Abstract

The methodology used in this study was survey. Interview and observation were executed on 100 respondents (innovaators) in Kabupaten Bandung, selected randomly. The unit sampling was 50 respondents on rural area, and 50 respondents on urban area. The result of the study showed that: in the general, there was not significantly different between rural and urban areas in factors of human resources deveopment for innovators’ role and performance; all of respondents needed training and education program in leadership, effective communication, enterpreneurships, management of organization, skill of agriculture, skills of breeding, technology, rural economics, and human resources development; the man or institution hoped by respondents to involve in the program were agriculture instructure, nonformal organizations (non government organization), and university; on cognitive domain: respodents in rural area preferred science and skills of agriculture, breeds, and simple technology, whereas respondents in urban area preferred managerial and startegic aspects, like science of enterpreneurship, human resources development, leadership, and rural economics.

Abstract

The objectives of the study were: (1) To know the dynamics of Small and middle Scale Industry (SMSI) in Kabupaten Bandun; (2) Individual effectivity on SMSI in KabupatenBandung; (3) Marketing communication management effectivity on SMSI in Kabupaten Bandung; (4) The correlation between organization dynamics level and individual effectivity on SMSI organization in Kabupaten Bandung; (5) The correlation between organization dynamics level and effectivity of marketing communication management on SMSI in Kabupaten Bandung; and (6) The correlation between individual effectivity level and effectivity of marketing communication management on SMSI in Kabupaten Bandung. The methodology used in this study was Survey Methods, to conducted the manager and workers of Small Scale Industry in Kabupaten Bandung as population target. The sample size was 60 respondents selected randomly based on sampling Random sample, technique. The results of the study showed that: (1) The dynamics of SMSI organization concerning on anatomy, structure, and process organization was effective; (2) the individual on SMSI organization concerning on motivation, attitude, aptitude, temperament, and role perception was effective; (3) The effectivity of marketing communication management on SMSI in Kabupaten Bandung concerning on planning, actuating, controlling, and marketing communication mix was effective; (4) The correlation between the dynamics organization level and individual effectivity on organization SMSI was significan; (5) The correlation between the dynamics organization level and effectivity of marketing communication management on SMSI in Kabupaten Bandung, was significan; and (6) The correlaton between individual effectivity on organization and effectivity of marketing communication managementon SMSI in Kabupaten Bandung was significant.

Abstract

Ukuran kinerja dosen yang baik ditentukan oleh pencapaian setiap komponen dalam indikator akademik, penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Dalam pelaksanaannya sering ditemukan hal-hal yang memposisikan bahwa distribusi ketiga indikator tersebut tidak memenuhi standar yang ditetukan, apalagi ketika didasarkan kepada ukuran/alat dalam bentuk Beban Kinerja Dosen. Beberapa hal yang ingin diangkat dalam penelitian ini meliputi kemampuan dosen muda dalam pembelajaran, kehadiran dosen muda dalam proses pembelajaran, dan kesiapan dosen muda dalam meneruskan estapet pembinaan mata kuliah. Masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini meliputi hal-hal sebagai berikut:1) Bagaimana kemampuan dosen muda dalam proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas? 2) Bagaimana komitmen dan tanggungjawab dosen muda terhadap tugas pokok dan fungsi sebagai tenaga dosen? 3) Bagaimana pola-pola kadersisasi dilakukan dalam pengembangan keilmuan dan pengembangan profesi? Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif kualitatif dengan menggungkan instrumen terbuka, wawancara, dan studi dokumentatif terhadap hasil-hasil kerja dosen. Hasil yang diperoleh meliputi; Pemahaman dan kemampuan dosen muda dalam menerjemahkan tugas dan tanggungjawabnya menjadi ukuran dosen muda untuk memperoleh kesempatan madiri dalam pembelajaran atau masih harus memperoleh bimbingan dari dosen senior/pembina. Dalam bidang akademik dibuktikan dengan proses pembelajaran dan bimbingan yang dilakukan di kelas, penelitian dibuktikan dengan karya ilmiah yang dihasilan, dan pengabdian masyarakat dibuktikan dengan bentuk-bentuk pengembangan yang bermanfaat bagi kehidupan masyarakat, baik masyarakat umum maupun secara khusus masyarakat pendidikan.

Abstract

Investigation of methane adsorption capacity has been performed in Sambaliung Area, Berau, East Kalimantan (Latih Formation) and Sawahlunto Area, West Sumatra (Sawahlunto Formation). The study involves some analyses: methane sorption, petrography, and proximate. Adsorption isotherm analysis reveals storage capacity of Sambaliung and Sawahlunto coals about 113 to 269 scf/ton (daf) and from 486 to 561 scf/ton (daf), respectively. The adsorption capacity of the coals is thought to be related with formation pressure represented by depth as well as coal rank. The Sambaliung coal rank is low as indicated by the lower vitrinite reflectance (Rr about 0.38%) and higher total moisture (TM about 31%, ar). The Sawahlunto coal rank is higher as indicated by higher Rr (about 0.72%) and lower TM (about 6%, ar).

Abstract

Abstrak Pendidikan kejuruan merupakan salah satu lembaga untuk menyiapkan tenaga kerja di industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisisorientasi perilaku kepemimpinan dan pemanfaatan sarana dan prasarana terhadap kepuasan siswa di SMK Kabupaten Indramayu. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif dan analitik. Data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan angket. Data dianalisis denganstatistik deskriptif. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa gambaran umum mengenai orientasi perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berada pada kategori tinggi, pemanfaatan sarana dan prasarana berada pada kategori sangat tinggi, dan kepuasan siswa berada pada kategori puas. Orientasi perilaku kepemimpinan memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan dengan kategori sedang. Pemanfaatan sarana dan prasarana memberikan pengaruh signifikan dengan kategori sedang terhadap kepuasan siswa. Orientasi perilaku kepemimpinan dan pemanfaatan sarana dan prasarana memberikan pengaruh signifikan dengan kategori kuat terhadap kepuasan siswa. Abstract Vocational education is one of the institution to prepare the labors in industries. The aims of study are to describe and analyze behaviour oriented of leadership and the utilization of facilities toward students satisfaction. This study was done by descriptive analytic method. Data were collected by distributing questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics. The study foundthat general description of the orientation of leadership behavoiur that is implemented by principal is in high category, the utilization of facilities is in very high category, and students satisfaction is in satisfied category. The orientation of leadership behaviour gives a significant influence with enough category to students satisfaction. The utilization of facilities gives a significant influence with enough category to students satisfaction. The Orientation of leadership behaviour and the utilization of facilities give a significant influence with strong category to students satisfaction.

Leadership is the ability to drive, steer, even forcing people to move towards achieving the goal. Leadership much to appear in a variety of styles, the style is in the form of behavior that appear to form a task orientation, human relations, spiritual, social, democratic, authoritarian and others. Abstract

AbstrakKepemimpinan berkaitan dengan how to lead dari seorang pemimpin, perilaku yang dinampakan dalam konteks formal menjalankan tugas dan fungsinya sebagai pemimpin.  Untuk mempelajari perilaku dalam kepemimpinan banyak teori yang dapat dijadikan rujukan. Teori tentang perilaku kepemimpinan pada dasarnya mengacu kepada dua bentuk yaitu perilaku yang berorientasi kepada pekerjaan dan perilaku yang berorientasi kepada hubungan. Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mempelajari perilaku kepemimpinan dapat diperoleh dari bergagai bentuk perilaku yang diperankan orang.  Perilaku-perilaku yang baik dan menjadi panutan dapat dijadikan dasar untuk mereflekasi sebagai dasar dalam membentuk perilaku kepemimpinan yang baik. Belajar dari seorang ibu dengan kasih sayangnya, dari seorang sahabat dengan kesetiaannya, dari seorang kekasih dengan ketulusannya, dan belajar dari seorang pelayan dengan ketelatenannya.  Peranan-peranan orang dalam kehidupan itu dapat menjadi acuan dalam menerapkan kepemimpinan, tinggal bagaimana kita memaknai bahwa setiap perilaku itu dapat diperankan. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan, Perilaku, Orientasi Tugas, Orientasi Hubungan. Abstract Leadership is about how to lead from a leader, behavior in the context of formal duties and functions as the leader. To looking the behavior of the leadership are many theories that can be used as a reference. Theories about leadership behavior basically refers to two forms which is oriented to the job and realtionship oriented. In daily life we can find leadership behavior from more forms of behavior that people played. Good behavior and be role models can be used as a basis for shaping the leadership behavior. Learning from a mother with affection, with the loyalty of a friend, of a lover with his sincerity, and learn from a waiter. Abstract

AbstrakPenilaian kinerja merupakan masalah penting karena dapat dilihat seberapa baik kepala sekolah telah melaksanakan fungsinya. Atas semua, Ketepatan pokok dalam melaksanakan fungsinya akan mempengaruhi pencapaian kinerja organisasi. Selain itu, hasil dari penilaian kinerja akan memberikan informasi penting dalam proses pengembangan pokok itu sendiri. Namun, seringkali tidak sesuai ketika mereka lakukan. Hal ini dapat disebabkan oleh banyak faktor, seperti ketidakjelasan kinerja makna diimplementasikan, karyawan ketidakpahaman mengenai kinerja yang diharapkan, instrumen penilaian kinerja ketidakakuratan, dan kinerja manajemen ketidakpedulian organisasi oleh pemimpin. Berdasarkan fakta bahwa, penelitian ini difokuskan pada analisis efektivitas penilaian kinerja di SMP di kabupaten Bandung Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian kinerja donot seluruhnya dilihat untuk sekolah dan kepala sekolah developmentof profesional. Sebenarnya, instrumen yang digunakan cukup efektif dari sisi relevansi, sensitivitas, reliabilitas, akseptabilitas, kepraktisan. Tapi masih diperlukan objektivitas dari penilai. Dampak dari penilaian kinerja ini, bisa memperjelas tugas kepala sekolah dan dapat mendukung pengambilan making.But manajemen itu tidak dapat dirasakan secara signifikan oleh kepala sekolah belum. Kata kunci: Penilaian kinerja, efektivitas instrumen pelaku penilaian kinerja.  AbstractThe performance appraisal is an important issue because it is can be seen how well the school principal has been carrying out its functions. Over all, The precision of the principal in carrying out their functions will affect the achievement of organizational performance. Other than that, the result of the performance appraisal will provide important information in the process of developing the principal itself. However, it is often not appropriate when they do. This is can be caused by many factors, such as the obscurity of meaning performance is implemented, incomprehension employees regarding expected performance, inaccuracies performance assessment instruments, and passiveness  management performance of organization by the leader. Based on that fact, the research was focused on analyzing the effectiveness of the performance appraisal in the junior high school in West Bandung district. The results showed that the performance appraisal donot entirely be viewed for school and professional developmentof school principals. Actualy, the instruments used quite effectively from the side of relevance, sensitivity, reliability, acceptability, practicality. But still needed objectivity from assessors. The impact of this performance appraisal, could clarify the duties of school principals and can support management's decision-making.But it is can not be felt significantly by the principal yet. Keywords: Principal Performance appraisal, effectiveness instrumen principals of the performance appraisal.

Abstract

Kepala Sekolah sebagai Key Person dalam peningkatan mutu sekolah. Di sisi lain, keterlibatan masyarakat dalam sekolah telah memperoleh keran yang cukup besar melaiui wadah dewan sekolah.Fokus permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Orientasi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam menjalankan sekolah. (2) Kreativitas Dewan Sekolah dalam menjalankan fungsi dan peranannya. (3) Upaya peningkatan mutu dilakukan oleh Kepaia Sekolah dan partisipasi Dewan Sekolah. Penelitian ini mempergunakan metode penelitian analisis kualitatif deskriprif. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut : (1) Orientasi Kepemimpinan Kepala SDN Karang Pawulang I mengarah kepada kepemimpinan vang berorientasi pekerjaan, sedangkan untuk mendukung keberhasilannya, orientasi hubungan antar manusia tidak bisa terlepas. Orientasi kepemimpinan Kepala SDN Cikadut I lebih besar kepada pekerjaan. (2) Kreativitas Dewan Sekolah. Keterlibatan masyarakat dalam sekolah di SDN Karang Pawulang I menunjukan hasil yang positif. Pada SDN Cikadut I, kreativitas masih dalam tahap pencapaian berikutnya. (3) Upaya Peningkatan Mutu Sekolah di SDN Karang Pawulang l menunjukkan unsur-unsur yang terlibat didalamnya ditata dalam kebermutuan yang di standarisasi sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Di SDN Cikadut 1. arah kepada upaya untuk meningkatkan menjadi sekolah bermutu masih jauh dari pelaksanaannya. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian ini adalah: dalam rangka peningkatan mutu SDN Karang Pawulang I dan SDN Cikadut 1, diantaranva adalah upaya yang dilakukan oleh Kepala Sekolah dan Dewan Sekolah (Komite Sekolah) dalam fungsi dan perananya.

Abstract

School administration personnel as "supplements and complement" in the quality of education services,administrative activities and other support activities have a significant effect on the learning service activities.The purpose of this research is to gain information about the position, and the program development of SchoolAdministration Staff (education and training) at every level in UPI Laboratory School and those who areresponsible for the development of School Administration Staff. The research method used is qualitative with theresearch subject of all administrative staff of school at UPI laboratory school. The result in establishing the TASprofession in UPI related to the clarity of the status of manpower and comprehensively correlated with the statusof school administrative staff at every level of education in the laboratory school. The description of the careerladder of the school administrative staff in the laboratory school is not yet apparent. Built a school administrationprofession is not only an obligation of the administrative staff itself but rather the full support of the school andgovernment.
