Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the changes of students’ behavior in civic education learning by using class meeting model in order to become good and responsible citizens. This study is a classroom action research that conducted in four cycles with a class meeting model. This study results show that the changes in students’ behavior with class meeting model has been pursued through the planning, action, observation, reflection and revision. The research shows that there is an increasing of the students’ behavior changes at each cycle. Behavioral changes actions performed through increasing independent problem solving skills as well as groups of students as an experts team who able to provide an explanation, and students as a team member in a group get around to the other experts team to be able to informal discussion with an experts team so that each student is responsible for the task.Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji perubahan belajar siswa dalam pembelajaraan PKn dengan model pertemuan kelas agar menjadi warga negara yang baik dan bertanggungjawab. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitan tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 4 siklus dengan model pertemuan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perubahan perilaku belajar siswa dengan model pertemuan kelas telah ditempuh melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi dan revisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan perubahan perilaku belajar pada setiap siklus. Tindakan perubahan perilaku dilakukan dengan menumbuhkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah secara mandiri maupun kelompok  yaitu siswa sebagai tim ahli mampu memberikan penjelasan, dan siswa sebagai anggota tim secara berkelompok berkeliling ke tim ahli yang lain agar mampu berdiskusi bersama tim ahli, sehingga setiap siswa bertanggungjawab terhadap tugasnya.Kata kunci: desain pembelajaran, perilaku belajar, pertemuan kelas, perubahan perilaku belajar, pkn
