Abstract

Abstract : This study was aimed to describe entertainer, audience, and content (social function) of Madihin Performance in Indragiri Hilir District. This was a descriptive qualitative study. The data collection technique was through an interview and record the Madihin Performance in Indragiri Hilir District. Then, the data which have been collected analyzed using Milles and Huberman theory, known as flow technique, which consists of several stages namely: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. For the entertainer of Madihin, it can be concluded that 1). mostly, the entertainer is old age. This is due to the difficulty of the regeneration process; 2). the entertainer has their basic job. This means that being an entertainer only as an additional job; 3). the entertainer has no position in government, and they are usually uneducated people; 4). there is no standard salary for them. For the audience, it can be classified by their job, tribe, age, and character. Then, for social content, 54 data have found, 23 data serve for entertaining people. It can be classified into 4, namely: 1). offensive to the audience or opponents; 2). entertaining by giving a puzzles; 3). entertaining by asking questions and being answered with the word equation; 4) entertaining with vulgar things; and 31 data serve to entertain by giving something that can be classified into 4, namely: 1) educational function; 2) religion function; 3) social protest function; and 4) advice function.Key words: performance , Madihin, Literature Sosiology

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research id to described the structre magic medicine category in Teluk Pinang village Indragiri Hilir regency. Magic is kind of the oral literature that formed of poetry. Considering that magic is a poetry and a poetry has structures. So, this thesis analyzed the structure and magic medicine category. The existence of magic medicine is influenced of people reliance in Teluk Pinang village it self. The aim of this research is to described the opening and closing structure of magic and the magic category. The medicine is like handover,prerequment or sign and sacred. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative which use mimetic approach as a historic sosiological approach. The technique of data collecting is using observation, interview and documentation/recording. The data analysis is used the data reduction technique,data disiplay,condision drawing/verification. Based on the result of analysis,it can be concluded that the structures of magic medicine have form of opening part, content and closing the category of magic medicine grouped by handover, prerequirement,or sign and sacred.Keywords: The Structure,Category,Magic Medicine.

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the inner conflict of the main character in the novel Cinta Dalam Diam the paper Shineeminka. This research aims to determine the nature of inner conflict. Research is beneficial in theory, educational and practical. This research is qualitative research types and use of descriptive method. The techniques used in the collection of data on the examination of the technical documentation. Data collected and then analyzed at different stages, namely activities Read repeatedly and minutely in the data, identify identification data and data, and deduce the results of the investigation. Research data comes from the novel Cinta Dalam Diam the paper Shineeminka. From the research that was done, researchers then found 72 inner conflicts of the data of the protagonist. After the data in the analysis there are namely a number of subdivisions of the data, inner conflict 22 id data, the inner conflict of the ego 26 data, and inner conflict superego 24. Most data is thus the data konlik the inner ego. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the inner conflict of the main character in the novel Cinta Dalam Diam work of the Shineeminka that dominates the inner conflicts of the ego categoris.Keywords: literature work, literature psychology, internal conflict.

Abstract

Abstract: This research entitled Event Martumpol Adat Batak Toba (Semiotics Review). This study aims to clearly understand the sign presented in the event of customary Batak Toba martumpol. This type of research is qualitative with semiotic approach. The result of this research is a descriptive narrative. The data is accompanied by interpretation that interprets all aspects of the culture. In accordance with these characters, this research tries to get information that is complete about one of indigenous ethnic Batak Toba tribe. The validity of data is inscribed by interview technique based on one stage of marriage of Batak Toba people. Then the data were analyzed by identifying and classifying the data on the Toba Batak custom martumpol event. The results of the research, found the mark in the event of custom martumpol Batak Toba amounted to 13 data, the data division is (1) index amounted to 5 data, (2) symbols amounted to 7 data and (3) icons amounted to 1 data.Keywords: Semiotics, Martumpol Ceremony, Batak Toba

Abstract

The Nation’s Literacy Movement [Gerakan Literasi Bangsa (GLB)] which is the implementation of Permendikbud No. 23 Year 2013 started to show responses from teachers and students. It was proved by literacy activities in schools the rise of writers from teachers. One of the teachers implemented literacy movement is Yulismar, a teacher of SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. She used social media (facebook) as the means of literacy activities. This study investigated the reader response using literature reception approach. This study used mixed methods research. The data collection technique was by inventorying all readers from each short story. The findings showed that the most responses were on a short story entitled Surat Rindu untuk Ibu with total 177 readers. Whereas the loyal readers who followed short stories by Yulismar were 71 readers who consisted of 62 female and 9 male. This means that Yulismar, through her work of short stories was successful to build loyal readers. The loyal readers were not only criticized the aspect of the simplicity of the language but also criticized the logical content of the story and touched their consciences.

Abstract

This research is based on the recommendation of literacy in schools by ministries as well as the advancement of digital technology that is able to provide new innovations for learning in particular in this case learning to read poetry. This research method uses Research and Development method with observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation data collection techniques and quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study in the form of learning products to read poetry begins with reading each verse verses up to the whole verse verse. The recitation of the poem is sung using the tone of selendang delima, dodoi, dan surat kapal. This media will guide students and teachers in learning to read poetry well and correctly and equipped with practice. Through this media, it is hoped that it can help to make it easier to convey learning messages in reading poetry. In addition, the virtue of poetry is able to correctly remember, so that the representation of values contained in the poem remains intact. The author hopes that this learning media will make students practice, think actively and critically in understanding poetry reading.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi besarnya nilai tambah gula kelapa dalam menghasilkan produk kecap pada agroindustri kecap cap “SRK”, menganalisis faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi pemasaran kecap cap “SRK” dan mencari alternatif strategi yang tepat sesuai dengan kondisi lingkungan usahanya dan menentukan prioritas strategi yang dapat diterapkan dalam memasarkan kecap cap “SRK”. Penelitian ini dilakukan di agroindustri kecap cap “SRK” Kabupaten Pacitan. Perhitungan nilai tambah menggunakan metode Hayami sedangkan untuk merumuskan strategi pengembangan menggunakan beberapa alat analisis seperti analisis matrik IFE, analisis matrik EFE, analisis SWOT, dan analisis QSPM. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai tambah gula kelapa dalam menghasilkan produk kecap sebesar Rp 2788,5 per kg gula dengan rasio nilai tambah sebesar 14,03%. Keuntungan yang diperoleh kecap adalah Rp 2188,5 dengan tingkat keuntungan 78,48%. Berdasarkan nilai tambah dan keuntungan yang diperoleh maka agroindustri kecap layak untuk dikembangkan dan memberikan keuntungan bagi agroindustri tersebut. Hasil analisis matrik IFE, EFE, dan IE posisi agroindustri menempati posisi sel V, yang mana daerah pada kuadran V tersebut adalah daerah pertumbuhan stabilitas dengan strategi konsentrasi melalui integrasi horizontal atau stabilitas. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil matrik grand strategy agroindustri kecap berada pada kuadran I dimana posisi pertumbuhan pasar yang tinggi serta memiliki kompetitif yang kuat. Prioritas strategi yang diutamakan berdasarkan hasil perhitungan QSPM adalah memperbaiki kualitas kemasan sebagai sarana promosi agar menarik dan berbeda dengan produk pesaing

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi dan menganalisis efisiensi teknis dan efisiensi skala usahatani tebu di lahan sawah dan lahan kering. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Kediri dan Jember sebagai sentra produksi tebu di Provinsi Jawa Timur dengan menggunakan survey pada 201 petani tebu untuk musim tanam 2015/2016. Pengukuran efisiensi teknis menggunakan metode Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA).  Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata tingkat efisiensi teknis usahatani tebu di lahan sawah 0.8311 sedangkan untuk lahan kering mencapai 0.7991. Nilai efisiensi teknis ini menunjukkan baik di lahan sawah maupun di lahan kering masih memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi masing-masing sebesar 17% dan 20%. Dekomposisi nilai total efisiensi teknis (TE CRS) menjadi efisiensi teknis murni (TE VRS) dan efisiensi skala menghasilkan bahwa usahatani tebu di lokasi penelitan memiliki inefisiensi skala lebih besar dibandingkan inefisiensi teknis murni. 99% petani tebu lahan sawah beroperasi pada skala IRS sedangkan petani tebu lahan kering 88% yang beroperasi pada skala IRS. Petani yang beroperasi pada skala optimal (CRS), untuk lahan sawah lebih kecil (8% dari total responden) dibandingkan lahan kering (10% dari total responden). Upaya peningkatan efisiensi teknis usahatani tebu perlu diarahkan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi skalanya

The Data of this research is words and sentences of “Pesan Dari Sambu”’s Novel By Tasmi,P.S. The Results of this research is character personality based on id, ego, super ego aspect. Id’s personality describes the attitude of primitive instinct and prioritizes comfort and avoids pain. Ego’s personality describes highlights the nature that people around them want to acknowledge.
