Abstract

Abstrak: Bahasa Inggris kepada anak seharusnya dikenalkan sejak usia dini, karena anak usia dini masih merupakan masa-masa dasar pertama untuk mereka mengembangkan salah satu kemampuan bahasa, khususnya dalam berkosa kata bahasa Inggris. Tetapi permasalahan yang sering terjadi di lingkungan, bahasa Inggris jarang diajarkan untuk melatih keterampilan berbahasa mereka. Namun di TK Mawar Bolaang Mongondow Selatan, tidak hanya dikenalkan melalui pengenalan kosa kata, Sekolah ini menggunakan kartu bergambar pada kegiatan bercakap-cakap untuk mengembagkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris anak. Metode penelitianyang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengamatan peneliti terhadap kemampuan bahasa inggris anak secara lisan melalui kegiatan bercakap-cakap dengan kartu bergambar yang diterapkan oleh guru yaitu sebanyak 80% dari kemampuan bahasa Inggris dasar AUD umumnya . Kata Kunci: Kartu Gambar, Bercakap-cakap, Bahasa Inggris AUD Abstract:English for children should be introduced from an early age, because early childhood is the first basic period for them to develop one of the language skills, especially English vocabulary. But the problems often occur in the environment is English rarely taught to practice their language skills. However, in Mawar kinderharten in Bolaang Mongondow Selatan. They not only use but also uses picture cards in conversation activities to develop children's English skills. The research method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative, the data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that observations of children's English skills trough conversation activities with flash card that applied by the teacher is 80% of basic English skills in general. Abstract

Buku teks pelajaran adalah salah satu media penunjang dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar didalam kelas. Buku yang digunakan pun harus memiliki kriteria yang tepat untu menjadi kan Bahan ajar. Bahan ajar juga harus dibuat sesuai dengan syarat-syarat pembuatannya. Mendiknas (2008: 6) menjelaskan bahwa “bahan ajar merupakan bahan pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk membantu siswa belajar. Jika dilihat dengan kenyataan di lapangan buku ajar yang digunakan tidak mudah dipahami oleh siswa, bahasanya terlalu komplex. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif jenit metodenya adalah kajian pustaka. Data kualititatif diperoleh berdasarkan hasil pra observasi, wawancara, dan angket.  Butir kelengkapan materi memiliki skor total 12 dari skor maksimal 20 sehingga mendapatkan persentase nilai 55% dengan status cukup. Butir keluasan materi memiliki skor total 12 dari 20 sehingga mendapatkan persentase nilai 55% dengan status kurang luas Pada Butir  tema memiliki skor total 20 dari skor maksimal 20 sehingga mendapatkan persentase nilai 100% dengan status sangat sesuai . Berdasarkan simpulan pada penelitian ini, peneliti mengajukan  Pertama, guru hendaknya memilih buku aacuan yang bagus dan memiliki Bahasa yang ringan untuk digunakan guna mendukung pembelajaran. Kedua, guru sebaiknya memilih buku ajar yang ringan dari segi Bahasa dan mampu menyampaikan dengan metode yang tepat agar siswa mudah menyerap dengan baik sesuai capaian kompetensi yang diinginkan. The textbook is one of the supporting media in teaching and learning activities in the classroom. The books used has the right criteria to become teaching materials. Teaching materials must be made in accordance with the conditions of manufacture. The Minister of National Education (2008: 6) explains that “teaching materials are learning materials used to help students learn. If we look at the reality in the field, the textbooks used are not easily to understood by students, the language is too complex. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The method is literature review. Qualitative data were obtained based on the results of pre-observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The item completeness of the material has a total score of 12 out of a maximum score of 20 so that it gets a 55% score percentage with sufficient status. The item breadth of material has a total score of 12 out of 20 so that it gets a percentage score of 55% with the status of being less extensive. Based on the conclusions in this study, the researcher proposes first, the teacher should choose a good reference book and have a light language to use to support learning. Second, teachers should choose textbooks that are light in terms of language and are able to convey in the right method so that students easily absorb well according to the desired competency achievement.

Abstract

The study discusses the effect that technology can have on a student's reading behavior. Where students now a day spend a lot of time with cell phones. Rapid advances in telecommunications technology, media and information technologies and the widespread development of global information infrastructure transform learning and reading patterns into global paradigms. It was this paradigm that became dominant and effectively became involved in the revolution of information networks, which would later determine the future of national welfare. Technology, however, remains the initial hypothesis before research is carried out. In this method is use qualitative method. Study using qualitative method provided a comprehensive and clear picture of the social situations studied, comparative events from one social to another or from one time to another; or be able to find patterns of connections between certain aspects and others, and be able to find hypotheses and theories. In a study that described the work done by 12 respondents. Based on Moleong, the aim of the writer is to examine how the student's behavior, habits, and perceptions of how technology affects reading habits for them. The purpose of this study is to know whether technology has a major impact on student reading behavior. The results of this study indicate that technology had a positive impact on the interest in reading students, but most students prefer reading nonfiction rather than reading lessons. And technology can has a negative impact on the student as student interest is distracted and they are sedated with the modern technological sophistication of gadgets.

Abstract

Background: Increasing motivation to learn English requires the right method that suits the needs of students. One such method is to use the Two Stay Two Stray type. Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of using the Two Stay Two Stray method on student motivation in learning English in class XI IPA.1 MAN 1 Gorontalo. Method: The methodology used in this study is a quantitative research method with a One-Shot Case Study research design which is part of the Pre-Experimental Design. The researchers used a questionnaire-type instrument with Likert scale scores: Strongly (5), Agree (4), Hesitated (3), Disagree (2), and, Strongly disagree (1). Data collection techniques used in this study were using a learning motivation questionnaire and the Two Stay Two Stray questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is an automatic calculation using IBM SPSS Statistics 25. Results and Discussion: The results showed that there was a significant influence of the use of the Two Stay Two Stray method on learning motivation in learning English. Learning motivation in this study is known through observations after learning English through learning by using the two stays two stray methods has increased seen from the student learning motivation questionnaire with high criteria that is 63%. There are 17 students who have achieved success indicators. Using the two stays two stray methods can change and increase student motivation which was originally still low, can change or increase to high. Conclusion and Implications: This research has implications for efforts to improve teaching methods for teachers that are applying the Two Stay Two Stray method should be carried out regularly, directed, and structured properly and correctly so that students' learning motivation in learning English is more active, enthusiastic and obtains good learning mastery maximum. Researchers highly recommend the Two Stay Two Stray methods used in learning English. Not only in learning English but also in learning other subjects because this learning method is suitable for all subjects.
