Abstract

Percobaan pot tentang respon tiga varietas bawang merah terhadap dua macam pupuk kandang danempat dosis pupuk anorganik telah dilakukan di Screen house (rumah kasa) pada Kebun Percobaan Batang,Batang. Rancangan Percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL). Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa varietas Bima Juna (V1) menunjukkan tinggi tanaman, dan volume umbitertinggi. Varietas Tiron (V3) menunjukkan jumlah anakan per rumpun, jumlah daun per rumpun, danjumlah umbi per rumpun tertinggi. Macam pupuk kandang berpengaruh pada bobot basah umbi per rumpun,bobot kering umbi per rumpun dan volume umbi. Pupuk kandang yang berasal dari kotoran ayam (M2)memberikan hasil yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan yang berasal dari kotoran sapi (M1). Dosis pupukanorganik berpengaruh pada bobot kering umbi per rumpun. Bobot kering umbi per rumpun tertinggidicapai pada dosis pupuk anorganik 200 kg/ha (P3) dan pupuk kandang 20 t/ha. Tidak terdapat interaksiantara varietas, macam pupuk kandang dan dosis pupuk anorganik pada semua variabel yang diamati.Varietas Bima Juna (V1), pupuk kandang yang berasal dari kotoran ayam (M2) dan dosis pupuk anorganik400 kg/ha (P1) mempunyai nilai serapan N dan P jaringan tanaman bawang merah tertinggi.Kata kunci: bawang merah, pupuk kandang, pupuk anorganik, varietas ABSTRACTThe experiment about the response of three varieties of shallot to two kinds of manure and four dosageinorganic fertilizers was conducted in screen house at Batang Experimental Station, Batang. RandomizedComplete Block Design was employed to arrange environmental site. The result showed that Bima Junavariety (V1) has the highest plant height and volume of bulb. Tiron variety (V3) has the highest amount oftiller per plant, amount of leaves per plant and the amount of bulb per plant. The kind of the manuresignificantly affected fresh weight of bulb per plant, dry weight of bulb per plant and volume of bulb. Theplants fertilized with chicken manure (M2) produced higher yield than that of cow manure (M1). Dosage ofinorganic fertilizer significantly affected the dry weight of bulb per plant. The highest was obtained in dryweight of bulb per plant 200 kg/ha inorganic fertilizer (P3) and 20 t/ha manure combination. There was nointeraction between varieties, the kind of manure and inorganic fertilizer dosage for all of the variables. BimaJuna (V1) variety, plant fertilized with chicken manure (M2) and plant fertilized with inorganic fertilizeddosage 400 kg/ha (P1) has the highest absorption N and P.Key words: shallot, manure, inorganic fertilizer, varieties
