Abstract

Study of The Implementation Process of Quality Management (Case Study Research In Company X). This research is carried out to study implementation process of quality management,which consists of three stages namely introduction, adoption, and adaptation. Research strategy in this research is case study research in Company X, which is a company that already has the ability to export and certified quality assurace system. Prime method of collecting data is structured interview with director, managers, supervisors, and employees Company X. The result indicate that in the introduction stage are shown by customer recognition of quality product, Company X began to export, and demand of foreign customer to quality assurance system. In the adoption stage are shown by company’s plan for certification of quality assurance system, certification of quality assurance system, and quality improvement. Meanwhile, in the adaptation stage are shown by recertification of quality assurance system, upgrading of quality assurance system,and production process evaluation. Those result give insight that Company X has carried out continuous quality improvement through quality management implementation with the aim to enhance customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) mempunyai peranan yang penting dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi dan industrisuatu negara. Hampir 90% dari total usaha yang ada di dunia merupakan kontribusi dari UKM. Disamping itu,UKM mempunyai kontribusi terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja. Studi empirik menunjukkan bahwa UKM padaskala internasional merupakan sumber penciptaan lapangan pekerjaan. Kontribusi UKM terhadap penyerapantenaga kerja, baik di negara maju maupun negara berkembang, termasuk Indonesia, mempunyai peranan yangsignifikan dalam penanggulangan masalah pengangguran. Dalam era ekonomi global saat ini, UKM dituntutuntuk melakukan perubahan guna meningkatkan daya saingnya. Salah satu faktor penting yang akanmenentukan daya saing UKM adalah teknologi informasi (TI). Penggunaan TI dapat meningkatkantransformasi bisnis melalui kecepatan, ketepatan dan efisiensi pertukaran informasi dalam jumlah yang besar.Studi kasus di Eropa juga menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 50% produktivitas dicapai melalui investasi di bidangTI. UKM dikatakan memiliki daya saing global apabila mampu menjalankan operasi bisnisnya secara reliable,seimbang, dan berstandar tinggi.Kata Kunci: UKM, Teknologi Informasi, Daya Saing

Abstract

AbstrakKondisi perekonomian Indonesia saat ini terdampak oleh situasi pandemi Covid-19 akibatnya banyak pelaku usaha pada UMKM yang mengalami keterpurukan. Sementara itu, pemerintah berupaya untuk memulihkan perekonomian Indonesia melalui fase new normal. Dengan demikian, pelaku usaha harus bisa beradaptasi dengan berbagai perubahan tersebut. Diantaranya dengan mengembangkan usahanya melalui pemasaran digital yang mendukung agar produk yang dihasilkan bisa di akses dari rumah. Penyuluhan dan pendampingan perlu dilakukan bagi masyarakat sebagai pelaku usaha yang berada di Kelurahan Margasari Kecamatan Buah Batu Kota Bandung dalam menjalankan bisnisnya di era new normal saat ini. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini diawali dengan survey lapangan oleh mahasiswa pada hari Rabu tanggal 10 Maret 2021 ke-6 UMKM. Pada tanggal 15 dan 16 Maret 2021 dilaksanakan penyuluhan Strategi Pemasaran Berbasis Digital untuk UMKM di Masa Pandemi Covid-19 dan pada tanggal 17 Maret 2021 dilaksanakan pendampingan langsung ke rumah warga yang menjalankan UMKM. Hasil dari kegiatan PkM 86,67% menurut UMKM terbantu dengan adanya kegiatan PkM melalui; 86,67% menurut UMKM mendapatkan pencerahan untuk mengembangkan usaha di masa Pandemi Covid-19; 80% menurut UMKM paham tentang pemasaran produk dengan bantuan teknologi digital. 73,33% menurut UMKM terbantu dengan pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam mengembangakan UMKM.  AbstractThe current condition of the Indonesian economy is affected by the Covid-19 pandemic situation as a result of which many business actors at MSMEs are experiencing a downturn. Meanwhile, the government is trying to restore Indonesia's economy through a new normal phase. Thus, business actors must be able to adapt to these various changes. Among them by developing their business through digital marketing that supports the products produced can be accessed from home. Counseling and assistance need to be done for the community as business actors who are in Margasari Village, Buah Batu District, Bandung City in carrying out their business in the current new normal era. This Community Service (PkM) activity begins with a field survey by students on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, the 6th UMKM. On March 15 and 16, 2021, there was counseling on Digital-Based Marketing Strategies for MSMEs during the Covid-19 Pandemic and on March 17, 2021, direct assistance was carried out to the homes of residents who run MSMEs. The results of PkM activities are 86.67% according to MSMEs being helped by PkM activities through; 86.67% according to MSMEs got enlightenment to develop businesses during the Covid-19 Pandemic; 80% according to MSMEs understand product marketing with the help of digital technology. 73.33% according to MSMEs it was helped by the use of digital technology in developing MSMEs.

Abstract

The paradigm underlying this research is that SME has contribution to economic growth, that is indicated by their contribution to employment and Gross Domestic Product. SMEs contribute to employment more than 99,7 per cent of national employment and contribute to more IDR 1,013.5 trillion or 56,73 per cent. Nevertheless, the developing of SME's facing some problems namely lack of capital, difficulties in marketing, simple organizational structure with unstandard job description, low of quality management, limited human resource, generally it has no finanacial accounting, low of legality aspect, and low of technology quality. According to this matter, a comprehensive strategy for developing SME's is very crusial to develop in order to fasten SME's growth, to eliminate SME's problems, and to make SME's competitive. The strategy composed based on integration of location quotient, diamond cluster model, and SWOT analysis approach. The result indicated that SME's which have big potential to develop are manufacturing industry sector, because it has the biggest value of LQ is about 4,277. Then, strategy for developing SME's is ST strategy, namely using some strength to overcome some threats. According to this strategy, SME's should carry out product diversification by using CNC, CAD, and CAM technology, improve quality of product, and cooperate with suppliers to get supply raw material.

Abstract

The ever increasing urban energy consumption has always been an important issue of urban energy security. Citizen plays critical role in shaping the energy consumption. Therefore, citizen perspective can give significant impact to urban energy security evaluation. This research aims to provide a systematic framework to measure urban energy security taking into account the perspective of citizen and showcase its implementation in a case of Bandung city. The proposed framework is a straight five stages process as follow; (1) establishing the urban context, (2) defining energy security relevant to the context, (3), determining dimensions of energy security , (4) determining indicators and and metrics, and (5) the final stage is calculating energy security. The implementation case shows Bandung’s energy security is at Middle Low status. It also verify that the framework is operationally viable and it can capture the significance of citizen perspective.

Abstract

The prime objective of the currents study, is to investigate the link between supply chain integration (SCI) and Internal Supply chain performance (ISCP). Apart of investigation the impact on internal performance of integrated supply chain, the current study is also interested in investigating the mediating role of Supply Chain flexibility (SCF) in the relationship between SCI and supply chain internal performance ISCP. The structural equation modeling which a twostep process i.e. inner model assessment and outer model assessment is and is an upgraded version of multiple regression is used to answer the research questions. The current study has used the AMOS to analyze the data collected from production managers of Indonesian manufacturing firms. The findings of the study have revealed the fact that SCI has significant impact on the internal supply chain performance (ISCP). The SCF has significantly mediated the relationship between SCI and ISCP. The study will be helpful for policy makers in researcher in understanding the issues related to supply chain, its integration, flexibility, and internal performance.

Abstract

UMKM tidak bisa dipungkiri telah menjadi tulang punggung perkembangan perekonomian di Indonesia dan yang menyelamatkan negara dari keterpurukan. Namun, pandemic COVID-19 saat ini telah meninggalkan banyak UMKM  tidak berdaya. Salah satu masalah yang umum terjadi pada UMKM adalah adanya penurunan penjualan karena masih ada produk yang belum sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan, hal ini mengakibatkan produk UMKM tidak dapat bersaing dengan produk sejenisnya. Begitu pula dengan keberadaan Teknologi Informasi, dimana di dalam pelaksanaannya masih belum optimal. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi secara empiris melalui Standarisasi Produk terhadap Daya Saing UMKM di Kecamatan Astana Anyar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif (metode survey). Analisis pengolahan data  yang digunakan Regresi Linier Berganda, Koefisien Kolerasi, Koefisien Determinasi, dan Uji-T. Populasi yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah pemilik atau pengelola UMKM di Kecamatan Astana Anyar sebanyak 75 UMKM, sedangkan sampel yang diambil sebanyak 50 UMKM dan teknik sampling yg digunakan adalah teknik Non Probability Sampling. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa bahwa pengaruh Teknologi Informasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Daya Saing UMKM sebesar 44 % dan Standarisasi Produk berpengaruh terhadap hubungan antara Teknologi Informasi dan Daya Saing pada UMKM di Astana Anyar sebesar 42,3%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semua faktor tersebut merupakan faktor faktor yang menentukan tinggi rendahnya daya saing UMKM.
