Abstract

This article aims to describe the determination of leaders in education management. Library studies are conducted to explore a variety of relevant sources. The resources used came from reputable books and journals. The sources were searched and searched according to their intended purpose. Methods used to collect research data in the form of literature data that have been selected, searched, presented, and analyzed. The source of this research data looks for library data whose substance blinds the act of processing philosophically and theoretically. The data analysis techniques in the form of content analysis. The results of the library study revealed that the determination of leaders in education management includes the motivation of the work of leaders consisting of intentions, taqwa, and sincere; hard work; sincerity; confidence, and good quality of working life. A good leader is a leader who can perform his role and functions properly with a strong determination with measurable parameters. The results revealed the influence of leadership in education management.

Abstract

Survey of traffic volume is one of the simplest methods to obtain traffic data in order to better understand optimalisation andefficiency so that it can minimize vehicle traffic congestion problems on the highway. The method used is based on descriptive andanalytical methods, which is done is to classify the vehicles in classes manually by counting the number of vehicles per time unitbased on class - class. The purpose of the volume of traffic surveys carried out in the classified Narogong Cullinan Road, Bogorregency during the period August, 2011, results that can be found is the degree of saturation of the highway is still in an acceptablelevel. Analysis of traffic flow at the study site is still under the limit congestion. It is suggested that to reduce the traffic density, thetype of heavy vehicles such as out of the factory operates around the study site between the hours of 10:00 pm to 3:00 am.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat keanekaragaman spesies pada ekosistem padang lamun yang berada di Pantai Sire, Kabupaten Lombok Utara pada tahun 2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif eksploratif yang dilakukan dengan observasi langsung terhadap taksa dan jumlah individu yang ditemukan pada padang lamun di Pantai Sire, Tanjung - KLU. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif untuk menghitung distribusi spesies pada setiap titik sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 2 jenis lamun yang ditemukan pada plot sampling yakni Enhalus accoroides dan Thalassia hemprichii. Bentos makroinvertebrata yang dijumpai pada titik sampling yakni Moluska (Anadara sp., Donax sp, dan Thaisella sp.), dan Echinodermata (timun laut (Holothuria sp.) dan landak laut (Echinoidea)). Indeks keanekaragaman spesies (H’) bentos makroinvertebrata pada semua transek yakni 1,356. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa indeks keanekaragaman spesies bentos makroinvertebrata pada padang lamun tergolong sedang (1<H’<3).

Abstract

This report studies the methodology of contemporary Quranic exegesis in the thought of Fazlur Rahman (1332-1408/1919-1988). He observes that in interpreting the Quran, classical and modern methodologies are no longer conducive to the life of Muslims nowadays. There is a basic need to discover a new method to interpret the Quran which is suitable to the contemporary demand. Thus, the Quran must be studied through the method of double movement. A method which offers an impartial treatment to the message of the Quran and welfare of human life This study is approached by using historical, comparative, and content analysis.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh ekuitas merek dan kualitas pelayanan secara simultan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Rumah Sakit Syarif Hidayatullah, untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekuitas merek dan kualitas pelayanan secara parsial terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Rumah Sakit Syarif Hidayatullah, untuk mengetahui variabel mana yang paling mempengaruhi loyalitas pelanggan pada rumah sakit Syarif Hidayatullah. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan variabel independen ekuitas merek (X1) dan kualitas pelayanan (X2). Metode analisis yang digunakan analisa regresi linier berganda. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60 responden yang diambil secara random dari pasien yang menggunakan jasa rumah sakit. Data yang diperoleh merupakan data primer yang merupakan hasil dari jawaban responden atas kuesioner yang disebarkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara simultan pada variabel merek, kualitas produk, pelayanan, saluran distribusi dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan variabel ekuitas merek dan kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap loyalitas pelanggan. Pada uji determinasi terdapat pengaruh sebesar 74,4% dari variabel independen (ekuitas merek dan kualitas pelayanan) terhadap variabel dependen (loyalitas pelanggan). Sedangkan, sebanyak 25,6% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain dan tidak termasuk kedalam analisis regresi ini. Kata kunci: ekuitas merek, kualitas pelayanan, loyalitas pelanggan

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the principal in improving teacher performance. Research uses a field research approach (field research). The results of the study, the headmaster always supervises or supervises by going around the classroom to see the teacher. In addition to supervising the teaching of the madrasah head teacher also plays a role in the process of monitoring or evaluating the work of all staff in the madrasah including the teacher, the madrasa head tries to influence teachers and employees to encourage enthusiasm for work and commitment to the task objectives. The conclusion of this research is the madrasa head plays an active role in efforts to improve the work ethic of teachers, namely by establishing harmonious relationships with fellow teachers (teachers), providing welfare to teachers who accommodate, control and evaluate teachers in carrying out their tasks so that they can change mindsets in building the character of the teacher, so that the teachers helped build the madrasas to be the foremost in accordance with their vision and mission. Abstract

Abstract: The State Islamic Institute Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin (IAIN STS) Jambi has been applying ISO 9001; 2008 since February 2013. One of previous research findings was the resistance regarding the ISO standards and the certification process. This study was to examine the problem through conducting lecturers’ perception towards ISO 9001; 2008 at IAIN STS Jambi in terms of their awareness, benefits and services. Respondents were lecturers of IAIN STS Jambi as many as 122 people from 4 faculties. The research employed a quantitative survey method that uses a likert-scale questionnaire and analysed with descriptive statistic. The findings show that lecturers’ perception on the application of TQM ISO 9001: 2008 in IAIN STS Jambi included in the group of moderate to high. The mean empirical data (x = 47,30) was higher than the average hypothetical (μ = 42). This indicates that the perception of lecturers on the application of ISO in IAIN STS Jambi is high (positive). Empirical standard deviation (s = 9,910) was higher than the hypothetical standard deviation (σ = 9:33). This shows that the perception of lecturers on the application of ISO 9001: 2008 at IAIN STS Jambi has a high variation. Meanwhile, gender variable has a significant relationship between the perception of ISO 9001: 2008 on improving the quality of teaching. Employment status (fulltime civil employer or non-full-time civil employer) have a significant relationship between the perception of ISO 9001; 2008 for quality of services and quality of coordination.

Abstract

Sartre's philosophical thinking was a reaction to the situation in the first and second world wars, which he considered a humanist. The order of life oriented to materialism and idealism. humans are only considered objects, as 'parts' in large machines called societies and countries. .the relationship between humans and their environment becomes very formal, their thinking is based on profit and loss, everything that does not bring use / productive is considered to be worthless. Sartre's thinking offers a way of liberation by re-enlivening the conversation about human values, by opening up new possibilities that are better for the future life of humans. sartre again directed his analysis to the main problem about who is human who has freedom, independence and as an autonomous personal being.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan merupakan inti dari manajemen pendidikan Islam. Pemimpin sebagai penggerak staf yang ada di dalam organisasi membutuhkan kompetensi yang mumpuni. Salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki adalah kompetensi sosial yang dicerminkan dari sifat empati pimpinan terhadap bawahan dalam melaksanakan fungsi kepemimpinannya. Sifat empati seorang pemimpin tercermin pada sifat pimpinan yang: 1). mendengarkan pembicaraan bawahan dengan baik, artinya individu mampu memberi perhatian dan menjadi pendengar yang baik dari segala permasalahan yang di ungkapkan bawahan kepadanya; 2). menerima sudut pandang bawahan, artinya pimpinan mampu memandang permasalahan dari titik pandang bawahan sehingga pemimpin memiliki sifat toleransi dan menerima perbedaan; 3). peka terhadap perasaan bawahan, artinya pimpinan mampu membaca perasaan bawahan dari isyarat verbal dan non verbal seperti nada bicara, ekspresi wajah, gerak-gerik dan bahasa tubuh lainnya. Teori yang mendasari seorang pemimpin dalam menerapkan konsep empati dalam kepemimpinan adalah  kepemimpinan sifat (trait theory), teori kepemimpinan situasi, dan teori kelompok.

Abstract

In the development of the Indonesian nation, every effort is aimed at improving the quality of human resources, which means that people are central to national development and as an effort to increase competitiveness in the global market. Effective management of human resources (HR) must be considered in order to support the strategies that will be applied in order to contribute in creating competitive advantage in an organization. Competitive advantage can be created through effective human resource management by taking into account internal and external factors of the organization / educational institution that will be confronted. In addition, competitive human resources need to be supported by several elements, namely strategy in human resource management, organizational resources, and organizational strategy. The discussion of this study regarding; First, the concept of Human Resource Management which discusses the design or ideas, understanding and functions of human resource management. Second, Competitive Advantage in Human Resources, which is about the ability obtained through the characteristics and resources of a person, to have higher performance compared to other educational organizations / institutions in the same industry or market. Third, Management of Human Resources in Improving Competitive Advantage, namely regarding management strategies to achieve competitive advantage in human resources.
