Abstract

ABSTRACT. This research aims to analyze the quality of test items made by mathematics teachers majoring in accounting in class X SMK Negeri 1 Manganitu Selatan in terms of validity, reliability, discrimination power, level of difficulty, and the  effectiveness of distractors. This type of research is a descriptive study. The subjects in this study were all students of 10th gradersof Accounting calss of SMK Negeri 1 Manganitu Selatan. Technique of data collection is done by documentation. The data obtained is processed manually using the Microsoft Excel 2013 program.  Results,  concluded that the quality of the items made by the teacher of mathematics majoring in accounting in class X SMK Negeri 1 Manganitu Selatan were: there are 10 or 40% of good quality questions, 7 or 28% of poor quality questions, and 8 or 32% of questions, not good quality. Questions that have good quality can be stored in the question bank to be used again, questions that have poor quality need to be revised and for questions that have poor quality, it should be discarded. Keywords: Item analysis, dicrimiation power, the effectiveness of distractors, reliability, level of difficulty, validity.

Abstract

 ABSTRACT. This research was determined whether the student learning outcomes used the Problem Posing learning model with Probing Prompting techniques on the sequence and series arithmetic leson more than the KKM set by SMK Negeri 1 Kakas whisch is 70. The research was categorized as quasi experimental research. The subjects in this research were students of class X in the TKJ Department. The results of data analysis, obtained an average of the student learning outcomes in the experimental class used the Probing Posing model with Probing Prompting technique was 79.9, with a maximum score of 90 and a minimum score of 66. So can be conclude that the average learning outcomes of the students who used the Probing Posing model with Probing Prompting techniques on the  sequence and series arithmetic leson more than the KKM set by the SMK Negeri 1 Kakas school which is 70. Key Words: Problem Posing, Probing Prompting, The Sequence and Series Arithmetic

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This research aims to describe the quality of teacher-made tests on mathematics. This quantitative descriptive research conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Airmadidi, where 100 answer sheets of mathematics test of 10th graders from 3 parallel classes were taken as the sample. Aspects analyzed including the item’s level of difficulty, validity, reliability, and discrimination index, as well as the effectiveness of distractors. Results found that out of 15 multiple choice items; there was 1 valid question, 14 were invalid, while all of the 5 essay questions were valid. The multiple-choice item's index of reliability of 0.27, which falls in a low category, while the essay questions have the reliability of 0.88, which is categorized as very high; 9 questions have easy in difficulty; 6 questions with moderate difficulty, while all of 5 essay questions were medium; 8 questions have good distractors, and 7 questions were ineffective; 13 questions have good discrimination power and 2 questions have poor discrimination. Two essay questions have a medium discrimination index and 3 questions have good; 5 essay questions were valid, reliable and have a moderate level of difficulty. So, it concluded that the mathematics test made by a teacher for 10th graders at X SMA Negeri 1 Airmadidi generally poor in its quality. Key Words: Quality of Test, Reliability, Validity

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The aim of this research is to know the differences in student learning outcomes on transformation lesson between group of students who used the thinking aloud pair problem solving (TAPPS), problem based learning (PBL) model and direct instruction model. This research was conducted at SMPN 1 Kawangkoan during the odd semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The subjects of this research were students of class IX-A as the 1st experimental class, class IX-B as the 2nd experimental class and class IX-C as the control class. The results of hypothesis test Shown that there were significant differences in the average learning outcomes between students who use the TAPPS, PBL, and direct instruction model on transformation lessons.Keywords: TAPPS, PBL, Direct Instruction

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This research was conducted to find out the types of errors and the causes of students mistakes in solving social arithmetic essay questions based on Newman's procedures. This research is categorized as a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Tondano in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The data in this research were sourced from the results of student work in solving social arithmetic story questions and interviews with students. Meanwhile, to analyze the data used the analysis of the side by Newman. Based on data analysis, it shows that students who make mistakes in turning problems into mathematical models (transformation error) with a presentation of 33%, students who make mistakes in writing the final answer (encoding error) with a percentage of 26%, students who make mistakes in process skills (process skill error) with a percentage of 23%, students who make mistakes at the stage of understanding the problem (comprehension error) with a percentage of 16% and students who make mistakes in reading questions (reading error) with a percentage of 2%. Key Words: Arithmetic Social, Students Mistakes

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This research was conducted to describe the students learning outcomes who were taught using the Blended Learning model and face to face methods on the relations and functions lesson. The research was conducted at SMP Frater Don Bosco in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The research subjects were students of class VIII A as an experimental class taught using the Blended Learning model and students of class VIII B as a control class taught using the face to face method. Data collection in this research used test and data analysis used t-test of differences mean of the two groups. The research result, shows that the average student learning outcomes taught using the Blended Learning model were higher than the average learning outcomes of students who are taught using face-to-face methods on the material relations and functions. Keywords: Blended Learning, Face to Face, Relationships and Functions

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti Pengaruh pembelajaran blended learning menggunakan media pembelajaran Edmodo terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Kristen 46 Mapanget Barat. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen semu (kuasi eksperimen) dapat mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran blended learning menggunakan media pembelajaran edmodo terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data post-test hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran blended learning menggunakan media pembelajaran edmodo terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII pada materi Teorema Phytagoras. Dibuktikan dengan hasil perhitungan thitung = 2,585 > ttabel = 1,672. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa skor rata-rata hasil belajar dengan model pembelajaran blended learning menggunakan media pembelajaran Edmodo lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran blended learning konvensional. Dengan adanya pembelajaran blended learning menggunakan media pembelajaran Edmodo ini melibatkan siswa untuk memecahkan masalah melalui tahap-tahap metode ilmiah sehingga siswa mampu mengembangkan keterampilan matematika baik dari segi kognitif dan afektif

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah pengembangan instrumen tes HOTS dan menghasilkan soal HOTS berbentuk uraian berdasarkan kriteria kualitas instrumen tes. Kriteria tersebut diantaranya validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya pembeda. Sehingga dapat di gunakan untuk mengukur HOTS siswa kelas IX SMP Kristen Tomohon dan SMP Frater Don Bosco Tomohon. Pokok bahasan Geometri. Metode penelitian ini adalah jenis pengembangan. Prosedur pengembangan instrumen yang digunakan yaitu pengembangan desain dan penelitian formative oleh Tessmer yang terdiri dari tahap: (1) preliminary, (2) self evaluation, (3) prototyping dan (4) field test. Instrumen yang digunakan penelitian instrumen tes . Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh pada tahap prototype dan field tes dihasilkan soal yang sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan yaitu valid dan reliabel serta tingkat kesukaran tes dan daya pembeda soal secara keseluruhan sudah baik. Soal dinyatakan valid dengan melihat nilai Va yang dihasilkan adalah 4,35 dengan kategori valid. Reliabilitas soal dinyatakan reliable berdasarkan analisis soal yang diperoleh adalah 0,61 dengan interpretasi yang tinggi. Pada analisis daya pembeda menghasilkan soal yang baik dengan jumlah butir tes soal uraian sebanyak 3 butir soal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalis kuliatas butir soal buatan guru PPG pada mata pelajaran matematika ditinjau dari validitas, reliabilitas, daya pembeda, tingkat kesukaran, dan efektifitas pengecoh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah tes soal buatan guru PPG mata pelajaran Matematika, dan objek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas VII-A dan VIII-A SMP Negeri 2 Tondano yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh bahwa jenis soal pilihan ganda materi bilangan bulat terdapat 30% soal yang berkualitas baik, 50% kurang baik dan 20% tidak baik, pada soal uraian terdapat 40% berkualitas baik, 60% kurang baik. Kemudian pada materi persamaan dan pertidaksamaan linear satu variabel soal pilihan ganda terdapat 45% soal yang berkualitas baik, 45% kurang baik dan 10% berkualitas tidak baik, untuk soal uraian terdapat 20% soal berkualitas baik, dan 80% berkualitas kurang baik. dan soal yang termaksud dalam kategori tidak baik dapat di revisi kembali atau tidak digunakan lagi dalam evaluasi materi tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi permasalahan yang ditemui dalam pembelajaran matematika di SMPN 2 Tondano, berupa hasil belajar siswa yang belum optimal dan kendala-kendala pelaksanaan pembelajaran di masa pandemic Covid-19.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran persamaan garis lurus dengan model pembelajaran Direct Instruction berbantuan Geo-Gebra via aplikasi zoom meeting. Rancangan yang digunakan pada kuasi-eksperimen ini yakni pretest-posttest-control-group design, dimana banyaknya siswa pada kelas eksperimen 22 orang dan pada kelas kontrol sebanyak 22 siswa. Hasil analisis uji-t menunjukkan bahwa t-hitung lebih dari t-tabel, sehingga disimpulkan pada taraf nyata 5 %, bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas dengan model pembelajaran langsung berbantuan GeoGebra via Aplikasi Zoom lebih dari rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran Direct Instruction.
