Abstract

Abstract: A student's ability to develop essential competencies and attitudes will not be fostered by the use of the traditional educational techniques now used. As a result, teaching methods that engage students in the learning process and encourage them to address real-world issues should be employed in the teaching of Social Science Learning. Teaching social science may benefit from the use of social science authentic learning in this setting. Because students actively participate in the educational process, they encounter real-world challenges and may develop higher-order thinking abilities while addressing difficulties in social science authentic learning, this has been shown to be true. In addition, students are delighted with their education in this manner. We are thus interested in hearing from both students and teachers about their experiences with social science authentic learning in Social Science. The study's sample was created via the use of criteria sampling, which was based on a qualitative research methodology. There are 35 4th grade children, 20 girls and 15 boys, from a private school in Surabaya, Indonesia who participate in the research, as well as the teacher of the class. Focus groups and an open-ended questionnaire were used to gather the data for this study. Using the content analysis method, the data were examined. Authentic social science learning was seen favorably by both students and instructors, according to the findings. Social science authentic learning, according to students, also helped them develop a variety of other characteristics and talents.

Abstract

This study discussed the rethinking of the Merdeka learning curriculum, from the design of the implementation document to the achievement of results. The authors believe that there are quite several writings that discuss the contents of the Merdeka learning curriculum from different perspectives and perspectives. However, very few have tried to review how the implementation documents are and what the expected results are. This study used secondary data from publications, books, scientific journals, curricula, and other sources. After involving a series of studies which include coding the data, evaluating the data, analyzing the data sharply, and interpreting and drawing conclusions to get valid friendly data. We designed this study in qualitative terms, so after discussion and if there is in-depth data, we can finally say that a review of the curriculum documents they learned both in terms of implementation and the results to be achieved need to be thought out and revised in various places so that in the future it becomes a curriculum that can be implemented.

Abstract

Dewasa ini, kita diperhadapkan dengan era revolusi industri keempat yang disebut dengan revolusi industri 4.0, atau dengan istilah lain era inovasi disruptif, dimana inovasi ini berkembang dengan sangat cepat, yang berimplikasi pada terciptanya pasar baru. Dunia pendidikan saat ini dalam menghadapi tantangan tersebut harus mampu beradaptasi, agar proses pendidikan sesuai dengan kondisi dan tuntutan zaman. Penelitian ini akan mengelaborasi lebih dalam terkait paradigma baru pendidikan karakter di era inovasi disruptif dan implementasi praktisnya pada era masyarakat 5.0 melalui analisis konten dengan pendekatan filosofis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa, paradigma baru sistem pendidikan 4.0 bergaung kencang dalam beberapa tahun terakhir ini. Oleh sebab itu, pemerintah harus menyediakan fasilitas yang memadai dalam menyongsong era Pendidikan 4.0, mengingat pendidikan adalah sebagai garda terdepan dalam membentengi karakter peserta didik dari pengaruh negatif era inovasi disrupsi ini.Guru juga harus meng-upgrade kompetensi dalam menghadapi era Pendidikan 4.0 dan masyarakat 5.0, karena subjek pendidikan karakter yaitu peserta didik yang dihadapi guru saat ini, merupakan generasi era cybernetics yang tidak asing lagi dengan dunia digital. Maka pendidikan merupakan asas terpenting dalam menjaga dan membangun karakter peserta didik diera inovasi dirsuptif dan dalam menghadapi tantangan masa depan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of researchers' observations that students in understanding Social Sciences (IPS) learning materials are less able to support achieving maximum learning outcomes. So an exciting treatment is needed using the Brainstorming method and audio-visual media to give a significant impact effectively. The research objective was to determine the effectiveness of the treatment of student learning outcomes in Social Science learning through the Brainstorming method supported by Audio Visual media for fourth-grade students at SDN Grogol 1, Kediri Regency. The research method used is quantitative, with the True-Experimental-Design research technique using two classes, namely the control and experimental classes. The research sample was fourth-grade students at SDN Grogol 1, Kediri Regency, for the 2021/2022 academic year, totaling 40 students. Data collection techniques in research are tests. The analysis technique used with the t-test (Independent Sample t-test) is used to test the effectiveness of using the Brainstorming method, which is supported by Audio Visual media in learning Social Sciences (IPS). The results showed that the probability (Sig. 2-tailed) = 0.002 <0.05 (significance level) and a t-count of 3.206 was more significant than a t-table of 2.009. The conclusions in the study provide evidence that the effectiveness of the Brainstorming method supported by Audio Visual media can improve learning outcomes in Social Sciences (IPS) in class IV Elementary School students. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi melalui hasil pengamatan peneliti bahwa siswa dalam memahami materi pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) kurang mampu mendukung tercapainya hasil belajar yang maksimal, sehingga dibutuhkan perlakuan yang menarik dengan menggunakan metode Brainstorming dan media audio visual sebagai bentuk efektivitas dalam memberikan dampak secara signifikan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas perlakuan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial melalui metode Brainstorming yang didukung media Audio Visual siswa kelas IV SDN Grogol 1 Kabupaten Kediri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik penelitian True-Experimental-Design dengan menggunakan dua kelas yaitu kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Grogol 1 Kabupaten Kediri tahun ajaran 2021/2022 yang berjumlah 40 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian adalah tes. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dengan uji-t (Independent Sample t-test) digunakan untuk menguji tingkat efektivitas penggunaan metode Brainstorming yang di dukung media Audio Visual dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan besarnya probabilitas (Sig. 2-tailed) = 0,002 < 0,05 (taraf signifikasi) dan diperoleh t-hitung sebesar 3,206 lebih besar dibandingkan t-tabel sebesar 2,009. Simpulan dalam penelitian memberikan bukti bahwa efektivitas metode Brainstorming yang didukung media Audio Visual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

The research formulated based on several obstacles including: 1) discrepancy between knowledge and skills, 2) transmissive learning, 3) the realization of the interpretation of globalization through improving education quality. This research had the purpose of knowing the effect of using STEM-based Hydrological Cycle Diorama Media for class V SDIT Ar-Ruhul Jadid. This research used the Quantitative Experiment method. The experimental research used focuses on the Quasi Experimental Design method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design experimental model. In implementation, the class has been divided into two groups, namely the control class and the experimental class through purposive sampling technique with the requirements of the value and consideration of teacher. The results of the study stated that there was a difference between the control class and the experimental class based on mastery persentage of the control class 69% and the experimental class 81%, so it can be concluded that the Hydrological Cycle Diorama media has an effect on students' comprehension.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of physical education on character development in elementary school students. Recognizing the significance of physical education in shaping student character from a young age, this research seeks to explore how the development of positive character traits can aid students in navigating future challenges and life situations. The methodology employed in this study involves a comprehensive literature review, drawing data from reputable sources such as scientific journals, books, and relevant articles. Content analysis techniques are utilized to analyze the data and identify key factors contributing to the influence of physical education on students' character development. The findings demonstrate that physical education plays a crucial role in fostering desirable character traits, including discipline, hard work, self-confidence, cooperation, and more. Furthermore, physical education also contributes to improving students' physical and mental well-being. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that physical education significantly influences the character building of elementary school students. Consequently, the integration of physical education into the school curriculum becomes imperative to ensure the holistic development of students, promoting good character and overall health.
