Abstract

In this study built an instrument capable of mixing and controlling chemical pH of citrate solution and phosphate solution as buffer solution. The problem often experienced in mixing chemicals is a matter of safety and the accuracy of the concentration of the mixing of the substance. The function of this instrument is to mix and control the pH of the citrate and phosphate solution. It is hoped that in the presence of this instrument, the manufacture of citrate solutions and phosphate solutions can be carried out electronically which does not involve manual calculations to obtain the desired pH of the solution, and is relatively safe from direct contact with chemicals. This instrument is built using a pH sensor as the sensing pH value of the solution to be made. And as a controller used microcontroller. Results of pH control other than can be stored in the database, can also be transmitted to the internet (website) using a wifi interface device. Mixers and pH controls of citrate and phosphate have been realized and resulted in good pH control.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Proses menua merupakan proses alami yang diikuti dengan terjadinya peurunan kondisi fisik, psikologis dan sosial yang saling berkaitan satu sama lain .Kondisi penurunan tersebut mempengaruhi kemampuan lanjut usia dalam melakukan aktifitas sehari – hari/ Activity daily livings yang memerlukan perhatian dan bantuan keluarga sehingga mengakibatkan permintaan untuk perawatan di rumah meningkat dengan cepat. Perawatan Home care menjadi arena perawtaan professional dan informal. Review ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelayanan home care pada lanjut usia.Metode : Dalam mengumpulkan artikel menggunakan beberapa database Pubmed, Science Direct, Wiley, dan Google Scholar dengan strategi pencarian menggunakan metode PICO (population, intervention, comparison and outcome dengan batasan publikasi artikel dari tahun 2009-2019.Hasil : Hasil temuan diperoleh beberapa point yaitu perlunya perawat melakukan Analisis kehidupan lansia sebelum memberikan pelayanan home care, pelayanan tepat waktu, Ukuran pengalaman aspek interpersonal perawatan karena itu dapat menjadi indikator yang berguna dari hasil kualitas hidup, pentingnya partisipasi lanjut usia, berbagi sejarah dengan perawat dan lansia, terjaminnya privasi lansia, pemenuhan standar kebutuhan lansia, selanjutnya ada factor komunikasi, pembangunan hubungan perawat dan lanjut usia, kepercayaan, keamanan, perawat harus pandai dalam menilai kekahawatiran rasa depresi yang disembunyikan oleh lansia, dan siap dalam menerima perbadaan pandangan dalam hal perawatan home care dengan lansia. Kata kunci :  Home care, Lanjut Usia Abstract Background: The aging process is a natural process that is followed by a decline in physical, psychological and social conditions that are interrelated with each other. The condition of the decline affects the ability of the elderly in carrying out daily activities / Activity daily livings that require attention and assistance from family so resulting in a rapidly increasing demand for home care. Care Home care is an arena for professional and informal care. This review aims to determine the experience of nurses in providing home care services for the elderly.Method: Data was obtained from google scholar website database, Since direct and Proquest, and obtained 5 articles. The five articles were then carried out by the journal research critics using the appropriate CASP tools namely 5 articles with the Critical Appraisal of Qualitative Study.Results: The findings obtained by several points, namely Analysis of the lives of the elderly before giving home care services, timely services, measures of experience of interpersonal aspects of care because it can be a useful indicator of quality of life outcomes, the importance of elderly participation, sharing history with nurses and the elderly, ensuring privacy, fulfilling the standards of elderly needs, then there are factors of communication, building relationships between nurses and the elderly, trustworthiness, security, nurses must be clever in assessing the concerns of depression that are hidden by the elderly, and ready to accept improvements in terms of nursing home care with the elderly . Keywords: Experience, Nurse, Home care, Elderly

Abstract

AbstrakLatar Belakang : Pelayanan asuhan keperawatan yang berkualitas dan profesional merupakan target yang ingin dicapai untuk meningkatkan mutu pada Rumah Sakit. Namun mutu yang diharapkan bertolak belakang bahwa penyedia layanan kesehatan khususnya perawat  bekerja di bawah tekanan dengan beban kerja yang lebih besar. Ini berdampak pada ketidakseimbangan antara kerja dan reward yang diterima. Ini bertujuna untuk mengetahui dampak pemberian reward kepada perawat terhadap pelayanan di Rumah SakitMetode : Data didapatkan dari database PubMed, Wiley Online, Google Schoolar, Secondary Searching diperoleh 7 artikel yang terdiri dari 6 penelitian cross-sectional dan 1 penelitian Quasi-Experiment yang membahas mengenai pemberian reward pada perawat di rumah sakit. Pemilihan artikel dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi kemudian proses pencarian artikel disintesis ke dalam PRISMA flow diagram. Telah  dilakukan  kritisi  jurnal menggunakan Critical Appraisal of a Cross-Sectional Study (Survey) dan Case Control Study.Hasil : Hasil temuan diperoleh 6 dampak pemberian reward perawat di rumah sakit sakit yaitu berdampak pada stress kerja, ketidakhadiran karena sakit, turnover, motivasi, kepuasan kerja, dan komitmen organisasi. Namun reward tidak berdampak pada performa kerja, mood, fungsi saraf autonomic dan interaksi personal. Review ini membahas tentang dampak pemberian reward perawat terhadap pelayanan di rumah  sakit namun tidak dijelaskan secara rinci pengkalsifikasian jenis reward yang dimaksud apakah reward intrinsic atau reward ekstrinsik..Kesimpulan: pemberian reward lebih berdampak pada kepuasan kerja (30%) dan komitmen organisasi (30%) AbstractBackground: Quality and professional nursing care services are targets to be achieved to improve the quality of hospitals. But the expected quality contradicts that health care providers, especially nurses, work under pressure with a greater workload. This has an impact on the imbalance between work and reward received. This aims to find out the impact of giving rewards to nurses on hospital servicesMethods: Data obtained from PubMed, Wiley Online, Google Schoolar, Secondary Searching databases obtained 7 articles consisting of 6 cross-sectional studies and 1 Quasi-Experiment study which discussed giving rewards to nurses in hospitals. Article selection with inclusion and exclusion criteria then the article search process is synthesized into the PRISMA flow diagram. Journal critics have used the Critical Appraisal of a Cross-Sectional Study (Survey) and Case Control Study.Results: The findings obtained 6 effects of rewarding nurses in a hospital that has an impact on work stress, absence due to illness, turnover, motivation, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. But rewards do not have an impact on work performance, mood, autonomic nerve function and personal interaction. This review discusses the impact of rewarding nurses on services in the hospital but not explained in detail the calcification of the type of reward in question whether intrinsic reward or extrinsic reward ..Conclusion: giving rewards has more impact on job satisfaction (30%) and organizational commitment (30%)Keywords: reward, nurse, and hospital.

Abstract

The purpose of this literature review is to discuss PEEP (Positive End Ekspiratory Pressure) and CVP (Central Venous Pressure) in patients who have ventilators. Adequate interpretation is needed by nurses who make direct observations about the patient's actual volume status without the influence of expiratory end pressure due to the administration of PEEP to patients who are attached to a ventilator. Study of this literature through a search of scientific publications using the database Pubmed, Google Scholar, Science Direct. Pubmed. Criteria for inclusion of this research article on PEEP and CVP in patients who are ventilators with publications between 2010-2017. This study shows that the effect of changing CVP values greatly influences hemodynamics and fluid status in the patient's body and determines the next interventions that will be given to patients so that changes in CVP values with PEEP in patients who are fitted with mechanical ventilators are needed in order to determine a meaningful CVP value. Based on this description, it is recommended that research studies related to changes in the conversion of CVP values with PEEP.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop English language teaching materials based on Minangkabau tradition in class X of SMAN 1 Sungai Puar. This research design is R & D research, with ADDIE procedure. This research is the X grade students of SMAN 1 Sungai Puar in the 2018/2019 year. The researcher took sample of class X MIPA 1 as an experimental class. There are several instruments in this research, namely interviews, validation sheets, and tests. After that, the initial test and the final test is carried out in class X MIPA 1 as a sample. It was found that English teaching materials based on Minangkabau local wisdom was current teaching materials that never given before in this school. This teaching materials was practical, effective, and improve students' mastery of English.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the quality changes of instan brownrice porridge fortified with catfish protein concentrate during storage. Instant brownrice proridge was prepared from glutinous red rice flours (33%), skim milk (50%);corn oil (2%); sugar (5%) and forfified with 10% catfish protein concentrate. Theproduct was stored at room temperature for 45 days. Sensory analyses, peroxide,totalbacterial count, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and mold were made every0, 15, 30 and 45 days. The result indicated that the quality of porridge decresed duringstorage. The sensory value, peroxide, total bacterial count, Escherichia coli, Staphylo-coccus aureus and mold of the porridge at initial to the end of storage was 3, 59 - 3,30; 0 - 9,6 meq/1000g; 2, 0 x 103 - 1, 0 x 104 Cfu/g; 0, 2 x 102 - 1,0 x 102; 0, 15 x 102 –1,0 x 102 koloni/g. The was no mold growth identified during storage.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the consumer acceptance of catfish kama-boko with the addition of seaweed. A total of 10 kg catfish was obtained from one ofmarket in Pekanbaru city was processed into kamaboko. Four types of kamaboko weremade from catfish meat, corn starch, salt, onion, garlic, pepper and each of treatmentwas fortified with seaweed 0%, 5%, 10% and 15%. Parameters was observed on con-sumers acceptance and proximat analysis. The result showed that the catfish kamabokofortified with seaweed 15% was the best treatment and preferred by consumers with3.71% of organoleptik value, 70.41% of water content, 27.52% of protein, 2.79% ofash content, 2.99% of fat and 2.92% of crude fiber.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine psychological trauma and depression in survivors of recurring disasters (the 2004 and 2012 earthquakes in Aceh). A quantitative approach was used as the research design, 2 villages located in Banda Aceh were taken as the samples involving 60 respondents from the two villages. The respondents' criteria were: 1) experiencing two earthquakes in 2004 and 2012, 2) aged over 30 years. Data collection used a modification of the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale questionnaire, depression scale, and demographic data. The results showed that there was no correlation between psychological trauma and depression in survivors of the recurring earthquake in Aceh. Besides, based on the results of data analysis, there was a correlation between symptoms (p≤0,000), occupation (p≤0,030), and age (p≤0,015) with psychological trauma; and there was no correlation between potential disasters (p≤0,075), family support (p≤0,002), education (p≤0,181) coping ability (p≤0,401), the value of faith (p≤0,266), and income (p≤0,830) with psychological trauma.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This studyaims to compare the quality of catfish (Pangasius hypophthalmus) tofu nuggets vacuum and nonvacuumpackaged during cold storage (50C).  The treatments given consisted of (A1) vacuum packaging and (A2) nonvacuum packaging.  The quality parameters tested were organoleptic (appearance, aroma, taste and texture), Total Plate Count (TPC), and Total Volatile Base (TVB), with interval periods of 0, 4, 8, 12, and 16 days of storage.  The catfish tofu nuggets with vacuum packed are good quality with appearance characterisrics (dry bread crumbs, less bright, product specifications), taste (less strong, product specifications), aroma (less strong, product specifications), texture (rather solid and compact);  TVB 20.43 mgN / 100g;  TPC 4,7x104 colonies/g, with 12 days of cold storage.Keywords: Nugget,catfish, vacuum packaging, storage time

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the effect of adding lime (Citrus aurantifolia) juice on the quality of nila fish (Oreochromis niloticus) during storage at room temperature. The research method was used an experimental method, which is to lubricate fresh nila fish with various concentrations of lime juice and stored at room temperature. This research was carried out in stages by conducting preliminary research to determine the best lime concentration and continued to the main research. The research data were analyzed using a non factorial randomized block design (RBD). The parameters tested were organoleptic (appearance, texture, aroma, and taste), Total Plate Count (TPC), water activity (aw), and pH level. Research shows that the use of lime juice has a significant effect on the quality of nla fish stored at room temperature with a concentration of 50% lime juice as the best treatment with characteristics: elastic texture, slightly dense, compact, fresh sour, delicious, and specific fish taste that reshly added with lime acid, the TPC value was 38.10x102 colony / gram, the average pH value was 4.13, and the average aw value was 0.81 for storage for 0 hours to 12 hours.Keywords: lime, nila fish, quality, natural preservative.
