Abstract

This study aims to design, test the feasibility and measure the response of students of physics teaching aids based on Arduino Nano sensors on Regularly Changing Straight Motion (GLBB) material. This study uses the method of research and development (Research and Development). The subjects of this study consisted of four validators and 16 students. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive analysis. The results of the feasibility test of the props product obtained a mean score of 3.54 with very good criteria. The results of the students' responses to the teaching aids obtained a mean score of 2.91 with agreed criteria.

Abstract

AbstractThis article aims to understand the simple physics concept of torque in FISMIS (Physics Mysteries) method. The method can inspire the innovative learning physics and one of the alternatives in answering the concept of physics, especially in torque material. The experiments of torque were conducted by using the media such pens and ring necklaces which were given treatments such encouragement, pressure, and deviation. From the pre-test result of 10 items and ten items about the concept of counting were known to have 20% of the 200 SMAN 1 Balikpapan students in class XI were able to understand the answer about the concept of torque and 80% of students were able to answer counting problems correctly. However, after being given Pgasing with FISMIS method problem solving of torque, the post-test result there were 95% of students who can understand the concepts and solve it correctly.As for the concept of counting with I2T shows pupils more rigorous in calculating quickly without leaving the concept. AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan untuk memahami konsep fisika tentang torsi secara sederhana dengan metode FISMIS (Fisika Misteri). Metode tersebut bisa menjadi inspirasi pembelajaran fisika yang inovatif dan salah satu alternatif dalam menjawab konsep fisika khususnya pada materi torsi. Eksperimen tentang torsi dilakukan menggunakan media bolpoint dan kalung ring dengan diberi perlakuan berupa dorongan, tekanan serta simpangan. Dari hasil pre test 10 butir soal konsep dan 10 soal menghitung diketahui ada 20 % dari 200 siswa kelas XI di SMAN 1 Balikpapan yang  mampu memahami dalam menjawab soal konsep torsi dan80 % siswa mampu menjawab soal menghitung dengan benar. Tetapi setelah diberi PGasing dengan metode FISMIS problem solving tentang torsi, hasil post tes 95 % siswa mampu memahami konsep dan mampu menjawab secara benar. Sedangkan untuk konsep menghitung dengan I T menunjukan siswa semakin teliti dalam menghitung secara cepat tanpa meninggalkan konsep.

Abstract

This article discusses structural analysis in Laksanamekar Village, Bandung. The sample is in the form of andesite D and A *. Sample size (1 x 1) cm, with thickness (x) 0.4 cm. Sample D comes from the mountains of Laksanamekar Village Bandung at depths (15-20) m and samples (A *) from the Code River Yogyakarta. The results showed that the sample was a type of dry andesite rock and had layers in the grain. Andesite D has a denser composition, higher iron content and smoother surface texture than A*. The XRD results are known to be phase-identified andesite A * Sodium aluminum Silicate with a composition of 46.5% and andesite D phase of Titanium Calcium Sodium Magnesium Iron Manganese Silicon Aluminum Oxide of 10% so that andesite rocks have higher quality than A * samples.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk rancang bangun alat modifikasi magnetlevitation menjadi magnet dipole untuk menentukan besarnya gaya Coulomb dankuat medan magnet pada praktikum Fisika Dasar II. Metode yang digunakanadalah eksperimen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Telahdihasilkan sebuah alat praktikum magnet dipole dengan memanfaatkan gayatolak menolak antara 2 kutub magnet yang sama. Diperoleh hasil untuk magnetdipole dengan ring berdiameter 8 mm pada jarak r = 0,003 m besarnya gayaCoulomb dan kuat medan magnet terbesar adalah 25,6 x 10-24 N dan 16 x10-5N/C. Dan untuk magnet dipole dengan ring berdiameter 21 mm dan pada r =0,008 m besarnya gaya Coulomb dan kuat medan magnet terbesar adalah 3,6x10-2 N dan 2,2 x10-4 N/C. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa gaya Coulombberbanding terbalik dengan kuadrat jaraknya. Semakin kecil jarak magnet dipole,semakin besar gaya Coulomb dan kuat medan. Interprestasi grafik berbentukparabola.

Abstract

Peran penting Indonesia dalam menghadapi pasar global terus meningkat. Indonesia merupakan konsumen energi terbesar di Asia Tenggara yaitu 36 %. Pertumbuhan ekonomi yang semakin pesat mendorong peningkatan kebutuhan akan listrik. Antara tahun 2000 2015 kebutuhan listrik di Indonesia meningkat 150 %. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya inovasi alat penghemat listrik yang dapat meningkatan efisiensi energi listrik rumah. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen. Pengambilan data dengan melibatkan peralatan listrik rumah. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Diperoleh hasil sebuah alat ELCO dengan memanfaatkan rangkaian RLC. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli 32,1 % menyatakan sangat baik, 64,3 % menyatakan baik, dan 3,6 % menyatakan cukup. Alat ini mampu menghasilkan daya output 2-3 kali lebih besar dari daya input.Kata kunci: Daya listrik, rangkaian RLC, electrical Control

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berkaitan dengan pelatihan Mendeley bagi Guru di SMP Tahfidzqu Deresan Yogyakarta. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan oleh Prodi Pendidikan IPA dan Pendidikan Fisika FKIP Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa dengan tujuan untuk: membantu kesulitan guru dalam menyusun menulis karya tulis dengan menggunakan Mendeley Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Tahfidzqu Deresan Yogyakarta pada bulan November 2017. Pelaksanaan pelatihan mendeley berupa kegiatan workshop, diskusi dan praktik. Hasil pengabdian ini berupa produk yaitu rancangan proposal karya tulis guru This community service activity was related to Mendeley's training for Teachers at Yogyakarta's Tahfidzqu Deresan Middle School. This service was carried out by the Science Education and Physics Education Study Program FKIP Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University with the aim of helping teachers difficulties in composing writing papers using Mendeley This service was held in Yogyakarta Tahfidzqu Deresan Middle School in November 2017. The training was in the form of workshops, discussions, and practice. The results of this service are in the form of products, namely the design of the teacher's written proposal

Abstract

Bencana alam memiliki dampak yang besar bagi kehidupan manusia. Peserta didik merupakan bagian dari masyarakat yang turut menjadi korban saat terjadi bencana. Oleh karena itu, peserta didik perlu dibekali dengan konsep terjadinya gempa bumi, dampak gempa bumi, langkah penyelamatan serta cara pertolongan pertama pada korban. Kegiatan pengabdian berupa simulasi mitigasi bencana gempa bumi bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan yang harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik bila gempa bumi terjadi. SMP Tahfidzqu & SMA Sahabatqu Yogyakarta dipilih sebagai tempat simulasi karena sekolah ini memiliki resiko terhadap gempa bumi dan juga relatif dekat dengan gunung Merapi. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan saat praktek yaitu melindungi kepala, pelatihan menggunakan kotak P3K dan tandu. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian mitigasi bencana gempa bumi adalah peserta didik mendapatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan dalam melakukan langkah penyelamatan jika terjadi bencana gempa bumi. Hal ini akan meningkatkan kesadaran serta tanggap terhadap bencana alam terutama gempa bumi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality and response of students to E-LKPD Physics. based on problem-based learning on static electricity material, developed to assist students in learning during the covid-19 pandemic for education which is required to learn online. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development) according to Sugiyono which is simplified into eight stages which include potential and problems, gathering product design information, product validation, product revision, product testing, product revision, and final product. The subjects of this study consisted of three validators and 16 students. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive analysis. The results of the feasibility test of the E-LKPD product obtained criteria for Very Good (68.11%), Good (29.71%), Less Good (2.18 % ), Very Poor ( 0% ) by the validator, and very good (100%) by student responses. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the E-LKPD is suitable for learning physics.

Abstract

The development of the industrial world in the current porous era, which continues to develop in various fields, certainly makes human life easier and full of challenges. In line with the rapid industrial progress, the need for electricity as an energy source is increasing. One of the household electricity needs is the use of an inverter which functions to convert 12 Volt DC voltage into 220 Volt 50 Hz AC voltage. This inverter functions as a backup electricity provider for both vehicles and household needs, as emergency power when the household electricity goes out. In this study, a Simple Inverter (IS) device will be made using IC 555 as a voltage generator needed in Electronics I learning, in which students learn about concepts and their applications. The purpose of this research is the design of IS teaching aids used to increase the voltage in the physics learning of Electronics I by determining the input power and output power. This type of research is development using a 4-D development model. The results of the IS tool test with product feasibility tests from 2 media experts and material experts with an average score of 4.64 or 94.2% and responses from 4 students with an average score of 4.73 or 95.8% so that it is included in the very good category. The average measured input power (63.0 ± 0.5) Wh and the resulting output power IS Innovation (2191 ± 0.5) Wh which means IS works at a Power Gain of 34.8 on a 5 Ah 12 V motor ACCU, with The power capacity used per 60 W is around 15.5 minutes and for ACCU 60 Ah 12 Volt it is around 3.1 hours

Abstract

This study aimed to produce and determine the feasibility and response of Physics Props Based on the Phypox Application with a Free Fall Motion Material Smartphone Acoustic Sensor. This type of research is research and development according to Sugiyono, (2017) which is simplified into eight stages which include potential and problems, information collection, product design, product validation, product revision, product trials, product revision, and the final product. The subjects of this study consisted of 3 validators and 15 learners. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive analysis according to Setyo Budiwanto, (2017: 18) which used a Likert scale to determine the response criteria. The results of this study were obtained including: (1) Phypox Application-Based Physics Props with Smartphone Acoustic Sensors on Free Fall motion materials therewith the manual book; (2) The feasibility test of props with a media expert assessment of 25% is very good, 67% is good, and 8% is bad, the material expert assessment is 33% very good and 67% good, and the teacher's assessment is 57% very good, 33% good, and 10% bad (3) The readability test of the learners' response to the props obtained 21% strongly agree, 72% agree, 7% disagree, and 1% strongly disagree. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the props developed are suitable for learning physics.
