medium for learning mathematics. The effectiveness of using the website was in the quite good category, 40% of students said the website was very effective, 53,3% said it was effective, and only 6,7% said it was ineffective. Based on this, the website becomes an effective learning medium to be used during the online learning period.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kevalidan serta kepraktisan dari pengembangan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis powerpoint pada materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel kelas X di SMA. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Siak Kecil. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yaitu dari tahapan analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluate. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah wawancara dan angket. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi dan lembar angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penilaian validitas media pembelajaran yang diperoleh berdasarkan lembar validasi yaitu dengan nilai 82,67% maka media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan sangat valid. Uji coba dilapangan berdasarkan angket respon peserta didik diperoleh nilai 78,08% maka dapat dikategorikan media pembelajaran praktis. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis powerpoint ini sangat valid dan praktis digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.This study aims to test the validity and practicality of the development of powerpoint-based mathematics learning media on the material of a three-variable system of linear equations in class X. The subjects of this study were students in class X at SMAN 1 Siak Kecil. The type of research is development research using the ADDIE model, namely from the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluate. The methods used in data collection are interviews and questionnaires. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The results of the assessment of the validity of the learning media were obtained based on the validation sheet, namely with a value of 82.67%, the learning media developed was very valid. Field trials based on student response questionnaires obtained a value of 78,08%, so it can be concluding that the learning media is practical. So it can be concluded that this powerpoint-based learning media is very valid and practical to use as a learning medium.
