Abstract

Smartphones have become an inseparable object from the public, especially for students. However, the preferences of each student are different, and after using the product or the smartphone they choose, they will judge how well the smartphone is by comparing their expectations with the performance of the smartphone they are using. Campus life is a life of socializing between one student and another. With such a situation, there are not a few occasions where students exchange opinions and thoughts about things that are liked by one student to another, especially in this case, the matter of smartphones. This research aims to analyze the determinants that affect the Brand Evangelism within the students of FEB Unsrat, in this case are brand identification and brand satisfaction. This study uses quantitative methods with questionnaires used to collect data, this research uses Multiple Linear Regression as the tool of analysis. The sample of this research are 100 active students of FEB Unsrat. The findings revealed that both brand identification and brand satisfaction have positive relationship and significant influence toward brand evangelism. From the results, it is recommended to smartphone companies need to focus on how the company can make bonds with their consumer. Also, the marketeers of each companies need to listen to consumer on how they feel about the brand itself, so that the consumer will be satisfied with the products. Keywords: brand identification, brand satisfaction, brand evangelism

Abstract

Positioning is a fundamental component of marketing planning and business strategies making. Product positioning is the process marketers use to determine how to best communicate their products attributes to their target customers based on customer needs, competitive pressures, available communication channels and carefully crafted key messages. Indonesia population growth rate is at one percent by 2013 est. Nutritional scientists and pediatricians recommend that infants should consume milk or formula. Infant formula is the substitute product to breastfeeding, and in the market industry of infant formulas there are many brands competing in the industry. The purpose of this research are to determine and show the brand positioning of each brand of infant formulas that exist in the market in Manado by using perceptual mapping which contain multidimensional scaling and correspondence analysis method with 100 respondents as sample of the research. SGM, Lactogen, Nutrilon, Enfagrow, S26 and Nan are the infant formulas brands that are studied. Price and Quality are the attributes used in studying infant formula brand in this research. Based on Perceptual Mapping, demographics of age and occupation correlate with customer perception of the brands. Different age and different occupation may perceive different preferences and perception on the infant formula brands / products. Keywords: consumer perception, perceived price, perceived quality.

Abstract

In order to create a smooth and can produce good work motivation, it is necessary to increase job satisfaction for employees. The success of the company is required to perform optimally in a positive attitude towards work, which in turn can generate a good motivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of job satisfaction on work motivation. Where researchers study took place at the Daily Executive Office of the Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN) North Minahasa Regency, with 9 employees as informants and using purposive sampling method. The method used to analyze the research is qualitative method. The results showed employee satisfaction has a significant influence on employee motivation either simultaneously or partially. Daily Executive Office Manager BNN North Minahasa Regency expected more attention to what might motivate employees so that they are satisfied on the job. If employees can be satisfied that they are motivated to perform the job well. Keywords: job satisfaction, work motivation, performance, organization

Abstract

Abstract: Consumer complaints are classified as grievances and dissatisfaction experienced by consumers when purchasing or using certain products or services. The thing is if a customer is not satisfied with a purchase or a service they paid for and thus, customer can complain. The aim of this research is to know how is the consumer complaint behavior at pizza hut in Manado and what are the factors that make consumer complaint at Pizza Hut in Manado. To achieve these objectives the researcher got information from 10 informants using qualitative study which is in-depth interview. Through the interview from all the informants the result concluded that customers will make a complaint when customers do not feel comfortable, the foods do not suit with their taste or expectation and experiencing poor services from Pizza Hut. Some recommendations proposed for customer, it is good to know about the customer complaint because they need to understand what factors that makes them complaint. For Pizza Hut, this research may be useful in order to decrease the level of complaints and to improve Pizza Hut’s performances. For the future researchers, this research hopefully will help in doing their research using the findings regarding with the topic. Keywords: consumer complaint, pizza hut

Abstract

Employee Performances are become important thing these days. Employee performance is assessed in terms of quality and quantity based on labor standards specified by the organization. Good performance is the optimal performance such as the appropriate performance standards of an organization and support achievement of organizational goals. There are many factors which give effect and influence in creating such a high employee performance. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of Leadership Style, Motivation and Work Discipline towards employee performance developed in Qualitative Method. This research used Qualitative Method , Descriptive Analysis to give a detail explanation about employee performance of Waroeng Charity based on the leadership style, motivation and work discipline as the factors which giving a influence to create a high or low employee performances. To ensure the accuracy of the analysis, this research uses in-depth interview until we get the saturation. The result of this research discovered that three factors are the main consideration for both employee and leader. The leadership style isn’t suit enough with the employees, while the motivation & work discipline of the employee is really low. This means Waroeng Charity should reconsider to change the leadership style and focus improving the motivation and discipline by creating training and development. Abstract

Small and medium micro businesses are currently increasing very rapidly, flown with modernity today which is better at opening up insights and knowledge about the younger generation so many prefer to run their own businesses to become employees, with the help of consequences and hunting that enhances micro business small and medium enterprises continue to grow rapidly. To find out how to retain customer retention and what are the components that build the customer’s emotional experience in local coffee shop. This research used descriptive analysis, in which the method is to explain about the opinions of customers who prefer to enjoy the products offered  in micro and small businesses based on their emotion and how according to their retention about the service and product. This study obtained conclusion, from  the results of research on people who make purchases on the local coffee shop. Based on the service they have received before and also the products they have obtained from the place of business, while for new customers, they use references from people they trust. Keywords: customer retention, customer emotion, emotional experience

Abstract

In IDX (Indonesian Stock Exchange) there are some stock listed. The listed company in IDX means that the company is published their prospectus and fund fact share to public, or it called Go Public Company. The purpose of the research is to analyze the significant financial performance before and after IPO. These are as variables on this research. The type of analysis used is dependent Normality Test and paired sample T-Test which enables the researcher to compare the financial performance before and after IPO. The finding there is significant difference between before and after IPO on five listed companies in IDX, it is calculated by T-Count and T-Table. The T-Count ROA is 3.116 is bigger than T-Table, T-Count ROE is 2.648 is bigger than T-Table, T-Count Profit Margin is 2.182 is bigger than T-Table, means that the different is significant between before and after IPO. The company better to maintain and to improve its financial performance due to management's decision to go public is the first step to give the company's financial progress. Abstract

Abstract: In the business of multilevel marketing (MLM), the role of distributor is necessary for the effectiveness of business activities. Therefore, the performance of the distributor becomes an important thing. Distributors must have a strong passion in running a business, get support from the company, and organizational learning that can support distributor skills. This study aims to analyze the influence of distributor characteristics, corporate support, and learning organization to improve distributor performance at Distributor of PT. Mahakarya Sejahtera Indonesia Manado. This study uses Quantitative research method by using multiple regression analysis with the number of samples taken in this study as many as 60 respondents as a member of PT. Mahakarya Sejahtera Indonesia Manado Distributor under Meilany Deisy Rengkung, SE. The results showed that the distributor characteristics, corporate support, and learning organization influenced the performance distributors. Distributor characteristics affect the distributor performance. Corporate support has no effect on distributor performance. Learning organization affects the performance distributors. Future research will be better if the population is taken from several groups because it does not rule out the possibility of each group having different habits in its role as a distributor.Keywords: distributor characteristics, corporate support, learning organization, distributor performance.

Abstract

Perubahan dan perkembangan teknologi informasi pada saat ini menyebabkan persaingan dalam dunia bisnis transportasi semakin ketat, khususnya sepeda motor matic. Ada banyak pemain di industri ini, tetapi hanya dua dari mereka sebagai pemain besar dengan pangsa pasar yang signifikan. Honda Beat dan Yamaha Mio adalah dua merek yang mendominasi industri motor matic. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan diferensiasi produk dan citra merek pada motor matic Honda Beat dan Yamaha Mio. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan sebanyak 50 responden Honda Beat, dan 50 responden Yamaha Mio. Metode penelitian yang digunakan analisis komparatif. Analisis data menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, serta uji hipotesis Independent Samples T Test. Hasil analisa menggunakan Independent Samples T Test ditemukan bahwa diferensiasi produk dan citra merek motor matic Yamaha Mio lebih baik dari Honda Beat. Sebaiknya manajemen Yamaha harus terus mempertahankan tingkat permintaan dalam persaingan yang semakin ketat, dan Honda lebih meningkatkan dari sisi desain motor dan strategi pemasaran. Kata kunci: diferensiasi produk, citra merek, persaingan

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analyzing the employee empowerment in Main Branch of PT. Bank SulutGo Manado. This research type is descriptive with quantitative method, using Importance and Performance Analysis as analytical tool. The sample size of this research is 84 employees as respondents. Purposive sampling was used to collecting data through questionnaire. The result shows that Assistance/help by managers when face barriers in work, Encourage and motivation in work, Clear direction in completing the job, and Evaluation given by manager these attribute are located in Quadrant II. Facilities provided by Bank SulutGo in supporting the work and Supervision and control for purpose to reach the target in work are placed in Quadrant I. Meanwhile, Freedom in organizing their respective jobs are placed in low priority which is Quadrant III. And for the last there are Autonomy (freedom) in completing the work by employees’ own way and Freedom in giving opinion are placed in Quadrant IV. Main Branch of Bank SulutGo Manado should put more attention to Facilities provided by Bank SulutGo in supporting the work and Supervision and control for purpose to reach the target in work because the employees considered these attributes is important. ­­Keywords: employee empowerment, importance and performance analysis
