Abstract

ABSTRACTWinda Trisnawati Karaeng. Competitive and Comparative Advantages of Corn Commodity in South Minahasa Regency, Under guidance of Dr. Ir. Paul A. Pangemanan, MS as a Chairman, Ir. Celsius Talumingan, MP and Jean F. J. Timban, SP, MSi as Members.The objective of this research is to analyze competitive and comparative advantages of corn commodity in South Minahasa. The research had been done for two months, start from April 2014 until May 2014. Location of this research was Paslaten Satu Village at Tatapaan Sub District, North Sulawesi Province. Data used in this research was from primary and secondary data. Primary data was from interviews with respondents by used a list of questionaire. While the secondary data was from the relevant departments, such as Agricultural Service, Industrial Service and Statistical Centre Department.The research result showed that corn commodity in South MinahasaRegency has advantages using calculations of Private Profitability (137,159) and Social Profitability (68,139). It means that the corn commodity was efficient and had both competitive advantage and comparative advantage. Two indicators for measure competitiveness were 1) Private Cost Ratio (PCR) show that the corn farmer’s is more competitive because PCR < 1, and 2) Domestic Resources Cost Ratio (DRCR) show that the corn commodity has comparative advantage because DRCR < 1. It means that the corn commodity according to financial analysis was efficient and has greater potency in international trade.

Abstract

ABSTRACTHera Ch. S. Ratulangi. The strategy of furniture industry development CV “Rumambun Indah” in Touliang Oki village Eris district Of Minahasa (regency under the supervision of Celsius Talumingan, as a chairman, Caroline B. D. Pakasi and Jenny Baroleh as the members).The objective of this research is to find out the potency and the the strategy of furniture industry development in Touliang Oki village Eris district of Minahasa. This research is worthwhile since furniture industries have contributed to the regional income of the district of MinahasaPrimary data were collected by interview during april, 2014 to August, 2014 by interview to respondent. SWOT analysis is3applied to analysis of furniture industry development strategy CV “Rumambun Indah”.The results of this study indicated that the furniture industry CV “Rumambun Indah” has a potential to grow as indicated by analysis position which show that CV Rumambun Indah was in quadrant one that meant CV Rumambun Indah is in favorable situation to grow.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the selection of suppliers of coconut raw materials in PT. Royal Coconut with AHP approach (Hirarchy Analytical Process). Data were obtained by interview and questionnaires from the sample determined Judgement sampling and other data obtained from the BPS, the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Trade and Industry, at North Minahasa. Data analysis using AHP approach (Hirarchy Analytical Process)with Expert Choice software 11. The results show that the raw material supplier Area A (region: Maumbi Village, Kawangkoan Village, Village Kolongan, Airmadidi Village, the Village and Village Matungkas Laikit) is a top priority and the second priority area is Area B (region: Tatelu, Talawaan, Airport area) and Area C (Likupang area) and D (region: South Minahasa dan Southeast Minahasa) are the third and forth priority.Methods and Models selection of suppliers of raw materials can be applied by PT. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to identify the coconut plantation commodity logistics system in Sangihe Islands District. The method used in this study is a survey method. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained using the technique of direct interview to farmers and businesses as respondents, using a list of questions (questionnaire) as a tool in data collection. Secondary data were obtained from the department / agencies in the Sangihe Islands District Office of Industry and Trade, Department of Plantations, BAPPEDA, Central Bureau of Statistics and the Department of Transportation. The location of the sample data retrieval, the District of North Tabukan for coconuts and cloves and nutmeg Kendahe for commodities. The determination of these two sub-district based on this location as commodity-producing areas of coconut, nutmeg and cloves highest in Sangihe Islands District as well as most of the villagers are farmers coconut, nutmeg and cloves, so that the two districts are considered to represent the research on logistics system plantation in District Sangihe. Analysis of the data used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis where the data obtained will be described to obtain an overview of the process of agricultural commodity logistics and qualitatively analyze the meaning behind the information obtained so composed a systematic knowledge of the process, the reality, of the phenomenon of commodity logistics system plantation in Sangihe Islands District. Furthermore, the data will be analyzed using analysis of network models to determine the shortest route is the path / shortest route in a network. The results showed that the Coconuts are processed into copra farmers then sold to traders, usually through storage by traders to achieve copra delivery quota to a large warehouse. The conclusion of this study is coconut plantation commodity logistics system in the District of Sangihe through three stages ranging from farmers, traders up in the warehouse for distribution to the various regions, where already existing lines patterned in accordance with the timely distribution to Bitung even some which is distributed to the Philippines. Specifically for the commodity nutmeg an cloves, distribution using passenger ship The suggestion in this research is the need for calculation of efficiency and effectiveness analysis of the logistics system of agricultural commodity in Sangihe Islands District to Bitung and the Philippines.Keywords: Logistics, Plantation, Coconut

Abstract

ABSTACT The objective of this research in to observe the realization of chanelling KUR Agriculture at Bank BRI Tondano Branch Offices. The research was conducted with data collecting taken from Bank BRI Tondano Branch Offices. The data is processed qualitative research methods presented in the form of charts and tables.  The Research result indicate that the study of KUR Agricultural field at Bank BRI Tondano Branch Offices showed excellent improvement, but the socialization of KUR financing to farmers in rural areas is still lacking, so there are many farmers who are less familiar with the financing programmed government since 2007.

The data usedin this research issecondary data, the datais takenfrom relevant agencies that is; The Central Statistics Agency Bolaang Mongondow, BAPPEDA Bolaang Mongondow Regency, Department of Agriculture and Livestockin BolaangMongondow, and Department of Forestry and Plantationin BolaangMongondow. The results showed thatContributions GNP Plantation Sub-Sector to economic growth in Bolaang Mongondow is accelerating as shown by the economic growth of GNP on the constant prices in figures 2014, where in 2013 reach 6,84 % from the previous year to reach  6,49 %. Plantation sub-sector ia a sector base value of Location Quotient (LQ) average of 1,10 can move the economy in Bolaang Mongondow.  Keywords : GNP, Plantation Sub-Sector, Economic growth

Abstract

ABSTRACT  This study conducted to determine noodles customer satisfaction the generally seen from the aspect of the product, price, place and service. Research carried out for two months the January 2015 to March 2015 from preparation to making the report. Research was conducted in Pinasungkulan market Manado Karombasan in this case Mie Steven factory, which is focus of consumers who directly buy noodles. Data collected by using the primary data and  secondary data. Primary data was obtained directly through direct interviews with consumers who buy noodles by using  a list of questions / questionnaire that has been prepared, while the secondary data obtained from  related companies of this study, the data analyted using quantitative analysis. Data were measured using a customer satisfaction index (Customer Satisfaction Index). The results showed that the Consumers Statisfaction Index Average of Product, Price, Place and service is satisfied with customer satisfaction index of 72.95 percent. It means that the product, price, service has to meet consumer expectations, while the place has not keep the expectations of consumrs because respondents mean provide an assessment quite satisfied.

Abstract

ABSTRAC This study aims to determine the distribution of the income of farmers in the village Ka- pataran The District of East Lembean using primary and secondary data, which for secondary data obtained from agencies associated with this research, while primary data was taken at ran- dom by using a list of questions (questionnaire ). Selected Villages Kapataran One who has a number of farmers 60 305 inhabitants of the population of farmers as an area of research, be- cause the village is a small village with a population compared to other villages in the district and village Lembean East is a source of revenue that is homogeneous and the District of East Lembean as one of the agricultural centers in Minahasa, North Sulawesi. The number of farmers who used a sample of 60 farmers or farm households. The degree of inequality of income distri- bution seen from the farm business income only by the Gini index ketimpangannya level being, while based on the World Bank krieria inequality is very lame. Judging from the total income derived from agricultural and non-agricultural businesses inequality of income distribution seen Gini index is also at a moderate level, but based on the World Bank is very lame Inequality nice views of the Gini index and the World Bank criteria with their off-farm businesses increased lev- el ketimpangannya. With the jobs that are open to the public so that more utilize income is so high that its income distribution is more increased when in tambahakan with non-agricultural businesses.   Keywords: farmers income

Abstract

ABSTRACT Rotate overlap is a system of farming for a year or more consisting of several times planting one or several types of crops in rotation . This study aims to determine the magnitude of Rice and Tomato farm income as a plant overlapping shifts during one year . There are many combinations of plants that are cultivated farmers within one year of production , and kombinassi - combination of these plants generally always be replaced in each year . Production depends on weather conditions and market demand . The benefits of this research as information for researchers , and as fill material for the extension agencies concerned and the parties need .

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the advantages and value added received by the processing business akarwangi became essential oil.This research has been conducted since December of 2015 until January of 2016 at the X company , located in North Minahasa Regency. Retrieval and data collection included primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from akarwangi crop production effort using questionnaires. Secondary data were obtained from various print and online media as well as from journals and literature relating to this study. Data analysis methods applied in this study, in order to see how the value-added processing of akarwangi into essential oils is the first to use the analysis of business profits and subsequently used analasis value added. The results showed that business processing akarwangi becomes essential oil provides a great advantage, by using the main raw material of akarwangi were harvested from plantation company itself as many as 24. 375 kg can produce 243,75 kg essential oils of akarwangi and the price of essential oil per kilogram is equal Rp. 3,000,000. For the price of akarwangi crops on the market in 2007 approximately Rp. 500 / kg (Indrawanto, 2007) and in 2008 the price reached Rp. 800 / kg (Yuhono 2008), Assuming the price of plant akarwangi rise 6-7% annually then in 2015 the average price of akarwangi plants is Rp. 3000 / kg. Gross revenues derived from the company amounting to Rp. 731 250 000, after deducting expenses totaling Rp. 126.155.000, then the net profit processing business akarwangi in Essential Oils Industry Company X in North Minahasa Regency is Rp. 605.095.000. The biggest cost component is the raw material of Rp. 73.125.000. followed by auxiliary materials costs Rp. 19.750.000. then the depreciation tool cost Rp 16.560.000. and labor costs are determined based on the level of wages that have been agreed, length of work and the number of working days Rp. 12,000,000. as well as a rental fee of Rp. 4,000,000. The lowest cost incurred for cost of electricity is Rp. 720,000. By doing the calculation of value-added analysis, the obtained results of the added value of this business is Rp. 621.905.000 and for the value that is added to the raw material of akarwangi is Rp. 25.514/kg. The amount of added value is derived from the total value added of Rp. 621.905.000 divided by 24. 375 kg amount of raw material akarwangi used and the results is Rp. 25.514/ kg, meaning that for every one kilogram of raw materials akarwangi used can provide additional value of Rp. 25.514. in the production of akarwangi into Essential Oils.
