Abstract

Abstrak:Realitas eksistensi pesantren semakin nyata pentingnya manakala melihat perkembangan pesantren di Indonesia saat ini, khususnya pesantren di wilayah Jawa Timur sebagai representasi ‘induk semang’ lahirnya pondok pesantren di nusantara yang semakin pesat. Namun di tengah arus globalisasi yang begitu pesat ini, justru kondisi sebagian besar pesantren di Indonesia mengalami degradasi kualitas pembelajaran yang luar biasa, bahkan banyak yang ‘gulung tikar’. Dalam konteks itulah, upaya mengem­bangkan model manajemen mutu pembelajaran entrepreneurship berbasis sistem nilai di sejumlah pesantren di Indonesia, menjadi sangat urgen se­bagai upaya memunculkan prototipe ‘pesantren nusantara masa depan’ yang lebih kokoh akan tradisi keilmuan, dan kewirausahaan (entrepre­neurship) sekaligus yang ditopang oleh nilai-nilai keilmuan, profesionalitas dan kepesantrenan yang integratif, sehingga ke depan mampu menjadi pondok pesantren yang lebih kompetitif dalam percaturan dunia pendidikan global. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa: (1). Sistem nilai yang dikembangkan oleh Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri Pasuruan dalam mendukung manajemen entreprenuershipnya mencakup 3 komponen, yaitu profesio­nalitas, keilmuan dan kepesantrenan; (2). Tingkat mutu pembelajaran entrepreneurshipnya dapat dikatakan sangat baik, karena didukung oleh nilai pembelajaran yang rata-rata tinggi dan stabil di antara para santri entreprenuernya, termasuk omzet 1.25 trilyun yang telah dihasilkannya; dan (3) Aplikasi model manajemen mutu pembelajaran entreprenuershipnya telah sesuai dengan prinsip manajemen mutu yang berbijak khususnya pada 3 aspek utama, yaitu perencanaan mutu, pelaksanaan mutu dan evaluasi mutu pembelajaran entreprenuershipnya.Kata Kunci: Manajemen, Mutu, Pembelajaran, Entreprenuership

Dalam konteks itulah, upaya mengembangkan model manajemen mutu pembelajaran entrepreneurship berbasis sistem nilai di sejumlah pesantren di Indonesia, menjadi sangat urgen sebagai upaya memunculkan prototipe ‘pesantren nusantara masa depan’ yang lebih kokoh akan tradisi keilmuan, dan kewirausahaan (entrepreneurship) sekaligus yang ditopang oleh nilai-nilai keilmuan, profesionalitas dan kepesantrenan yang integratif, sehingga ke depan mampu menjadi pondok pesantren yang lebih kompetitif dalam percaturan dunia pendidikan global. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa: (1). Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the charismatic figure of kyai (Dr. KH Ahmad Musthofa Kamal) and his development strategy of visionary pesantren Bidayatul Hidayah Pasuruan East Java that has competitive value, both in national and international level. Therefore, this research is qualitative research in the form of field research by using interviews, observation, and documentation in data collection, and using interactive analysis models of Miles and Huberman in analyzing the findings which consist of data reduction, display data, and conclusion. The results of this research concluded: Dr. KH Ahmad Musthofa Kamal is a kyai who since his youth has had a high charisma value around the people in pesantren Bidayatul Hidayah Pasuruan which is characterized by the adherence and high commitment of them on him, including in the implementation of his pesantren education policy; And the strategy of developing visionary pesantren which undertaken by Dr.KH. Ahmad Musthofa Kamal at Pesantren Bidayatul Hidayah includes several things: (a). Improving the quality of education process at Pesantren Bidayatul Hidayah through developing the competence of educator with the scholarship inside and outside country, the provision of competence enrichment such as training of Islamic astronomy and pesantren curriculum, developing education facilities of special boarding’s (language, qiroah al-kutub, huffadz lil Qur'an, al-kutub at-turast), and developing visiting teacher program from Middle East-Europe. (b) Improving the quality of pesantren education outcomes in a number of programs, including strengthening the competence of graduates through entrepreneurship training, and community service, strengthening the network of pesantren graduates as well as strengthening cooperation network among pesantren and world Islamic organization.

Abstract

Along with the pace of globalization, and the severity of educational competitions, not a few actors of Islamic higher education tried to integrate two 'educational entities' (university and pesantren), in an integrated education curriculum system. Some were successful, but not a few was failed. This qualitative research article is based on interactive model data analysis technique that aims to 'initiate' the efforts of integrated curriculum development model of excellent higher pesantren at UII Yogyakarta, considering its good institutional achievement, so it should be the pilot project of the integration effort. This research concluded that the indigenous values in integrated curriculum development based on its excellent pesantren are to be oriented at the value of establishment of a 'progressive-inclusive-integrative' scholars candidate. The challenges of its integrated curriculum development include the alignment of synergical idea of university values and modern pesantren; institutionalization of university and pesantren policies; and integrating the curriculum products of university-based pesantren and community service. While, the strategies of its integrated curriculum development are implementing a top down and bottom up approach that involve all its stakehoders through a forum for feasibility of pesantren curriculum development that supported by phases that are determination of the pesantren curriculum enforcement area, development procedures; curriculum implementation; and evaluation results. However, it still needs strengthening ‘the outsider’s perspective’, especially from the users of its pesantren curriculum products in order to be able more adaptive to global needs as the idea of Beauchamp

Abstract

Along with the frequent social conflicts in Indonesia, the multicultural reality of this country is becoming increasingly urgent to be reconstructed so that it can become an "integrating force" for the future of this nation, especially through the education sector. In that context, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdlatul Ulama (MINU) Bangil Pasuruan, East Java, is a "lantern" for Indonesia's future multiculturalism that has implemented multicultural education management well. It involves various religious and ethnic cultural organizations, such as NU, Muhammadiyah, and others. Also, there are several ethnic groups like Javanese, Sundanese, Madurese, and Chinese. This qualitative research with a phenomenological approach-case study attempts to analyze the implementation of multicultural education management to develop conflict resolution learning at MINU Bangil Pasuruan. This research shows that the application of multicultural education management is running well with the main learning models based on visiting culture class learning. Meanwhile, the impact of multicultural education management includes 1) the life and interpersonal relationships of the entire academic community and the environment of educational institutions becoming more harmonious and inclusive, despite the ethnic plurality in the community; and 2) the learning process becomes more enjoyable and effective because it is supported by the growing sense of belonging and love between teachers and students.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the scientific view of the State Islamic University in Indonesia, namely, the concept of 'integration of science and religion'. The theory used is based on 'theology theory of evolution' of John F. Haught and theory of Islamic Science of Mehdi Golshani. State Islamic University such as UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Jakarta, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and other UIN, authorized open course, both of science humanities, social, technical and religious faculty. Referring to the Haught and Golshani‟s views, there are three approaches in the development of Islamic science in UIN; First, science aims to find the meaning of Allah (ontological); second, dismantle and re-test the findings of the medieval Islamic scientists (epistemological); Third, utilizing science to build a better civilization (axiological). Thus, UIN‟s existence in the future is largely determined by the success or failure of these institutions to develop the three areas of science Islam.

Abstract

This paper intends to explore the spirit of globalization in the madrassa. The analysis is done through the study of conceptual curriculum which is assumed to contain some elements of globalization such as democracy, autonomy, international markets, superiority and competitiveness. The development of quality of madrassa with global orientation develop four main competencies: 1) academic, 2) personal, 3) social and 4) spiritual competencies. They cover six elements, namely: (1) knowledge and cognition, (2) understanding and affection, (3) the ability to execute a task or job well, (4) value, that covers good behavior behavior that manifest themselves in a pupil, (5) the attitude , is a fast reaction to external stimuli, and (6) high interest in the positive range. To implement curriculum based on globalization management, madrasas can apply strategies such as: 1) self-management curriculum, creative and innovative spirit of autonomy and globalization; 2) master of science, personal formation, and mastery of social problem-solving skills; 3) master developmentally specific competency based learners.

Abstract

Developing peace education in society is the ‘main gateway’ of Indonesian civilization in the future to create tolerant, moderate and inclusive human beings. This study aims to identify challenges, strategies, and contribution to developing peace education for deradicalization in Pesantren al-Bidayah Pasuruan and Pesantren Miftahul Ula, Nganjuk, East Java which are famous as ‘humanist pesantrens’ with unique diversity of religious thoughts, cultures, and beliefs around them. This research is a qualitative research using interactive analysis model that consists of data reduction, data display and data verification. The conclusions of this study are: First, the challenges of peace education development at Pesantren al-Bidayah Pasuruan and Pesantren Miftahul Ula Nganjuk encompass several forms: the ideological challenge of religious social fundamentalism, religious political cannibalism, and exclusive religious education. Second, the strategies of implementing peace education development at the two pesantrens include: learning to understand cultural diversity, learning to understand religious plurality, and learning to understand social economic-based community. Third, the contribution of peace education development at the two pesantrens includes: contribution of building non-violence culture, developing cultural appreciation of human rights, and awakening democratic values   and tolerance around society.
