Abstract

The use of Exhaust fan is a device that we often encounter in our daily lives. And in its use is still controlled by humans themselves and classified as manual, so manual use is very inconvenient to exhaust fan users, so that if it is controlled systematically using fuzzy logic, where the logic to be implanted is, to accelerate the exhaust fan rotation rate if a value is obtained that will refer at the high level of impurities detected by sensors that have been setup and determined in such a way, so that exhaust fan can work in accordance with what is instructed by the logic that is embedded in the microcontroller system.

Abstract

One of the solutions for the smooth flow of vehicles in big cities is to build toll road infrastructure. The toll road is a freeway with a paid system that can only be passed by four or more wheeled vehicles. There is often a buildup of vehicles when making payment transactions because the vehicle classification system is still manual or a wrong class occurs when payment transactions. To improve service quality, the use of deep learning to determine the class of vehicles or to correct transaction results is deemed effective. Abstract

The number of virus infected status known as covid -19 is increasing in the southern Jakarta area, namely Pondok Labu, West Cilandak, Jagakarsa, Lenteng Agung, Pasar Minggu and Ragunan, it is necessary to classify the data to find out the negative status of covid-19 virus infection or positive infected with covid virus -19. The technique of classifying positive or negative covid-infected virus status with the naïve bayes classification method. To manage the data, software rapid miner 9. 6 is used, the infected status dataset covid -19 is obtained from the websitejeo. compass. CalculationPrediction shows the classification of the Naïve Bayes method obtained a positive prediction that shows a figure of 55.48% and a negative prediction result of 44.52%. From the results of the classification of data that has been obtained can be seen that the largest prediction found in the positive status infected with covid -19 virus reached 55.48%.

Abstract

The Faculty of Biology at the National University has a Microbiology and Genetics laboratory which is used for practicum activities, research, and fieldwork lectures. At the analysis stage, problems were found, namely in recording the use of equipment and materials used by students for research activities still using conventional methods, this resulted in delays in managing and conveying information. Adequate lecture facilities are an important aspect in helping the teaching and learning process. Based on the background of the problem, the author aims to make the equipment monitoring process more efficient, using Android-based devices. The author uses the Sequential search method in the process of monitoring equipment in the laboratory. This research was tested using black-box testing and white box testing by distributing questionnaires conducted using a Likert scale with a value range of 5 to 25 student correspondents with an average value for software testing = 4.6; Interface = 4.44; Software features = 4.32; item search feature = 4.08; with the final mean = 4.09.

Abstract

The Auditorium of the National University is one of the assets and facilities at the National University which is managed by the Public Administration Unit (BAU). Usually, the public rents the auditorium for various purposes such as for seminars, weddings, training, and so on. However, currently, the auditorium rental process is still manual, where tenants must come directly to the BAU unit of the National University to obtain building information and schedule certainty. This makes tenants need more time if they want to rent. This study develops a web-based application for the Management of the National University Auditorium Rental with the Rational Unified Process (RUP) method as a solution to these problems. The development will highlight the RUP model and utilizing the Unified Modeling Language (UML) tool for modeling and using the PHP language for construction. The result of this research is the availability of a rental management application that makes tenants easier to rent the auditorium and makes the BAU unit easier to manage the auditorium rental. The results of application testing using the black box method show that all application functions are running well. In addition, testing using the User Acceleration Test (UAT) application easy to use 92%, asy menu display 88,8% and software features 86,4%.

Abstract

The National University has a number of rooms that can be used by the entire academic community to support their activities. Currently, the use of the room is managed by the General Administration Unit (BAU) of the National University. Anyone who will use the room must apply for a permit to the BAU unit. The problem is, currently the existing process is still manual where the borrower must come directly to the unit. If the room has been borrowed by someone else or the BAU unit admin is not in place, then the borrower's efforts will be in vain. This is certainly not effective and efficient. This research designs and develops a Web-based application for borrowing meeting rooms at the National University. The application was designed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) tool and developed with the PHP and MySQL languages. The result of this research is the availability of room loan applications at the National University. The results of testing the logic path with the white box testing method, testing is carried out on the admin and borrower flowcharts resulting in cyclomatic complicity 8, region 8, and independent path 8 logic paths that are good and have good functionality based on the black box method testing.

Abstract

The BRT Unit (Household Section) in carrying out its duties requires several work tools that are used to support the work process properly and correctly. The tools used are tools that are stored in the BRT Unit room and when they want to be borrowed, the employee only takes these tools which have been previously ordered by the head of the BRT unit and then recorded by the room operator. In the process, the data on equipment borrowing is not guaranteed to be stored because it is only recorded on a book or paper provided by the BRT unit. Furthermore, in the return process, borrowed tools sometimes have some tools that are no longer suitable for use, to find out how many inventory tools are borrowed and find out the stock of tools available so as to facilitate job data collection. The test method for the application uses white-box testing with the value of Cyclomotic Complexity = 9, Region = 9 and Independent Path = 9 so that the mechanical Inventory application is produced.

Abstract

The Academic Administration division (BAA) plays a role in the process of issuing student certificates at the National University. Although the data has been computerized, the process of issuing the letter is still manual so it is less effective and efficient. Students must come to the BAA unit to apply for the issuance of a student certificate, including for data correction purposes if needed. This will require more effort for students in terms of time, energy and material. This research is to design a Web-Based Student Certificate Making System that can simplify the service process and submission of a certificate for students at the National University. This system is integrated and responsive and is accessed online. The application was developed with the waterfall model and utilizes the Unified Modeling Language (UML) tool and uses the PHP programming language. The result of this study is the existence of a web-based certificate application design that can facilitate students in obtaining student certificates at the National University. The results of testing the application using the white-box and black-box methods, indicate that the logic and functionality of the application is running well and can be used by the BAA unit of the National University.

Abstract

The BRT unit is a part of the National University that manages electronic equipment including repairing or maintenance in the event of a breakdown. Usually, BRT unit technicians carry out the process of repairing electronic equipment based on complaints received from staff/employees. However, so far the complaint process is still manual and recorded using simple tools such as excel, word and ledgers. This causes the process of electronic complaints and maintenance to be slow. Therefore, in this study, a web-based electronic complaint and maintenance application will be developed at the National University. The application was developed based on the waterfall model using the PHP programming language and using a MySQL database using the First in First Out (FIFO) method. The results of this study are the availability of applications that can help the processing of electronic complaints and maintenance data to be more effective and efficient. Testing of the application was carried out using the White-box and Black-box methods and testing on 3 flowcharts including the Staff/Employee Logic flowchart, Admin Logic flowchart and Technician Logic flowchart with white-box testing calculated cyclomatic complacity and resulted in Cyclomotic Complexity = 8, Region = 8 with path Independent Path = 8 where the result shows that all the logic and functionality of the application has been running well.
