Abstract

Cell phones have become one of the requirements for the wider community. Today all people in the world can be connected by a modern communication tool that is supported by the development of sophisticated media and modern communication. One of the media such as the mobile phone is now better known as "smart phones". The rise of smart phone usage among teens sparked a wide range of issues related to individual behavior and social behavior of adolescents themselves. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive type. The technique of collecting data was taken with a total sampling was 28 people. The data collection techniques used was observation, interviews and focus group discussion. Data were analyzed through several stages: among other subjects through testing credibility, authenticity, triangulation analysis, and intersubjectivity analysis. From the research that has been conducted showed that the use of smart phones in adolescents can meet their needs. Fulfillment of requirements obtained from the use of smart phones in the range of cognitive needs, affective needs, personal integrative needs and requirements as well as the social integrative needs to release tension. Fulfillment of various needs in the above cause a variety of effects, both positive and negative.

Abstract

Instagram is one of the most popular social media for the public. One difference between Instagram and other social media, is that instamam is more likely to be used to find information and share information with users than to interact directly with fellow users. The purpose of this study is to find out and explain the motives and active user satisfaction in using Instagram social media and find out the relationship between the motives and satisfaction of Instagram social media usage. This study uses use and gratification theory which assumes that individuals have certain goals in using media. The method used in this research is quantitative research methods. The data collection tool is the questionnaire has been validated. The research sample was 70 people. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. The statistic test that the researchers used was the Partial Correlation Test (Pearson Product Moment). Data is processed using SPSS version 20. The results of this study indicate users want to get information and knowledge that is happening at the present time. Information satisfaction becomes the most obtained by Instagram social media users. Overall Instagram social media has given satisfaction to users and there is a significant relationship between motives and satisfaction.

Abstract

“Dakwah Islam” is essentially a pious that actualization in a system of human activity in the lives of believers who conducted regularly to influence how to feel, think, act, and act. “Dakwah Islam”means all efforts to realize the true teachings of Islam in daily life. AIDS is one disease that affects many, and is transmitted by the perpetrators of atrocities in the midst of society. When the HIV virus has infected a person, means he is ready also to spread the seeds of this disaster to others.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: The prevalence of Diabetes Mellitus in Pontianak City in 2016 amounts to 999 people. 78% of whom have complications of Diabetic Injury. One factor of increasing prevalence is due to uncontrolled food factors. The majority of the people of Pontianak like sweet foods and fast food. Objective: To know the description of knowledges of Community about food diet in patients with Diabetes Mellitus in Pontiaak City. Method: Descriptive quantitative by displaying in percentage form and table. The number of respondents in this study were 50 patients with Diabetes Mellitus. The sampling technique used total sampling. Results: The average age of respondents is about 67.6 years or about 70%. Meanwhile 30% are on average 65.4 years. The highest number of DM sufferers is male by 59% and the rest are women. Most DM sufferers work as private employees 40%, 30% civil servants, merchants 20%, and others 10%. Based on education DM sufferers most is the high school of 51%, Bachelor 30%, junior high 29%, not school 20%. And 89.87% Community of Knowledges in  DM patients at the low category, 11.8% moderate, and the rest was  high knowledge. Conclusion: Based on the results it has been found that patients with Diabates Mellitus do not know about Diet patterns in patients with Diabtetes Melltus in Pontianak City. Keywords: Food Diet pattern; Diabetes mellitus; Knowledges of Community    ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Prevalensi penderita Diabetes Mellitus di Kota Pontianak pada tahun 2016 berjumlah 999 orang. 78% diantaranya mengalami komplikasi Luka Kaki Diabetik. Salah satu faktor meningkatnya prevalensi tersebut adalah dikarenakan faktor makanan yang tidak terkendali. Mayoritas masyarakat Kota Pontianak menyukai makanan manis dan masakan cepat saji.  Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan masyarakat tentang diet makanan pada pasien dengan Diabetes Mellitus di Kota Pontianak. Metode : Deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menampilkan dalam bentuk persentase dan tabel. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 50 pasien dengan Diabetes Mellitus. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Hasil : Rata-rata usia responden sekitar 67,6 tahun atau sekitar 70%. Sementara itu 30% berusia rata-rata 65,4 tahun. Jumlah penderita DM paling banyak adalah laki-laki sebesar 59% dan sisanya adalah perempuan. Paling banyak penderita Dm bekerja sebagai pegawai swasta 40%, PNS 30%, pedagang 20%, dan lain-lain 10%. Berdasarkan pendidikan penderita Dm paling banyak adalah taman SMA sebesar 51%, Sarjana 30%, SMP 29%, tidak sekolah 20%. Dan 89.87%  pengetahuan penderita DM dalam kategori rendah, 11.8 % sedang, dan sisanya tingat pengetahuan tinggi. Kesimpulan: berdasarkan hasil yang telah didapat bahwa pasien dengan Diabates Mellitus tidak mengetahui tentang pola Diet makanan pada pasien dengan Diabtetes Melltus di Kota Pontianak. Abstract

One of the few supermakets in Palu city which considerably crowded is Grand Hero Supermarket. This Supermarket was located on the Basuki Rahmat street. Because this road is an arterial road with highly traffic volume at certain hours, so the Grand Hero Supermarket activity will affect the performance of the road. At peak hours, many vehicles are in and out from the supermaket, disrupting theperformance of BasukiRahmat road. The aim of this research is to understand the existing condition of the Basuki Rahmat street performance with or without the activity of Grand Hero Supermaket. This research was conducted by surveying the volume of the street, side friction and travel time. The survey was carried on Wednesday 04-06-2015 and Saturday 6-06 2015. The analysis was conducted by using Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997 method. The results show that the performance of JalanBasuki Rahmat with no Grand Hero Supermarket’s activity has a degree of saturation 0.35. Grand Hero Supermarket with activity would increase the degree of saturation that is 0.43 that increases 22.86%. The speed of light vehicles by MKJI is  42.84 km / h. With the Grand Hero Supermarket activity, the speed of light vehicle decreased from 27.76 km/ h to 23.74 km / h or there are speed reductions of 14.49%. The level of service with the Grand Hero Supermarket activity was at B condition with DS rate of 0,43

Abstract

 Abstract. Computer Store business is one growing business in the Tembilahan, so competition in this business increases rapidly. Most decision makers make mistakes in finding a strategic location for business due to the lack and limitation of analysis in survey data. Therefore it is necessary to make a Decision Support System (DSS) to assist the survey data processing. The application of the method Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) in developing Decision Support System (DSS) to determine the Computer Store business development set by using 4 (four) criteria, such as population, competitors, population backgrounds, and investment value. The final results of the DSS process using AHP is a ranking of several alternative locations in the set, and alternative locations that have the highest global weight is recommended for the development of Computer Store business.Keywords: Analytical Hierarchy Process, Business Computer Store, Decision Support Systems. Abstrak. Usaha toko komputer merupakan salah satu usaha yang sedang berkembang di Tembilahan, sehingga persaingan di bidang usaha ini dapat dikatakan meningkat pesat. Untuk mendapatkan lokasi yang strategis, kebanyakan para pengambil keputusan salah dalam memilih, ini dikarenakan kurangnya analisa terhadap data hasil survey lokasi dan keterbatasan pengambil keputusan dalam menganalisa data hasil survey. Untuk itu perlu dibuat sebuah Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) untuk membantu dalam mengolah data hasil survey. Penerapan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) dalam pembangunan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) penentuan pengembangan usaha toko komputer ditetapkan menggunakan 4 (kriteria) kriteria diantaranya jumlah penduduk, kompetitor, latar belakang penduduk, dan nilai investasi. Hasil akhir dari proses SPK menggunakan metode AHP ini berupa peringkat dari beberapa alternatif lokasi yang di tetapkan, dan alternatif lokasi yang mendapatkan bobot global paling tinggi yang menjadi rekomendasi untuk pengembangan usaha toko komputer.Kata Kunci: Analytical Hierarchy Proses, Sistem Pendukung Keputusan, Usaha Toko komputer.

Abstract

                                            ABSTRACT This research was conducted on September 6, 2018. The analysis used data obtained at the Fisheries and Fish Landing Base (PPI) Tiku Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province.Aimed to study to find out the optimum fishing efforts for pelagic fish in Tanjung Mutiara waters and knowing the environmental effect on catch of gillnet and to know the environmental variable that have biggest effect. Data collection uses survey methods. The results of this study indicate the maximum production amount in Tanjung Mutiara 6923,397tons/year with optimum fishing effort 16,048 trips/year. The results of measurements on Environmental parameters during the research, obtained a current velocity between 0.1-0.2 m / s, water’s temperatures between 280C - 300C, water’s pH between 7-8, water’s transparency between 28 cm - 34 cm and water’s salinity 300/00-330/00. From the results of the multiple regression analysis, the Determination Coefficient (r2) of 0.335, which means 33.5% of the catch amount can be explained by the five environmental parameters studied, while the remainder (100% -33.5% = 66.5%) is explained by other factors. The result of the research can be explained the variable of current velocity is the most contribute to the catch  of 34.9% and the lowest contribution is salinity of 2.9%.  Keywords: fishing effort, multiple regression analysis, Tanjung Mutiara waters

Abstract

This article tries to explore the fundamental values of Confucianism ethics and its influence to the emergence of Capitalism. By using Weber's thesis on the relationship between Protestant ethics and the spirit of capitalism, this paper concludes that the three important values of Confucianism Ethics (ren: benevolence, humaneness, li: rightness, righteousness, and fittingness, and yi: rules of proper conduct, ritual, and rites) are proposing people on how to become good human beings. If the Confucian follows these ethics properly, he/she will get the successful life. Although it is not guaranteed but the Confucianism ethics are still relevant to be practiced in contemporary situation. Some research findings recently showed that Confucianism ethics have really influence people to fulfill the "calling" (Weber's term) and it has also power to increase the spirit of capitalism. The rise of Japan, China, and the four little dragons (including South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore) is related to the development of Confucianism, and it directly brings down Weber's view point, which taught that Confucianism did not have the spirit of capitalism.KeywordsConfucianism Ethics, Confucian, Capitalism

Abstract

AbstractThe introduction of science taught in early childhood is to classify by function, to demonstrate explorative activity and to investigate, to plan the activities to be performed, to recognize environmental causes, to show initiative in choosing themes, and to solve simple problems. The role of teachers in learning science introduction gives a great influence on the ability of children in achieving the goals and benefits of learning science. This is why researchers want to examine how the role of teachers in the application of science recognition in children aged 5-6 Year Group B2 in TK Bina Sari Pontianak City and how the results of the introduction of science in children aged 5-6 Year Group B2 in TKBina Sari Pontianak City. The method used in this research is descriptive with qualitative approach. The location of the research was conducted in TK Bina Sari Pontianak Kota.Sumber of data derived from interviews of two teachers in Class B2, observation and documentation in the field. The results of this study indicate that the role of teachers in the introduction of science in children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Bina Sari Pontianak City, teachers make a plan of daily learning (RPPH). In making a learning implementation plan, teachers determine the activities to be implemented and prepare the media / learning resources needed. Teachers also do the arrangement of the environment by arranging the classroom and putting the learning media to be used, the introduction of science to children aged 5-6 years in the Pontianak City Bina Sari kindergarten, the teacher gives a foothold before doing science experiments and stepping during science experiment activities take place, teachers provide a foothold after doing science experiments on children and make notes and assessments of the progress of child development. Keywords: introduction of science, early childhood, the role of teachers

Abstract

                       AbstractThe study was conducted on September 19 - September 28 2019 in the waters of Kambang, Lengayang Subdistrict, Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatra.The method used in this research is experimental fishing method. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of using different sizes of fishing lines on the catch of fishing lines. Catches obtained during the 10-day study(10 fishing trips)By using the fishing line, there are as many as 112 fish weighing 36.5 kg. Where the number of catches based on the size of the hook 6 as many as 19 tails weighing 7.27 kg, fishing rod size 13 as many as 67 fish weighing 21.67 kg, and the size of fishing rod 14 as many as 26 with a weight of 7,595 kg.  Keyword:influence of hooks, hand line, catch
