Abstract

Abstract: This article discusses  Tafsīr Pase, a local exegesis of the Quran. The tafsīr was written in Aceh in pre independence day, brought about by the unstable social conditions (conflict). These conditions have implications on the pattern of this tafsīr, so that the contains cover the ideas on the empowerment of  Acehnese, expected to increase the unity and the brotherhood among them. Tafsīr Pase compiled by a team of five people. The name “Pase”, which is used as the name of this tafsīr, was  taken from one of the oldest kingdoms in Aceh. It is interesting that this quranic exegesis begins with the study of Ulūm al-Qurān before entering the discussion of tafsīr using cultural approach.Kata Kunci: Tafsir Pase, Aceh, pendekatan kebahasaan, sastra lokal

Abstract

This article explores the interpretation of the verse about adultery in the QS. Al-Isra; 32, QS. Al-Nur; 2 in perspective of the Qur'anic Interpretation. The object of the Qur’anic interpretation in this study is the interpretation of al-Tahrir wa al-Tanwir by Ibn ‘Asyur, Tafsir al-Munir by Wahba al-Zuhaili. The study of the interpretation of the Qur'an has a perspective based on asbab al-nuzul, munasabah and the meaning contained in the verse. The results found in the interpretation of the Qur’an showed that the act of adultery is one of the strongly prohibited acts, the law taxt is a strict law and provides the connotation of disclosure loaded with very adverse effects on perpetrators, families and the wider community.
