Abstract

Maintenance and repair of household electrical appliances for the Rukun community Residents 09 Bunulrejo Village / Kec. Blimbing - Malang City, gives additional the skills and motivation for the Rukun Community of 09 Bunulrejo Village for practice maintenance and repair of household electrical appliances for the Rukun community Residents 09 Bunulrejo Village. Besides that it can also improve skills addition to the community of Rukun Warga 09 Kelurahan Bunulrejo in the field of care and repair of household electrical appliances for the 09 Rukun Warga community in the Village Bunulrejo that applies in this era.

Abstract

Training on the correct, precise and safe installation of electric power installations for the people assisted by the Manpower Office in the Malang City Government. The existence of this training is expected to provide additional skills for installing power installations, to be used in working on installing power installations that are correct and safe and in accordance with standards, so as to minimize work hazards or accidents due to errors due to installation and use.

Abstract

In planning external protection systems, the methods that are widely used are conventional and electrostatic lightning rod methods, therefore to study further, the results of observations that have been made to the industry there is still no lightning rod system so the author will try to plan and compare the plans of the two types of rods. lightning rods are Conventional ( Franklin ) and Electrostatic ( EF Lightning Protection System ) lightning rods in terms of protection, technical, economical, advantages and disadvantages. The research and observation methods were carried out in the furniture industry area of PT. Marufuji Kenzai Indonesia, with data collection techniques through direct observation, interviews, and literature studies, so that the building plan data (height, width and length of the building) are obtained and the 2020 thunder day data (IKL 238) then the data obtained is used to calculate the parameters in planning the installation of lightning rods according to the standards of SNI 03-7015-2004 and PUIPP. So that the results obtained for planning the conventional method ( Franklin ) with the placement of air terminations using the rolling ball method obtained 22 finials installed with buildings that can withstand currents of up to 160.1 kA and for the electrostatic method ( EF Lightning Protection System ) with 1 finial the building can withstand currents up to 25,891 kA, and if it exceeds this value a lightning rod will be caught.

Abstract

Installation of spotlights and LED strips with automatic operation at the entrance gate of the SPI Cluster RT.10 RW.04 Bandungrejosari Village, Sukun District Malang City is based on the absence of lighting contained in the writing of the Sukun Pondok Indah Cluster (SPI) so that many guests or couriers who are not aware of the housing. With the installation of spotlights and LED strips, it is hoped that the writing on the gate of the Sukun Pondok Indah cluster will be bright and visible so that guests or couriers can immediately know about the housing. Then people can see when installing spotlights and LED strips with automatic operation, they hope that people can install lighting installations automatically in their respective homes correctly and according to standards. Then people do not need to operate the ON / OFF spotlights and LED strip every day. That way, the benefits of installing spotlights and LED strips with automatic operation, people don't need to ON / OFF the lighting every time.

Abstract

Transformers MA164 (250 kVA) and MA267 (250 kVA) have experienced overload (LoadMA164 = 102% and LoadMA267 = 111%) based on the loading standardization, namely SE DIR PT. PLN (Persero) No.0017/2014 (≤ 80%). The MA164 and MA267 transformers also have the farthest customer end voltages of 187 V (ΔVMA164 = 23%) and 189 V (ΔVMA267 = 22%) which do not comply with SPLN standard No. 1 Th. 1995 (+5% and -10%). An effective solution is to install an insert transformer because MA164 and MA267 cannot be uprated and cannot be broken by the JTR load. For planning the installation of the insert transformer it is necessary to carry out load forecasting, determination of the capacity of the insert transformer, division of the line of the farthest customer parts, determination of the location and selection of distribution substation accessories.The MA164 insert transformer (160 kVA) is installed at a distance of 416 m from the MA164 Transformer with a loading of 47%, while the MA267 insert transformer (200 kVA) is installed at a distance of 255 m from the MA164 Transformer with a loading of 47%. After installation the insert transformer MA164 transformer has a load of 77% and a end voltage of 211.9 V (ΔVMA164 = 9%), while the MA267 Transformer has a loading of 62% and an end voltage of 212.7 V (ΔVMA267 = 8%). With the appropriate conditions, the transformer can function properly and the customer's electrical equipment can function normally.

Abstract

The increasing use of energy, in line with the development of the economy and industry, it is also necessary to realize the importanceof saving energy on the consumption side. Energy conservation is an increase in the efficiency of energy used or energy saving processes.This process includes an energy audit, which is a method for calculating the energy consumption level of a building or buildings, the resultsof which will be compared with existing standards to then look for solutions to save energy consumption if the energy consumption levelexceeds existing standards. The method used for research in this final project uses a walking audit by collecting data based on current,voltage, and power measurements. The data will be used to determine the analysis of the consumption of electrical energy used in the PT.Telkom Witel Unit Network and IS Operation Malang. Calculation of the IKE value (Energy Consumption Intensity) of the Malang City STObuilding for the results from the account data, the results are 479.14 kWh/m²/year. As for the IKE value from the measurement, the result is443.5 kWh/m²/Year 2, the value of the IKE is very inefficient from the standard compared to the ASEAN USAID standard in 1987, becausethe total power per year is not proportional to the existing building area. The lighting strength value after the recommendation is according tothe standard by replacing the lamp with a large lumen value, while in the cooling system the calculation of the BTUH requirement for eachroom is compared to the BTU AC (Air conditioner).

Abstract

PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Batu, The Selecta feeder is one of the 7 feeders in the distribution system that supplies several areas in PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Batu. In the Selecta feeder themselves, the number of error that occurred from January to November 2020 was fourteen times, with details of one time temporary error and thirteen times permanent errors. Delegating a portion of the load from feeders which got error can have an impact on feeders which are working normally. This can cause a voltage drop on the feeder for maneuvering purposes so that the distribution of electric power becomes less than optimal and requires some other loads to be temporarily transferred to other feeders. Based on the problems that occur, it is necessary to analyze the maneuver to reduce the impact of disruption on The Selecta feeder and maintain the reliability value of the distribution system at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Batu.

Abstract

This study discusses the installation of lighting electrical installations that are appropriate and safe for the community assisted by the Manpower Office in Malang City Government. The existence of this research is expected to provide additional skills in installing lighting installations, to be used in working to install lighting installations that are correct and safe and in accordance with standards, so as to minimize work hazards or accidents due to errors due to installation and use. This research activity was carried out in the AK Building of Malang State Polytechnic, Jalan Soekarno Hatta Malang by Malang State Polytechnic. The research activity for lighting electrical installations was carried out using a direct practice method. These activities are the introduction of standard electrical installation equipment according to PUIL; Introduction of lighting equipment components such as lamps, switches, contact boxes; and Installation of fittings, contact boxes, pipes, cables, switches. From the results of the research which was carried out for several days, the results obtained were knowing the practical theory of lighting installation; know the use of PPE properly; know the components of the lighting installation; know the electric measuring instruments; knowing how to install lighting installation components correctly and safely; know what things are done before the object is connected to a power source; and can take measurements when the object has been connected to a power source.

Abstract

Indeks keandalan Penyulang Kandangan pada kondisi awal berdasarkan hasil perhitungan SAIFI diperoleh nilai 11,73kali/tahun dan SAIDI diperoleh nilai 12,76 jam/tahun. Untuk menjaga kualitas sistem tenaga distribusi maka diperlukan suatu rekomendasi solusi untuk meningkatkan kontinuitas suplai energi listrik ke pelanggan di Penyulang Kandangan yaitu dengan menambah pengaman FCO (Fuse Cut Out) dan alternatif manuver jaringan. Sehingga area yang padam dan jumlah pemadaman pelanggan dapat diminimalisir serta meminimalkan nilai energi yang tidak tersalurkan ke pelanggan. Nilai keandalan sistem menurut standar SPLN 59:1985 sebesar SAIDI = 0,83 jam/plg/tahun dan SAIFI = 1,2 kali/plg/tahun. Sedangkan Penyulang Kandangan pada kondisi awal sebesar SAIDI = 12,76 jam/plg/tahun dan SAIFI = 11,73 kali/plg/tahun. Setelah dilakukan scenario rekomendasi solusi, didapatkan penurunan nilai keandalan yang lebih baik yaitu sebesar SAIDI = 6,36 jam/plg/tahun dan SAIFI = 7,63 jam/plg/tahun.

Abstract

The results of the voltage drop calculation from the MDP panel to the SDP under maximum load conditions (100% loading) show that the largest voltage drop occurs on the Hyundai Lift Power Panel by 0.51%, due to the distance of the conductor to the PP Lift Hyundai being the farthest and the cross-sectional area and the magnitude of the load current being larger than other panels. From the analysis of the comparison of manual voltage drop calculation results against Ecodial simulation, there is an error of 9.8%, while against ETAP simulation there is an error of 5.88%. Based on the results of voltage drop calculations and analysis with manual calculations and Ecodial and Etap simulations in civil buildings, the percentage of voltage drop results is in accordance with PUIL 2011 Chapter 2.2.3 and IEC 60364-5-52 Table G.52.1 standards so there is no need to make voltage drop repairs because electrical conditions on each floor of civil buildings are still in normal condition.
