Abstract

Breast milk is the best baby food that is rich in antibodies, useful for endurance and antibiotics in high numbers so that exclusive breastfeeding can reduce the risk of death. The percentage of 0-5 months babies in Indonesia who get exclusive breastfeeding is only 54.0%, while infants up to 6 months of age are only 29.5%. The preliminary survey data in Sungai Putih Village found that 4 out of 74 mothers did not give breast milk on the grounds that they bothered 1 person and the milk was not smooth 3 people. The aim of the study was to determine the relationship of the banana blossom to the production of breast milk. This type of research is quantitative analysis with a pre-experimental method with a one group pretest posttest approach. The population is nursing mothers with a baby age range> 2 weeks - 6 months, amounting to 74 people with 30 mininal samples using a simple random sampling technique. The results showed that the average milk production before the banana blossm consumption was 96.67 and after consuming the banana blosssom it increased to 108.00. The statistical test results are stated p value 0,000 (<α = 0.05), it can be concluded that Ha is accepted which means that there is a relationship of the banana blossom to the production of breast milk. Bananas Blossom can be used as a diet for breastfeeding mothers, which is beneficial to increase milk production.

Abstract

ABSTRACTBreast milk is needed for baby's health and supports optimal growth and development of babies. This nutritional problem in the world shows two extreme conditions, ranging from nutritional status. One of the factors that influence the formation and production of breast milk is nutritional status, because nutrition is needed for infant growth and development. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nutritional status and milk production. The research design is quantitative analytic with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study found 30 people. The sampling technique used accidental sampling. The results of this study were obtained from normal breastfeeding mothers as many as 23 people (70.65%). Statistical test results obtained p-value 0.91 which means from 0.005, so there is no significant relationship between nutritional status and milk production in breastfeeding mothers.

Kata Kunci     : ASI,Protein,Penyimpanan Freezer ABSTRACTProtein content in breast milk is quite high and has a different composition from the protein found in cow's milk. The effects of protein deficiency that occur in infants will cause malnutrition and growth disorders. The purpose of the study was to describe the differences in the protein composition of breast milk after storage in the freezer. This type of research is an experiment with a population of 30 mature breast milk with a total sampling technique. The results showed that the protein content of breast milk after frozen storage (freezer) had an average value of 2.0220 g% and the protein content of breast milk with room temperature storage had an average value of 1.9513gr%, there was a difference in the average value of breast milk protein, which was 0.07067 g. % with a standard deviation of 0.18321 gr% between breast milk stored in the freezer and at room temperature. Keywords         : Breast Milk, Protein, Freezer Storage
