This study aims to determine the risk management process of financing run by BRI Syariah Branch Bogor on housing financing, whether its at the stage of analysis of prospective borrowers before the approval of the financing, management processes after being given housing financing, as well as upon the occurrence of financing problems or congestion repayment of the financing of debtor. Risk management is defined as a logical and systematic method in the identification, quantification, take a stand, set of solutions, as well as to monitor and report the risks that goes on every activity or process (N. Ferry Indroes; 2008). There are five stages in the process of risk management, ie risk identification, risk assessment, risk mitigation, risk monitoring and control and risk reporting (Imam Wahyudi, et al: 2013). The method used in this research is qualitative method with descriptive analysis approach. Qualitative research is research that aims to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by the subject of the study such behavior, perception, motivation, action, and others in a holistic manner and by way of description in the form of words and language, in a specific context that is natural and by utilizing a variety of natural methods. The kind of research that I use is a field study (Field Research) conducted by the research directly on BRI Syariah Branch office Bogor.Results from this study is the risk management that is applied to housing financing BRI Syariah Branch Bogor include the identification of the most important in selecting candidates running debtor is the analysis of 5C (Character, Capacity, Capital, Colateral, Condition of Economy).
