Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the understanding of following Jesus according to the Gospel of Matthew 16:24 on the motivation for the call to be the Servant of God among students of STT Nusantara Salatiga. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The results showed that there was a low influence between the understanding of following Jesus according to the Gospel of Matthew 16:24 on the motivation for the call to become servants of God in students of STT Nusantara Salatiga in 2018. This is indicated by the level of correlation which is only 0.222. The results of the regression analysis showed that the coefficient of determination was 22.2%, meaning that the motivation for the call to become God's servant for STT Nusantara Salatiga students in 2018 was influenced by 22.2% by the understanding of following Jesus according to the Gospel of Matthew 16: 24, the rest 77.8% was influenced by other factors. which the authors did not research. The existence of a gap between understanding and motivation is due to other factors that may also significantly influence motivation. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh pemahaman mengikut Yesus menurut Injil Matius 16:24 terhadap motivasi panggilan menjadi Hamba Tuhan pada mahasiswa STT Nusantara Salatiga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang rendah antara pemahaman mengikut Yesus menurut Injil Matius 16:24 terhadap motivasi panggilan nmenjadi hamba Tuhan pada mahasiswa STT Nusantara Salatiga tahun 2018. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan tingkat korelasi yang hanya sebesar 0,222. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa koofisien determinasi sebesar 22,2%, artinya motivasi panggilan menjadi hamba Tuhan mahasiswa STT Nusantara Salatiga tahun 2018 dipengaruhi 22,2% oleh pemahaman mengikut Yesus menurut Injil Matius 16: 24, selebihnya 77,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti oleh penulis. Adanya kesenjangan antara pemahaman dengan motivasi disebabkan adanya factor-faktor lain yang mungkin secara signifikan juga mempengaruhi motivasi.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic which has occurred for more than a year in Indonesia has directly and indirectly affected the learning process in universities, one of which is the Intheos Surakarta Theological School. This is due to the lack of intensity of face-to-face meetings between students and lecturers which causes a lack of understanding of the material being taught and students' lack of readiness for distance learning. So that lecturers need to habituate independent learning for each student in addition to so that students are trained to develop their ideas and ideas independently and train students to think critically to face tougher future challenges. For this reason, the author uses a qualitative method approach with case studies and literature studies in order to formulate a habituation strategy for independent learning that is applied by lecturers with various sources that are in accordance with the context of the discussion. From this research, it can be concluded that the more effective the lecturer's strategy in habituating the independent learning of students, the more positive it will be for improving learning outcomes in these courses.

Abstract

Penatalayanan merupakan tata kelola pastoral gerejawi termasuk mengenai uang dengan setia. Akan tetapi, banyak yang mempersoalkan apakah boleh dan pantaskah keuangan gereja ditangani gembala jemaat, hal tersebut merupakan tujuan tulisan ini yang akan dijawab. Penelitian ini ialah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Lokasi penelitian di Gereja Pantekosta di Indonesia Jemaat Imanuel Pucang Gading Demak, Jawa Tengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan justru oleh moralitas uang dengan cash and flow Pantekosta, yakni kepemilikan harta benda dalam prinsip-prinsip Alkitab, dijalankan bertanggung jawab, akuntabilitas pengelolaan, dan menghargai berkat Tuhan. Hal itu mampu meningkatkan neraca gereja khususnya persembahan perpuluhan jemaat. Sesuai dengan ketentuan organisasi, gembala justru menujukkan keteladanan dengan tertib dan terbuka dalam menyetor perpuluhan ke Majelis Wilayah berdampak baik kepada jemaat, sehingga mereka berbuat hal sama ke gereja lokal.
