Abstract

The aim of this research was to investigate the dose of Thyroxine (T4) hormone in fish meal on the growth of Bawal bintang fish (Trachinotus blochii, Lacepede). The research method used was experimental method and Complete Random Device (CRD) with four treatments and three replications. The treatments in this study were control (without thyroxine hormone), 0,3 mg Thyroxine hormone / kg of feed, 0,6 mg Thyroxine hormone / kg of feed and 0,9 mg Thyroxine hormone / kg of feed. The best result was treatment on 0,9 mg Thyroxine hormone / kg of feed with absolute growth weights (1,42 g), absolute growth length (2,34 cm), specific growth rate (6,07 %), feed efficiency (69,34 %) and survival rate (99,83 %).Keywords : Survival rate, Feed efficiency, Bawal bintang

Abstract

This research was conducted from January until March, 2013 in the pond experiment of Fisheries and Marine Science Faculty of Riau University, Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research was to improve the effectiveness of the tool automatic feeder in feeding on aquaculture. The method used was direct observation method and the treatments descriptive analyzes. Treatments were : low (8 volt), mid (10 volt), and hight (12 volt). The best results in the treatment of hight (12 volt) quantity feed out 620 – 648 grams, the distance issues feed 2,5 – 3,0 m and the level of error granting feed 0,74 %.Keywords : Automatic Feeder, Modification, Feeding

Abstract

The research was conducted on Date 26 February - 12 April 2015 in Aquafarm Hatchery Park road work, Pekanbaru. Objectives and Benefits Research husband was to determine the growth and survival of fish tapah (Wallago leeri) Solid stocking. Methods Used hearts Research husband is experimental method and RAL with three treatments and three replications, treated hearts Research husband is P1 3 heads / 60liter, 4 tail P2 / liter, P3 tail 5 / liter. Results indicate that stocking Solid 4 head / liter. Absolute growth rate of fish tapah highest weight 39.91 grams, length 2,34 cm Absolute, daily growth rate of 1,07%. Abstract

This research was conducted from February to April 2015 at Taman Karya Hatchery, Pekanbaru-Riau. This research aims to determine the amount of feed appropriate and optimal for the growth and survival rate of fish tapah (Wallago leeri). The method used is experiments with 3 trial and 3 replications. The treatment are P1 = 3% dosage of the weight biomass, P2 = 5% dosage of the weight biomass and P3 = 7% dosage of the weight biomass. The results showed that the best treatment is P2 (5% dosage of the weight biomass) with the absolute growth weight of 34.5 grams, the absolute length of 6.0 cm, and a daily growth rate of 1.2%. The best results on feed efficiency and survival rate is P1 treatment of 11.9% and 100%.Keyword : Wallago leeri, Dosage fish trash, Domestictation

Abstract

A feeding experiment was conducted to determine the optimal dose of growth and survival rate for larval perch (Lates calcarifer). Larval initial average weight 0,022 g, initial average body length 7,38 mm and old 15 days. Completely randomized design with five treachments and three replications were use : A (naupli artemia), B (naupli artemia + squalene 0,3 g/L), C (naupli artemia + squalene 0,6 g/L), D (naupli artemia + squalene 0,9 g/L), E (naupli artemia + squalene 1,2 g/L). The results showed that the growth in survival rate, growth of body weight (AW), and growth of body length(AL). Based on the evaluation of the some parameters ; SR (80,6%), AW(0,813 g) AL (3,21 cm)and SGR (16,1 % day). It can be concluded that treatment D (naupli + squalene 0,9 g/L) is optimal for growth and survival rate for larval perch (Lates calcarifer).Key words : Lates calcarifer, different dose, enriched by squalene

Abstract

Study was conducted in January-February 2015, at mandiangin Freshwater Aquaculture Centres,kalimantan selatan province. This study aims to determine the growth of the seed gabus fish (Chana striata)and survival rate of the seed gabus fish(Chana striata) as well as to determine the efficiency of feed consumed of the seed gabus ffish (Chana striata), which are given artificial feed with different protein content. The research method used an experimental with 3 treatments and 3 replications of feeding 2 times a day with different protein content is 30 % , 35 % and 40 %. Test materials used 180 gabus fish (Chana striata) a container of 9 aquarium with stocking density 1 head / liter. The results showed that the artificial feeding with a protein content of 40% better compared to the feeding with a protein content of 30% and 35 %,that is a higher growth of weight gain (2,896 g), daily growth rate (9,03%), survival rate (80%)and feed efficiency 89.65 %.Keyword :Gabus fiish (Chana striata), Fedding made with diferen protein content, and growth.

Abstract

This research was conducted from 19 January to 15 February 2016, during 28 days in Technology Laboratory of Fisheries Faculty and Marine Sciences, University of Riau. The aim of the research was to investigate the effect of different filters on growth and survival rates of catfishlarvae(Pangasius hypopthalmus) with recirculation system. Fish larvae were rearedin aquarium in density of 1 fish per liter. The method used was experiment with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were P1 or control = without filter; P2 or K,P,I= gravel, sand, palm fiber ; P3 or Z,P,I = zeolit, sand, palm fiber; P4 or S,P,I = spon, sand, palm fiber. The best treatment was achieved by P3or Z,P,I with survival rate 99 %, absolute growth weight 0,90 g, absolute growth length 3,2 mm, daily growth rate 9,2418 %and the best quality parameters of water recorded during in the research period was achieved by Z,P,I :temperature 25-29 oC, pH 7,2, turbidity 1,39 NTU, dissolved oxygen (DO)6,36 mg/L, ammonia (NH3) 0,0554 mg/L, nitrit (NO2-)0,186 mg/L, nitrat (NO3-) 1,32 mg/L.Keywords : Pangasius hypopthalmus, Filter, Recirculation, Zeolit, larvae

Abstract

This research was conducted from May to June 2017 for 45 days in HatcheryTIU (Technical Implementation Unit) of Marine and Fisheries Faculty, University ofRiau. The aims of this study were to determine the growth and survival rate of Siamesecatfish which were reared on different shape of the tanks. The tanks were made oftarpaulin plastic material with 30 L of water volume capacity. Stocking density ofexperimental fishes were 30 fishes/tank. The method of the study was an experimentalmethod with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were: P1 = circle shape, P2 =Square-shape, P3 = Octagonal shape, P4 = Triangular shape, and P5 = Rectangularshaped. The result of this study can be concluded that different shape of tanks have nosignificant effect on growth and survival rate performance of the Siamese catfish fries.The growth performance of round, square, octagonal, triangle and rectangular shape oftanks respectively has given an absolute weight growth of 5.93 g; 6.00 g; 6.18 g; 5.72 gand 5.77 g, then an absolute length growth were 4.88 cm; 4.93 cm; 4.91 cm; 4.76 cm and4.85 cm, a daily growth rate 4.24%, 4.32%, 4.27%, 4.21% and 4.24, the food efficiency92.67%, 92.63% , 94.31%, 92.42% and 91.23% and the survival rate 100%, 97.8%,100%, 98.9% and 100% respectively. The result of water quality measurement which isstill in the optimal range for rearing the Siamese catfish where the temperature was 28-30° C, 5-6 of pH, 5-6 mg/L of DO, 0,03-0,05 mg / L of Ammonia, 0,17-0,20 mg / L ofNitrite, and Nitrate was 0.80-0.98 mg / L.Keywords : Pangasius hypopthalmus, recirculation system, different shape of tanksurvival rate

Abstract

This research was conducted from December 2015 until January 2016 at Technology Research and Development Center in Riau Balitbang. The purpose of this research was to investigate growth and survival rate of african catfish with difference of stocking density in bioflocs techniques. This research using experimental method and completely random design (RAL) with three treatment and three replications, three are P1 : Stocking density 200 ekor/m3, P2 : Stocking density 300 ekor/m3, P3 : Stocking density 400 ekor/m3. The result showed that african catfish with difference of stocking density in bioflocs techniques significant effect on quality of water, absolute length growth, spesific growth rate, the growth of absolute weight, and survival rate. The best treatment were obtained in treatment stocking density 300 ekor/m3, with value growth of quality of water (temperature 27-32oC, DO 3,09-4,16 mg/L, pH 6,7-7,1 and NH3 0,07-0,09 mg/L) absolute weight 50,15 g, growth in absolute length 12,63 cm, specific growth rate 3,99% and survival rate 98,16%.Keyword : african catfish, stocking density, Bioflocs technology

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk Menganalisis kondisi ketersediaan sumber air baku, kondisi UPTD Air Minum dan kebijakan pemerintah daerah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih masyarakatnya serta kebijakan dan strategi pemanfaatan sumber air di Kabupaten Siak untuk pengembangan UPTD Air Minum Kabupaten Siak. Lokasi penelitian berada di Kabupaten Siak, Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Kondisi sumber air baku di kabupaten jumlahnya banyak namun kualitas airnya yang kurang baik. Belum adanya kebijakan berwawasan lingkungan. Permasalahan jarak, luas wilayah, sebaran penduduk, topografi, dan sumber listrik berakibat pada tingginya biaya perpipaan dan pemasangan aksesoris. Cakupan pelayanan UPTD Air Minum masih kecil dan Pendanaan juga masih bergantung kepada pemerintah daerah. Kelembagaan masih berbentuk UPTD. Dilihat dari aspek Oprasional, UPTD Air Minum Kabupaten Siak belum optimal. Aspek sumber daya manusia sudah baik. Aspek strategi menunjukan masyarakat merupakan prioritas utama dalam strategi pengembangan, setelah itu baru aspek lingkungan dan pemerintah yang menjadi prioritas kedua dan ketiga. Alternatif strategi yang bisa dilakukan adalah dengan meningkatkan infrastruktur, inovasi teknologi, Kerjasama dengan masyarakat dan pihak swasta, peningkatan pendanaan, Peningkatan kualitas kelembagaan, Pemnafaatan air permukaan, Penerapan perda tentang air minum
